About The Band: 5-piece Los Angeles-based, family Rock/Metal band, “Liliac” has sparked the world by storm. This female-fronted band consisting of all siblings’ ages 14-22 has brought a unique and fresh sound they call “Vamp Metal”. Lead vocalist, Melody (20), with her raspy-powerful voice; Lead guitarist, Samuel (22), with his skillful-effortless guitars; Drummer, Abigail (21), with her solid-thunderous drums; Bassist, Ethan (15), with his rich-thick bass; Keyboardist, Justin (14), with his passionate-polished keys; is what makes this band so incredible and catches the eyes of millions. Liliac, which means “bat” in Romanian, not only, has a unique meaning but also a unique story.
Their father, seeing the talent in all five kids, envisioned the band. Giving each of them instruments to learn, they started out street performing on the Santa Monica pier, every weekend, for many years. Building their confidence and honing their craft, Liliac would gather large crowds interested in watching this family perform. Little did they know they would become a young music sensation..
They released 2 original albums: the first being an EP of 6 songs called "Chain of Thorns" & the second a full length album of 13 songs titled "Queen of Hearts". They have been touring nationally all over the country and hope one day to tour internationally. With their youth, passion and hard work, you will hear more about them because they are here to impact the world!!!

Awesome!!! Liliac is legit! Their covers and originals are fire! I grew up listening to hair band metal, and have been thoroughly impressed with their music. Having been a musician, who played cover songs back in the day, it’s not as easy as some might think. Love me some Liliac!

Not only is LILIAC the best band that ever walked the earth since David played that funny guitar in the Old Testament (5000 B.C.) Melody is also the best microphone spinner ever. Saw them at the beginning of the year when they played at the Whisky in Hollywood. Awesome show.

hey, Jen....my musical education began with my dad's younger sisters living with us, and playing Elvis. Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins; basically, the "rockabilly" era, and expanded from there......therefore, these kids are well over the top when it comes to just hardcore rock & roll, heavy metal, even some rather popish songs, but, I can't take anything away from them; they're outstanding

With this band being talented being said, they are going nowhere anytime soon, not away from you tube or the speakers of those that recognize the pure talent the vocalist emits!
Melody's vocals are #1 in my book I was fanged over 3 years ago as soon as I heard her voice and she is so much better now and that's crazy! Thanks Jen for another awesome reaction and stay well. Fang4Life!!

Liliac is one of those bands that everyone wants to ignore. They sure as hell got my attention. Holy shit they can rock 🤘🤘!! I've been fanged for awhile. I pray that they continue to kick ass and take names. Samuel is a fucking phenomenal guitarist and Melody's vocals are stratospheric. Abigail's drumming is stellar and the bassist and keyboardist are phenomenal as well.

They released Vertigo (Live in Woodstock GA, 2021) as well. Wish they would make an OMV for it though.
Not Afraid is the song they start their concerts with and it sounds just as good Live, speaking from experience here.

I heard another reactor say that Liliac is destined to be a stadium band and I can't disagree with that. EVERYTHING they do is OUTSTANDING!! ROCK ON AND ROCK HARD!!!! Fang for life!!
They have since released 2 more songs from that Vertigo Concert (2021) called "Let me go" and "Queen of Hearts" that you might find "interesting....

My humble opinion is in sync with your humble opinion and being a lot older than you and having listened to great musical talent for more than 60yrs I also agree that Liliac know how to kick ass (arse) imagine them in a stadium with an audience the size of a ACDC or a METTALICA concert , I can and I honestly believe they are going to do it . I think you might want to consider checking out their Original "Dancing In The Dark" whole different side to Melody's voice but you'll understand when you hear it plus it's a beautiful video.
It's obvious that they need stadiums. But for that, with all the sorrow, they need to choose and sign one of the biggest publishing house in the world. They deserve world-wide promoting, festivals and concerts with 40-50.000+ attendance.
Agree but when they offer you 5-10% of your inncome the 5 first years they said no thanks.

@@ringmoen1 that's Simon Cowell. Maybe others offer better arrangements. And sometimes 5-10% could be a lot of money for the band if the company sells for them millions of copies.
PS. I'm a writer and my best deal with my publishing house is 7%.

"Liliac just a cover band" .... LOL yeah so were the Beatles (1 and 2 almost all 50's covers) and they turned out OK. There is nothing wrong with doing covers, especially when you put your own little twist on them which will usually get two thumbs up from the original artist too.

Mainstream doesn't acknowledge them because they buck the system and remain independent for total control which is good but the mainstream medium controlling music today is a powerful adversary....
It's not as powerful as the FANS. The VOICES of the FANS will overwhelm the mainstream soon. Besides, the music industry as we know it is about to die anyway. Changes are coming.

I saw this live...my show was in the clips. This is exactly how it sounded except the poor house system struggled to keep up with Melody's ridiculous vocals.They are amazing!

The Warning trolls are never going to shut up. They are just a bunch of whiners that can't take the fact that Liliac is just BETTER than the warning. Period. Don't get me wrong, those 3 girls are very talented but they are limited in what they can do LIVE because there are only 3 of them and they write music that requires more than 3 people to play it like their studio version. Been a Liliac fan for several years.
I liked Melody's voice. This a song is great. My problem is " you said their covers are excellent ", but Melody's vocals are not the same. I love her screaming/high notes. My problem is the live version of the covers vocals are changing. Her vocal style is starting to sound like a Las Vegas lounge singer. Starting to sound like the God Father. Extending notes out of the beat. They are amazingly talented. Not sure if she trying to get to a flor Jenson voice. Or a screaming metal voice. (Why try to sound like someone else).
I hope they have a vocal coach.
The high note stuff does not worry me to much. But the general sound of her voice sounds like she is may be forcing the style. I hope they have a vocal coach or a doctor check her vocal cords. Diana Ankudinova was medically checked at 14yo during her compitition on "You Are Super"
She was starting to develop vocal cord nodules. Was given exercises to help stop them. The Warning did sign with a record label. (7 months of negotiation) got what they wanted. They signed with one of the largest publicizing companies.
That's when their videos started to get blocked ( not sure they are being helped that much) never heard of Alessia Cara till " Enter Sandman ".
She belongs to the same publishing company. I'm afraid The Warning is going to out do Liliac. Partially because they are a triple threat and they sound the same in concert as their studio version. (As far as you can live) but you do get to ad the live energy. Hate my opinion, I do have all of Liliac's album releases. There are famous groups I would never pay to see live. Hank Williams Jr, Aerosmith (never liked their live album). Other groups were awesome. ZZ Top, Alabama, Wade Hayes. Joe Diffie, Brooks & Dunn and The Warning. Seen all live all songs performed basically as original studio version (that's what you originally fall in love with) of course their is some audience participation and the live energy, but basically what you liked to start with.
Just some info. Papa Liliac aka Florin Cristea has been Melody's vocal coach since the beginning.
She also regularly goes to a throat doctor and she's fine.
I personally do like the whistle notes she is starting to add in Live shows, and also she's starting to add some growls.
It proves she is always evolving her vocals, not just staying with one style, she did it with the opera in Dear Father too.

I wouldn't worry about The Warning out doing Liliac too much. They both have Originals, Patreon & are very active on social media.
Both bands are around the same age however The Warning started much earlier & yet Liliac has more YT Views & Subs.
There's really only 2 main differences between the 2. Liliac- 5 Piece, Independent. The Warning- 3 Piece, Record Label.

Liliac joined YT Sep 12 2012 with 489K Subs and are about to hit 110M Views.
So, The Warning are catching up but they haven't quite made it yet. As you know Liliac's new album will be coming 2023.
