I dig the fake forging marks hammered in by hand-lol
Somehow I think that 99% of "japanese knives" on sale on the internets are made exactly this way...
So where can we buy an authentic Japanese chef's knife?
Woah! The dude at 11:30 got two thumbs on each hand! For real!!
Good to have spare in this factory
@@andrslnks4804 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So what ?
@@misiek2514 Chicken squat
@@misiek2514it's a rare mutation so it's cool, that's what.
No water cooling during sharpening.
Edge will be soft and dull easy.
It looks thin enough not to even matter since the geometry is so thin it can cut way after the edge is no longer sharp
Hand made knife...
They work so hard for a living....may God gives them a good life.
they produce tends of kids so yes they need to work hard to feed them. Sell your house and give them donation.
But wait a minute.... the absolutely only criteria for a knife to be called a Japanese knife... "Is if it was actually made in Japan!"
Pakistan is full of craftsman
It might have been a half decent knife if you could be bothered to cool it down from time to time?
It's intended to be a fake from the beginning
But it's Japanese.
@@mcyclonegt No, it's not. These are knock-offs designed to look like a forged Japanese knife as cheaply as possible. The only thing they have in common with the real thing is superficial appearance.
So , you don't think these guys know what their doing ? OK , 'Sparky ' . Stick to Home Depot .
@@oldbuzzard76 They do know what they're doing, making a cheap counterfit. The people you see here don't care that these are trash, because it's the work they can get, wherever this is. It probably doesn't pay well either. Their employers don't care either.
This is Japanese knife duplicate. Good job sir.
I like it
Just because you call it Japanese doesn't make it so. This is about as authentic as pleather.
Such a talented people's lives in Pakistan
Hmmmm....
Car bumper chefs knife 👌🏻
They look like Japanese, but process is totaly different, and metal results may not be as good
they used used leaf spring steel 5160 carbon. It's a quality metal which makes good knives.

Nice job !
Very nice knife
Super annaa

Guy at 9:05 won’t ever be able to give people a high 5. Lol
I enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
These guys always work so hard.
Not always. Seven times a day the do their prayers.

Hard working
That heat treatment which is called quenching the knife
But it even has further process of tempering which they have skipped
These are the same ones you get on UA-cam adverts
Now I will always fear when buying a knife online with a good price that this will be made like this... new fear :(
Just look online for good knife steel info. A knife maker who uses good steel will know usually how to make a good knife. Their not cheap. Read reviews.
WMF and Zwilling are very good brands for knives
That knife is made from quality steel and a quality process.
Amazing super sharp Japanese chefs knives made in Pakistan. Halalli certified.
Video bạn làm rất hay
That will hurt professionals Japanese blacksmith craftsmen , have to be careful ..thank for showing this video unbelievable counterfeit
красота
Safety first!
Halo salam kenal bos 😂
Santoku knife, is Japanese in design.
The shape is a santoku, but these are fakes.
@@orbatos Agreed, only look-alikes, not heirloom quality.

The hammering here is just decorative, there is no purpose, other than possibly creating microfractures. The hammer marks from Japanese work is from actually working the metal while it's hot. I appreciate that so many places are making knives these days, but this is visual copycatting only. With a few minor adjustments, these guys could be making great knives instead of garbage.
wow @ 8:20 they have Super Glue how innovative
❤❤❤❤❤
OSHA,The HSE and the likes have a place in this world.
Porque trabajan asi en el suelo 🤔
Bukan asli pisau jepang 🇯🇵
Pisau jepang asli di tempa oleh master.
Good but no rust proof
So it’s a Japanese knife made in India😂😂
Not in India its in Pakistan
The dude with 4 thumbs freaked me out.
Assalamo alaykoum frère
Ou on peut acheter ces couteaux ?????.
Merci beaucoup
It's in Pakistan
It's clear that this product is hand made in Pakistan!
'Japanese' knives from the Khyber Pass?
In America♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
You have to put on safety glasses
bom vídeo meu amigo belíssimas peças parabéns
It looks like this steel blade is just flattened without forging and folding like Japanese knife making
❤
Hey the fact of the counterfeit japanese blades notwithstanding, but did you see the 6 fingered person at 15:40? Both hands.
How is this a Japanese knife? These guys are in Iraq or Iran.

Damn.. Clean your plasma table.
It’s one thing to have good machinery it’s another thing to maintain and clean them😤
While you're at it, check out 11:30 time stamp. Poor guy has two thumbs on each hand!!
4:38 what is that for a Thumb? Crazy!
God Bless these people who are working very hard with what they have, making knives.
What a heat treatment process.
Would’ve been good if they used better metals
@ 3:10 I bet the knives say they are cold forged LMAO
👋👋👋👋👍👍👍👍👍
yea I want all my knives sharpened by a barefoot guy in pajamas YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME
So where do I get a set of these?
I don‘t get why the batches are always thrown on the floor after each work step. Why not get couple of open top boxes?
Don´t have to be bad knifes if the steel was halfways right, but japanese are those not. Please give those man water cooled grinding stones, they ruined the heat treatment by overheating the steel.
Ancient Japanese province of jun Kai. Rare subculture of Japan mixed with its neighbors in India. All of this is the same as it was done in 200-400 BC. The stone grinders date back to 1000 BC. Beautiful.
That's Pakistani Japanese Knives. Not India.
what camera do you use to make videos?
Tôi muốn mua địa chỉ bán ở đâu
you can at least say they are hand hammered LOL @ 3:10
Wow that was some good click bait who knew Japanese knives werent made in Japan 🤣🤣
Do the knives have a brand?
👍👍🤔🤔🇷🇺
Japanese knife made in in India...
Para pekerja keras
nice! good work!
Japanese knives.....made in India...
Look very Japanese
These are not stainless steel.
Pakistanese ?
Once again pure India craftman work. Don't call it Japanese knife when it's made of leaves spring steel. It's not good quality
Also, it's super fun to watch the grinder guy ruin the "heat treat" if you call it that. The blade is turning temper colors on the grinder. Not Bueno. Those are soft spots in the edge now, basically, you can't resharpen the blade now. Hahah awesome, document your lack of knowledge through video.
The time and effort that goes into these, with a few changes minor changes they could be sold for alot more and would actually be highly sought after. Just make the tang longer, actually heat treat the blades, then DONT let the grinders ruin it when grinding. It would change everything
How to purchase this
Japanese knife which is made in Pakistan 😂😂😂😂
