Billy’s sigh after the Golden Age-Post Crisis Batman explanation is a perfect way to sum up how all the adult characters feel about Hank 90% of the time.
Actually I think it was more a sigh of annoyance because OF COURSE Billy knows that Golden age and Post-Crisis Batman are totally different characters.
I honestly forgot Brock pointed out that Hank "channels dead crazy people". Reminds me of this theory that I read about Hank actually being a parody of Moon Knight rather than Batman. Great video btw, possible we could get a Best of Phantom Limb or is that already in the works?
2:28 Honestly Hank makes a pretty good point here. They really ought to let him join Sphinx/OSI at this point. Silly as he is, he is more than qualified.
It’s the joke that keeps giving. Like, how wound he know/think it’s a cry for help, where would he pick ‘that’ stuff up, how could he become so self aware?!
"why must you be the screen door on my submarine" jesus christ. if someone i knew said that to me i would just go into shock trying to process how it applies
The Dracula Vs Yoda got me thinking that it was just a weird Hank mashup fight. But after a rewatch I got that Hank meant it was like Yoda Vs Count Dooku who was played by Christopher Lee who also played Dracula! So I like to think when Hank saw Attack of the Clones, he thought Count Dooku was Dracula the whole time!!!
Ok so here me out, Hank is the one who will usher in a new era of ventures. The best age. Unlike his brother he is actually a good person, unlike his brother he shows real world smarts (Hank co., Whenever he was the bat). He is the perfect venture, ingenuity, caring slightly an ass hole but only enough to make you laugh and think about things. He is what every venture has strove to be, including Jonas sr.
@@Irishhound so what they're kids man lol shit happens, they weren't in a happy marriage with children it was a boyhood fling. That's still his brother and you saw how tore up Dean was at Hanks bedside going over his ridiculously long guilt-list
Well doc did make a machine from a dead orphans soul/heart so its possible the learning beds are. Or he's linked to all his past selves. With this show anything goes.

I love Hank lol
timestamp is 5:25
Billy is one of the only emotional adults in the show

He does tend to lose track of himself when hes playing someone else, its possible he really is a channeler of some kind.
they are kind of missing that supernatural element from Within the family
2:28 it’s kinda amazing how capable hank is. Like when he was “the bat” in the jungle and defeated all those man-animal hybrids all by himself
3:05
“She was all over you!”
“You think?”
“No”
Comedy gold
Early hank : lame weirdo
Season 4 onward : one of the best characters in fiction
The fact that Hank knows the different between Golden Age Batman and Post-Crisis Batman.... I think I've found myself a new Spirit Animal!
Hank’s like Beowulf from Skullgirls. Everything he says is a catchphrase.
I didnt realize just how long this shows been going on for until I realized just how much the animation quality jumps around.
3:01 “Aren’t you just a little ashamed of your ignorance?”
“Like just a little?”
Hank: “Yeah. Constantly.”
Me: Okay, good.
5:40 It's not too surprising knowing where he picked it up.
2:28 Honestly Hank makes a pretty good point here. They really ought to let him join Sphinx/OSI at this point. Silly as he is, he is more than qualified.
And then the guy tries a slow clap and gets beaned in the head with a phone
But Dean has died around 20 times. That’s more than most people.
He’s an idiot and has died numerous times.
He cant follow orders that why they can't accept him
You gotta have a high school diploma to qualify
*HS diploma prints out*
Aannd you have to be 18.
1:08 I love how Brock lip is quivering, he's so proud of this young hero.
Can't believe that show got cancelled
and i can't believe it's getting a movie along with aqua teen hunger force and metalocolypse.
@@gentlemanmaniac9992 ATHF already has a movie.
@@InsomniaRex yeah but they’re getting another movie.
@Anakin Skywalker CW It was canceled like a year ago.
Adult Swim used to have the best shows. Now it's just yet another Family Guy bore fest.
Brock: “It’s like he channels dead crazy people.”
Hank: “You think it’s a cry for help??”
Everyone else: “Uh, Duh!!” 🙄

That "Honky" part always gets me to laugh so hard, I fall over!
"Honest Abe's a moe that's what happened"
Hank is such a try hard but for some reason it just works and the kid is actually naturally cool? No, I don't get it either lol

"There was even talk of French Toast! But there was none to be had."
I love that you can hear the betrayal in his voice.
Super appreciate you leaving in the gag at 2:53 when Gathers yeets the phone
one of my favourite moments
i died laughing at the wind up
0:28 easily one of my favorite hank quotes (hell even out of the entire series); he's just a funny dude!
100% agreed.
That last one was the most romantic, in a way only Hank could muster.
let's be real here, Hank got so much better when he grew out his hair, felt like he wanted to be more like Brock
love that Russian Guyovich has to say "how you say..." for his own name
Hank is really just a Gem. He's probably, like, the most ethically sound of the Venture Clan.
Nothing makes me laugh more than the Monarch's reaction to Hank calling Doc a honky
3:23 reaction to hank is funny. I never see you read
1:02 I can't believe it's hard to kill these two.

I love hank so much.
“I’m outta gun food!”
I forget Hank has Les Claypool bass powers.
They better finish this show off with a bang in the venture bros movie, anything less will be a gross disservice to all of us
0:46 this is the cutest
I agree with Dean on the Batman thing
"It's like he channels dead crazy people." Did Jonas sr have a connection to the learning beds?
Well doc did make a machine from a dead orphans soul/heart so its possible the learning beds are. Or he's linked to all his past selves. With this show anything goes.

I can't wait to see hank story in venture bros movie
im out of gun food cracked me up more than it should have
I've been on the Doc Venture side of the "on the rag" argument - it's not comfortable.
two words: chimp Eden
That phone chuck from hunter gathers!😂😂😂😂
Holy Shit, Dracula vs Yoda is the ending of Attack of the Clones. Took me this long to figure it out.
*THE BAT*
Agree about the cereal idea, Hank.
Wanna be best things about Hank is other peoples reactions to his shenanigans. I came here for and they kill clean. "
They did my boy dirty in the last season.
Hank's best quote is "do you think it's a cry for help"
1:04 Then I’ll see you in heck.

4:12 THAT'S A HOT LICK!
Yea Clarissa, explain it all.
Surely we can get a crowdfunded final series
Will a feature film do?
Hank's one of a kind.
5:34 I think the quizboy would know the difference and appreciate it.
I dare you to make less sense!
"...now let's get back to my idea: two words: 'MoonCircus'."
00:36 "Why must you be the screen door on my submarine?"
Lol I gotta remember that one
Goddamn that kid has moxie.
That kid has undiagnosed ADHD.
Abe being a "mo" is hilarious
hunters remark to the idea of adoption is by far one of my favorite lines in this show.
yeah clarissa explain it all
