    Dear Rich, you know when you told Russell Brand that you "could only ever have sex with women covered with ants or dressed as an ant"? Well, I immediately thought, 'Hang on a minute... the only woman I've ever seen dressed as an ant is Bridget Christie!' Hmmm. Should Stew be worried?

    After recently discovering Mr Herring keeps pants for several years to get his money's worth, I see he takes the same approach the jeans - no matter if the waistline is expanding a little, the jeans can always be worn with the belt tightened under the overhang.

    Is comedy really high status? I think Bridget contradicted that in following up with something akin to what I would say, that comedy can be a way to bring things down to a common level, or to pick apart things that are meant to be out of reach, and a way to challenge the very idea of status and class. So if you were someone separating things by status, you might not be very appreciative of comedy as an overall concept.
    I would've thought the "problem" of women in comedy is as much that people (including women) don't want to laugh at women, as it is people not recognizing them as good enough for comedy.

    Instead of giving strawman arguments about women not being funny, why doesn't she be funny to dispel the "myth"?
    I'm not saying I haven't thought a Sarah Silverman thing was "funny" I'm saying if we have to make quick statements then it's best to say "Women aren't funny" because you're less likely to be wrong on the whole. She is massively inaccurate, give the evidence, if you say "People are funny, it doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman." that would be better. Whatever is going on in a feminists head, you are likely to be wrong, probably even if you agree with them, which I can't be arsed to do.

    • @CAMZAB

      Watched this again and take back some of my comment, I suppose, forgot she said she was in a motorcycle gang, sooooo fucking cool. Like when a virgin talked to a girl and therefore was a player.

    • @CAMZAB
      @CAMZAB 7 років тому

      I doubt now that I actually listened to this all the way through the first time. Now that she's told the poltergeist and ghost stories, I'm not sure Stewart Lee has heard her lie about those before choosing to stay with her. she seems fine, but still, bit deluded.

      Instead of making long winded half arsed comments, which you realised made you look like a misogynist and so tried to redeem yourself with three equally half arsed replies, to yourself, maybe you should stop watching anything with women in it.
