Oneplus focuses on features that user use on a daily basis rather than once in a while, I'm still a oneplus one user and I'm very much happy how my phone still surviving for 4 years without any problem
Damn son!!! that's a pretty long time to keep a phone! Especially with a non removable battery! Is your battery life still ok? And what is your android version? Did you flash a rom?
BlackLion I'm still on the OnePlus One and so is my wife. We both just ordered the OnePlus 6 yesterday though. Our One's are pretty terrible at this point. Very slow, battery barely lasts, and they won't even charge right a lot of the time. The ports or cords are just too worn out at this point. Haven't installed any new OS manually other than automatic updates. Definitely in dire need of new phones.
Mine works really fast still, no custom rom. The hardware (battery, speakers, gyroscope, camera focus) are giving up on me sometimes and quite frankly a lot of apps have gotten buggy on this old a software version. It's survived a few bad drops with only a few minor scratches but those might be catching up to the phone. It's still buttery smooth though. My husband has a 5T and it's a really good phone too. Kudos to OP, I love their phones.
this is one of best reviews i have ever seen (especially of this phone). you mention all the pros and cons without weighing them in your own opinion! but you still say what is on your mind when it matters. you did great research and cover all the points without leaning towards either love or hate. amazing video! high quality and just what i needed to see to choose for myself wether to buy this phone or not.
Littlehappybeing, couldn't agree with you more, Arun is by far the most thorough reviewer and he does not overwhelm the viewers with his opinion. Simply states facts.
just go here www.oneplus.com/oneplus-6 ( you will see a flag on the top right hand coner click it and pick your country ) im pretty sure it would work in your country the thing im mad about is Hauwei phones not working in the USA that's a huge market for phones.
that's not entirely true though, you can buy Huawei phones on Amazon and such. they were GOING to sell through At&T at the start of 2017 but the US government blocked them because of "privacy concerns." Also, ya if you can go to their site, but how hard would it be for him to add that to the list of specs no?
The OnePlus 6 is my first flagship I've bought and so far, it's awesome! So all the negatives and quality issues arent really a huge deal breaker for me since im coming from a 20 dollar phone! I've had my eye on Oneplus since the 5 came out and im very happy to say it's worth the wait!

Looks like i'll be getting one. since I don't use wireless charging, sd card or the speaker and the only water my phone is getting comes from rain. So basically no cons for me except for the portrait mode
As an iPhone 7 plus user i have to say I'm impressed. And Oxygen OS sounds like the best Android version around. For now I'm not in the market to change (i plan to keep it for at least another year) but the OnePlus would require serious consideration.
Getting this phone for Xmas. I’m not concerned about being at the cutting edge of tech when it comes to my phone. I wants something fast, with decent storage and a usable camera that is somewhat future proof. Oxygen OS is light and non-invasive and I’m a fan of the dedicated notification button. It’s about the only thing I miss from having an iPhone. I’m also not too bothered about the notch. It’s happening, it’ll be standard for a while, I can live with it. The rear mounted fingerprint reader is going to take some getting used to but again, I’ll manage. For just over 500 quid, I’m not going to get a better phone than this. Great review as always dude 😊
I'm using oneplus 6 and i love it I choose it over oneplus 6t because it does not have a headphone jack and its a bummer for me For wireless charging...i do not use it that much than wired charging But hey, everyone has their own opinion right?!
Great review - hit all the points unbiased. The cons don't disappoint me, I've not had them on any phone up to now - so I won't be missing out. I've heard the dual speakers on an iPhone X but then I must remember when I actually listen to anything out load.
People judge the price increase and new features compared to the 5T and is it worth the price hike. But they forget that the 5T got improvements(which were not small at all) from the 5 without a price increase. So if you compare the price and features of OP5 to OP6 you understand that this small price hike is really really worth it. And people really take the OP5T upgrades without price hike for granted.
Calling this "the TRUTH" or a "REAL review", implies that other reviews are leaving information behind or that you're presenting something that isn't being talked about. Obviously you're just going to laugh this off or call me a "hater", but think about it: dare you call this video "the TRUTH"? What did you reveal that we didn't know yet?
I know he ended doing a whole phone review but He was mostly talking and trying to explain why it happens to be cheaper and almost on the same level as its expensive rivals.
Vandelay Industries he called this the truth because on a previous video, he compared OP6 to Samsung G9 and comments claim his comparison wasn’t accurate nor was it good. So I think he title it this way in order to clarify things.
I bought this phone in 2018 and am still currently using it in 2021, this phone absolutely still kills it and hasn't slowed down at all since then, and would even recommend buying in 2021 if you're on a tight budget. This phone is just all round for me still a really solid flagship and still absolutely kills it, the battery still last all day long with some left at the end!! and charging speed is still really really solid. In 2021 I would rate this phone 9/10 From a oneplus 6 user!
The ONLY thing I do not like about the 6 is the glass back. If it had wireless charging, yeah sure why not? But it doesn't. So why make a glass phone? All it has done is make you worry about breaking both the front and the back. Other than that it is an excellent phone.

Garrison West oh does it have better reception? Thanks didn't know that. You're right wireless charging isn't that big of a deal for most people with dash charging. I just thought the glass was just for looks. Still prefer a durable phone though. But that's just me.
Tiel Master I mean they say its for better reception. idk how much of a game changer it actually is. like I'm totally with you, I'd prefer the durability especially since they didnt add wireless charging with the glass back. though i still plan on picking one of these up soon.
Only had my OP6 for a few days and already very impressed. Fast, smooth and clean. Coming from Moto z2 play, I must say the battery is my only obvious disappointment, well below 50 by lunch time (work 9-5) but charges very quickly. Thanks
One and a half years and the fone is doing just great getting all updates timely great camera... Even greater with gcam port.. Super fast charging i literally dont have any excuse to upgrade... Guys this fone seriously great product from oneplus...
The greatest thing about the OP6 is that I started charging it at the beginning of this video and it went from 13% to 52% at the end of the video. To me that's just amazing and therefore I see no use in wireless charging.
Yes, I'd even argue that it's still a catch in late 2019. The Google camera makes it one of the best shooters surpassing my friend's iPhone Xs. Speed is amazing. Battery life is still fine but i charge only up to 80% using a rooted app. And i can't upgrade due to OnePlus being the most polished software but lacking a headphone jack...
I've seen others also talking about using an app to restrict max charge, is it really that important? I just got the OnePlus 6 and of course while I'm not against increasing its longetivity, I only charge to around 80% anyway with fast charge
@@NadimSadeeq I use the app battery charge limit to maintain it between 75 to 82 when it's connected. It is good however it requires root. Newer Samsung batteries are more resilient to 100% charging or so they say.
After using it I can’t go back to my iPhone 7 Plus. It feels like it’s running in slow motion. Camera is good also. Apple better add some more RAM to the 2018 iPhone X plus.
Jordan Comstock tbh 7+ is still a phone with a processor that competes with sd835 and the latest exynos in gaming. But yea once you use a flagship processor, you just don't wanna go back. I know how you can prevent the back from scratches and have you finger guided to the finger print cencor. Just put a good case on your phone. I prefer the spigen case its really nice, it protects well. The only con is that its makes your phone a little bit wider, but that shouldnt be a big problem because the phone itself is already not that wide
The BEST reviewer! But i will go for the HTC U12+ when it's out here in Sweden. And therefore awaits Mrwhostheboss review of that with great anticipation! ;)
If there's a discount on the 1+5t in your area I'd still highly recommend getting it. Got mine 2nd hand for 150sgd off (and only used for 2 weeks) it's normal price and I have no regrets so far The difference between the 5t and the 6 that I can see honestly is the updated GPU and a slightly better chipset, and while the 6 is much more value for money, a 20% discount on a 5T will definitely be worth the price you pay
michael johansson Yeah, wireless charging is lame. You still have to plug in the charger. Then while the phone is sitting on the pad, you can’t pick it up and use the phone. I prefer a long usb c cable. The only true wireless charging would be something of the like of Nicola Tesla mindset of an energy field in the room .
One of the best reviews I've ever seen! Bro you killed it and the way you explained each and every aspect, it feels you've studied the phone well. Kudos!
Very well done sir. Sounded educated and yet entertaining, as well as genuinely coming at it from a different angle than other reviewers and explaining things I didn't know about.
Literally my only problem is the speaker system. Not only does it not have a stereo system (which is what I want), but the speaker is placed in the worst place, being on the left side. When you go into landscape mode, unless you turn your phone upside down, it is extremely easy to block the speaker. And this matters to me because I'm not an earphone/bud person, they bother my ears. So I hope either in the 6T or the 7, they fix this. If they do, I think I will become a One Plus customer.
Hello Arun. A relatively new subscriber, here, from Hellas. Thank you for your output. Like your style, your content and your attitude. For sure, very rarely noticed nowadays in this "UA-cam wilderness". Do not change lad. Stay as you are. Stay pure. Question: do you have any idea, whether the newest Samsung Galaxy Watch is compatible with the Oneplus 6? No doubt, I have checked the dedicated Samsung page but the curration of their informative page is awful and abject and... "imformative" is a euphemism. Anyway... Thank you in advance, regardless. Take care and way to go. Cheers. George
It is good to hear the pros AND THE CONS. We see too many reviewers just ignore all the cons and overly hype the phone as if it was a paid review. This phone is in my top 3 to upgrade to.
Up till now, there is no phone that can go completely head to head with the Samsung galaxy s9+. It's either they don't have the best screen, or they don't have wireless charging, they don't have a head phone jack, they don't have micro sd support etc. So there is no phone right now that beats the S9+, every phone still gets beat by the s9+ because they are missing something here or there. The s9+ is the best phone up till now. Samsung will always lead.
daniel philips Samsung cramps every feature they can to attract customers. And it does pay off(not in places like US,Canada,Australia though) Some people got used to those features that are gone now such as no headphone jack no ad card slots etc. Especially in US most people use Bluetooth headphones/earbuds so it's no big deal for them. Micro sd cards aren't as useful as the were before(unless you use your phone as a hard disk) because most smartphones come with enough storage space these days(except Apple) Wireless charging..eh I don't know why people adore this thing when they can use a wired fast charger. It's a cool thing but meh.
No, One Plus 6 has 8GB ram in all but the entry phone. For only $50 more, you go from 6GB to 8GB ram and also from 64GB storage to 128GB storage. The most common selling model is the 8GB RAM +128GB storage model. All this for only $579 including shipping and taxes.
Best objective review without bashing any other brands.....well done. You gave us the good and the not so good depending on preference. Keep up the good work.

I just wish they would add memory card slot.
OnePlus 6 - launched on Android 8.
Will finish on Android 11.
Nice.
Oh yes
I'd be lying if I said, I wasn't waiting for this! Thank you for this amazing review.
❤️
@@Mrwhosetheboss i still use this phone.... And no lag observed. I have replaced the battery once, still i have good to go with smooth experience ❤
I've got a OnePlus 3 right now and I've had it for a while. By birthday is in 2 days and I think I know what I'm going to buy.
What do YOU think bout Lenovo Z5 Boss?
Video coming tomorrow! 👀
I've got the note 8. Does it compete?
Still my dream smartphone is 1+5 but i guess 18:9 is trending now 👀
If there's a discount on the 1+5t in your area I'd still highly recommend getting it. Got mine 2nd hand for 150sgd off (and only used for 2 weeks) it's normal price and I have no regrets so far
The difference between the 5t and the 6 that I can see honestly is the updated GPU and a slightly better chipset, and while the 6 is much more value for money, a 20% discount on a 5T will definitely be worth the price you pay
I got mi a1 now. Can't afford 1+ product yet cause im a student and i need to spend it wisely
Now a days.... just loving it videos..man
Did you get the P20pro PORSCHE??
15 subscribers without any video that is a 2000$ phone...btw its name is Mate RS
Its not worth it
It's only a chinese brand for that money i would never buy it i would buy the newest note
FYI oneplus is also
A Chinese manufacturer
15 subscribers without any video it's the mate rs
Forget the oneplus 6, this was a premium, ultra-slim, 10,000mah review, like the honesty and lack of bias, subscribed!

Your voice sounds odd.
Are you well or is it your new blue mic...
Ur videos are so calm man. A big thumbs up
I want a S9 with oxygen os...

Gionni Blood you name it👌🏻
FelixSchndr you can buy the oxygen os for 9 dollars or something
Really well done mate! this and comparison with S9+.
"religiously use wireless" lmao
Birat Thapa o
First time I see one of your vids; on point and well spoken.
I think we are not supposed to be able to see this video
Whoops, accidentally added it to a playlist before I released it 👀
This is everything I want from a phone review. No bias or hint of sponsored lip service and every angle covered. Subscribed 👍🏾
Cant use Wireless charging to anything..cant use the phone while charging..
michael johansson Yeah, wireless charging is lame.
Kudos!
Watching your review on OnePlus 6 😂
Satadru Debnath it's for sale already?
Same here
+1
Same 😀
How about the speaker when you hold it ?
Iam waiting for mine .. :)
Very well done sir. Sounded educated and yet entertaining, as well as genuinely coming at it from a different angle than other reviewers and explaining things I didn't know about.
Best phone for those who don’t take photos often
Literally my only problem is the speaker system. Not only does it not have a stereo system (which is what I want), but the speaker is placed in the worst place, being on the left side. When you go into landscape mode, unless you turn your phone upside down, it is extremely easy to block the speaker. And this matters to me because I'm not an earphone/bud person, they bother my ears. So I hope either in the 6T or the 7, they fix this. If they do, I think I will become a One Plus customer.
Where the notification Squad at ?
Benny
Something wrong with the notifications
Your voice is really gentle to the ears and you're informative... So I'm going to subscribe.
This is a monster until pixel 3 come😁
and its gonna be 400$ more expensive
noka5730 and?
Tig and it will be more expensive, AND people wont buy it, AND its sales will be less, AND it wont be much profitable for the company.
Mohammad M.E. I don't think so
Mohammad M.E. It will be way better than the oneplus 6 though lol
its so nice to have companies like oneplus making brilliant phones for half the price of other companies.
Putting "TRUTH" and "REAL" in a video title makes it sound cringy and fake, like flat earth videos
but he told us nothing else than the truth. it wasnt biased video.
Where do you find these amazing wallpapers?
Sir, Did oneplus sponsored You??
Shane W ok
Cheers.
George
2160p's squad ?? 🔥❤
Boskyy OP yeah hi
Count me in
It is good to hear the pros AND THE CONS. We see too many reviewers just ignore all the cons and overly hype the phone as if it was a paid review. This phone is in my top 3 to upgrade to.
🙄in my country in not worth that much I can get Huawei mate 10 pro at same price
shar-k ler you can order it
La te I mean that price of mate 10 pro is 540 in my country
Well op6 is without a question better than the mate 10 pro so... Well there is a reason for the mate 10 price to drop below op6 price
shar-k ler mate 10 pro is £399..
It's a tech marvel for this price.
I have already got one.. 8GB RAM & 128GB Internal Memory version.
No words to say .. just WoW!!
And it does pay off(not in places like US,Canada,Australia though)
Some people got used to those features that are gone now such as no headphone jack no ad card slots etc.
Especially in US most people use Bluetooth headphones/earbuds so it's no big deal for them.
Micro sd cards aren't as useful as the were before(unless you use your phone as a hard disk) because most smartphones come with enough storage space these days(except Apple)
Wireless charging..eh I don't know why people adore this thing when they can use a wired fast charger. It's a cool thing but meh.
Samsung S9+ has 4GB RAM. One Plus 6 has 8GB RAM. One Plus outperforms the S9+ at half the cost.
Ted H 6gb*
No, One Plus 6 has 8GB ram in all but the entry phone. For only $50 more, you go from 6GB to 8GB ram and also from 64GB storage to 128GB storage. The most common selling model is the 8GB RAM +128GB storage model. All this for only $579 including shipping and taxes.
Blah 0o Of course the S9 and S9+ are superior to the OP6. You're paying more for that better experience and hardware.
Your voice is so smooth.. great review too as im gonna get this phone that can cope well with me as normal phone user..
want to see you speak hindi 🙄🙄🙄
Best objective review without bashing any other brands.....well done. You gave us the good and the not so good depending on preference. Keep up the good work.
