this is how I feel about dancing, playing guitar, starting a youtube channel, traveling the world, etc. Learning other languages... but I love learning, and I won't give up, and I have already started everything except traveling the world hehe (:
Infamous Onion Cutting Ninja! well, I'm west coast, but at least you're in the us too! might not be so crazy after all to collab. what videos do you do haha
Infamous Onion Cutting Ninja! wow our dreams are pretty similar!! very cool! I have a guitar but don't practice as much as I should, but technically that dream is fulfilled. I want to take it one step farther by posting covers on my channel but that's hard bc my mic is the built in mic to my camera (well my family camera, the canon t5 I helped pay for). I need new editor gear to continue my youtube dream...also to travel. right now I'm happy, so that's important, but I would love to buy a computer that could handle all the footage I shoot & need to edit. I have so many video ideas just not the means to carry them out I should say! very cool you went to NY, did you go during the holiday season??
This is the simplest and shortest TED talk I've ever seen. but it's the most fulfilling! I needed to hear this, THANK YOU for giving me hope and inspiration!
"were all gonna die someday and what's that one thing were gonna regret not doing" makes me feel like I have to do the things I want before its to late
This is so inspiring! I'm on the first day of my dance journey, and I was feeling a little self conscious and disappointed, but now I see what can happen if I keep going❤️
Honestly....before in her girl learns to dance video i though her ending dance didn't really show how good she got. Now at the end of this video you can see that she actually can dance well.
I am watching in mid-2018. I will be taking my first ever dance class in 2 days and I couldn't be grateful enough for telling us your story. I have been putting this thing off for years. It's my dream to learn dance and been setting it aside because I have so many responsibilities in life and i'm already 27. But can't take dance off my mind. I must learn to dance. and your story spoke so much to me. And I will forever be grateful for people like you ❤❤ In 2 days, finally I am starting my dance journey. 🤗🤗🤗
I wanted to start dancing in 7th grade but mt mom said "you don't have the body for it" and crushed everything and now im 15 and still regret not telling her anything
BestBadInfluence dude i just started my 1st day and my family puts me down but it's about how strong your determination is. Dont let others bring you down. You chase your own goals.
I’m in 7th grade and I wanna learn how to dance should is start :D I really wanna learn I feel like it would boost my confidence :) I wanted to learn a little earlier but my sister told me not to cause it wouldn’t benefit me in the future but I don’t understand why I can’t learn something just to enjoy it 😅
I have a band and I'm trying my hardest to learn instruments and dance and my biggest passion is singing and performing for people and god so this is really inspiring. I have been a lot more confident lately and my stage fright is gone
I love this, thank you for sharing this with us. i am 29 years old and i feel like i am an old man. i am barely trying to get started and get into dancing it seems like it is a lot of fun and alot of the music i like to listen is dancing music like kpop, . i will do it and i will not give up and push myself and do what you did . thanks again for sharing .
For me who is trying to practice at home this was so inspiring really after one year I want to be a better dancer and my goal is to go into an academy when I go to university thanks
I take BART often into the city but never caught the chance to see her dance at the station that time her previous video was filmed. She's got some real talent for dance.
You can! Start listening to personal development videos. There are tons on youtube. Try Jim Rohn, John Maxwell, to name a few. You first gotta have a millionaire mindset before you get your million.
This video is beautiful. Probably connected with SO many people... I can kinda say I'm freaked out the same words came out of me the other day to my family.
I wanna start dancing hip hop but I'm not any good at dancing I'm NOT FLEXIBLE I'm 13 the only dance lessons Iv ever done in my life was ballet for 4 months when I was 8 (I didn't like the dance style much I do now though) anyway my point is I wanna start dancing but I think I'm to old to start all the other kids at the studio in my age are super good and I'm still nervous to start ...T^T
I started last week in hip hop dancing and I'm 28. That's the point, it's never too late. Plus, no one is flexible, they become flexible. I wasn't either until I got into yoga and strech exercises. You've got many years ahead of you kid, don't give up that easily.
I wanted to get into dancing when I was your age too. My mom even set me up with a lesson at a place by my house but I told her to cancel it because I was too afraid for the same reasons that you said. Now I'm almost 23 and I still want to learn how to dance and regret not getting into it when I was younger. Go for it!
Joyce-Marilyn Don't wait 'til you're my age (27) to start dancing. What if I tell you I don't think I'm still flexible enough to dance hiphop, but I'm still gonna try it anyway? Go ahead and start it now girl. You're still veeery young.
She took videos of her classes... showed up as much as possible to dance lessons.. practiced on her own time, everyday... learned from other dancers/choreographers... and had the willingness to fall, get up and learn from her mistakes. She taught herself to learn.
Kathy Myers I'm sure when she watches other people dance she tries to apply that to her practice. It is what I assume at least. That's what I do when I try to improve my drawing skills.
I started to teach myself how to dance too. Here's at tip: instead of worrying how to start (don't worry it's normal I think all dancers think that way when starting to dance with no teacher) you should just get up and literally start. I started about a week and a half ago. I don't really know what I'm doing but I can actually see that I've gotten better. I practice whenever I get the chance. For dimestopping I use a metronome and do it to that. I'm starting at a really slow beat right now so that my movements can get sharper. I've been wanting to learn how to dance for months but I didn't know how to start I just kept on looking up dancing videos and not really practicing the way you're supposed to. You should just Start and I'm sure you'll get a lot better even though you might feel unsure
MyLifeAsPotato is right. I have been dancing for 4 years and thats how i started, watch a ton of videos, find people and styles that you like and try what you see over and over :)
I spent my entire childhood wishing to be as privileged as a her. wishing that the only obstacle in between me and that awful horrible painful nagging of desires and dreams and goals was only due to my lack of motivation and that if I just decided so I can get up and suddenly afford dance classes and then my parents would suddenly care enough to take me
The moment she started talking I just felt the suddent feeling of anger inside me. She looks like one of those people who just want to be liked. And btw her dance after 170 days was way better than what she did on stage at the end.. *No hatred in any means, just an opinion
That is not dancing, that's just doing some steps right after another. That's like doing aerobics, or gymnastics dance moves, one by one..... Dancing is a flow of movements on the rhythm of the beat, listening to the melody, that you let change that movement, to that melody. So in the total concept, it all becomes one. -- This, was not dancing, sorry.
M Sij There are so many facets to dancing that aren't just grounded to one form (choreo, freestyle (which is the one you're describing), interpretive, etc). Just food for thought
does this help the world become a better place? no. does it even have anything to do w the overall point? no. not everything needs a negative comment, my gosh.
Lol are you for real. Is that your definition of dancing or? Cause I've never heard it. Dancing is whatever you want it to be lol. It's an Art. How you gonna tell someone how to do art and express themselves. I'd like to see you see one move and do it so effortlessly as she did. She displayed tutting, robotics, animation, slow motion, hip hop, and jazz all in one. and let me just say she mastered all of it. The way she goes from slow to fast and holds the best to truly grasp you is amazing. If that's not dancing I'm not sure what is cause I watched her dance to music, express herself, do an art, do various genres and do great at it, and it moved me. I don't get moved watching gymnastics so idk what you saying this is gymnastics. I'm a dancer and I personally do this style a lot
this is how I feel about dancing, playing guitar, starting a youtube channel, traveling the world, etc. Learning other languages... but I love learning, and I won't give up, and I have already started everything except traveling the world hehe (:
Oh my. Everytime when I meet person with the same experience like mine I'm feeling shocked. I'm not the only one.
where do you live haha one day we will meet!
Infamous Onion Cutting Ninja! well, I'm west coast, but at least you're in the us too! might not be so crazy after all to collab. what videos do you do haha

Relating so hard I'm crying. Only relating to the start tho. Not the actually learnt how to dance thing or progress thing
what about today ?
Are you good now ?
Are you good now ?
This is so inspiring! I'm on the first day of my dance journey, and I was feeling a little self conscious and disappointed, but now I see what can happen if I keep going❤️
I am gonna learn how to dance from now! I am 15, hopefully I will have progress!
are you still dancing?
Honestly....before in her girl learns to dance video i though her ending dance didn't really show how good she got. Now at the end of this video you can see that she actually can dance well.

Are you still dancing?
You know what. Fuck it, i'm gonna start learning today :)
And that's what it is about. Learning.
With the right attitude and mindset, anybody can learn and get better in time.
Claire N. I was also thinking of them lol :) They're my biggest inspiration. Right now i'm learning to dance hip hop at my local dance acdemy
yooo when I read your user, i instantly liked you LMAo
hey its been 4 months, how is the progress going? dont tell me you gave up
James Kim it's doing great! I started taking hip hop classes and just learning choreography at home too.
The passion her body reflected as she spoke and then through her dance are everything !!!
Let’s life a life with no regrets
I wanted to start dancing in 7th grade but mt mom said "you don't have the body for it" and crushed everything and now im 15 and still regret not telling her anything
BestBadInfluence dude i just started my 1st day and my family puts me down but it's about how strong your determination is. Dont let others bring you down. You chase your own goals.
do it now. I’m 17 and I want to dance!
Watch some videos of larger women dancing. Body shape doesn’t matter-it’s what you do with your body. Do what you love.
Same
I’m in 7th grade and I wanna learn how to dance should is start :D I really wanna learn I feel like it would boost my confidence :) I wanted to learn a little earlier but my sister told me not to cause it wouldn’t benefit me in the future but I don’t understand why I can’t learn something just to enjoy it 😅

I like your message, but I LOVE your body language. Great speaking skills. Keep motivating people :)
I love this, thank you for sharing this with us.

Ugh.. I'm crying. I relate so much, I only started yesterday but I really want to dance so much...
And how is it going?
This is so inspiring! Congratulations on your journey and thanks for giving me strength to archive my own goals. You're beautiful inside and out.
Absolutely inspiring 😍
What she talks about in the intro really resonates with me.
For me who is trying to practice at home this was so inspiring really after one year I want to be a better dancer and my goal is to go into an academy when I go to university thanks
why does this have little views?
The littlest views
I take BART often into the city but never caught the chance to see her dance at the station that time her previous video was filmed. She's got some real talent for dance.
wow wow wow !!!!!!
Never before inspired like this!!
Thank you
i want to learn how to be a millionaire:D
lol.
You can! Start listening to personal development videos. There are tons on youtube. Try Jim Rohn, John Maxwell, to name a few. You first gotta have a millionaire mindset before you get your million.
o.o well then....
me too :P
Start with Dave Ramsey's book, The Total Money Makeover.
Great to know about your incredible story, thanks for being a great inspiration 😍😍😍
I agree with you because I'm still trying and I can't get the hang of it.
I want to learn how to dance
This video is beautiful. Probably connected with SO many people... I can kinda say I'm freaked out the same words came out of me the other day to my family.
fisrt time thing is probably be the best thing i have learned today or in year or in my entire life
Wow.
Amazing
I recently started liking dancing but I have never danced so I am kind of scared to dance in front of people ;/
Nathaly honey dont be, dance is expression. No one will judge you when you start, dancers are a family
Amazing
Great! You wanted it...you got it!! looking good with it.

Mariel Lopez thank you so much this helps a lot 😊
PandaRhythm you don’t need to be flexible at all to dance good
I wanted to get into dancing when I was your age too. My mom even set me up with a lesson at a place by my house but I told her to cancel it because I was too afraid for the same reasons that you said. Love this so much! :)
I'm astounded
Wow thank you for this inspiration. I want to write music. I'm ready now, this is what I want
This is so inspiring!
Thank you so much for this
"When you die, what will you regret not at least trying?"
But how did she teach herself?
practice and determination
you can watch UA-cam videos on how to dance if you don't want to take a class. You can learn almost anything on UA-cam now.
She took videos of her classes... showed up as much as possible to dance lessons.. practiced on her own time, everyday... learned from other dancers/choreographers... and had the willingness to fall, get up and learn from her mistakes.
She taught herself to learn.
By making up moves to the music. That's what dancing is.
This is what I'm really looking for☺
the first ever woah is in this video: 5:03
Awesome
how do you teach yourself IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW? if you can teach yourself it means you do know how.
Kathy Myers I'm sure when she watches other people dance she tries to apply that to her practice. It is what I assume at least. That's what I do when I try to improve my drawing skills.

Andrea T hi! What kind of dance are you trying to learn? I'm also interested but not too sure about what to do..
yup
thank you for inspiring me
:)
fearless!
Anyone who doesn't just want but actually does? I'm on my 8th month of practice
Shanice is inspired
can someone tell me what is this style of dancing?
playing this at 1.25x speed makes it normal talking speed...
but what did she do to learn?how? i want to know how!!!
she probably just watched a bunch of youtube videos and analyzed what they were doing and tried doing it herself
MyLifeAsPotato is right. I have been dancing for 4 years and thats how i started, watch a ton of videos, find people and styles that you like and try what you see over and over :)
@@pedroquerollara8051 would you recommend me a youtube channel
That took a whole year?
my issue is that I want to do everything lol
Should have left the camera zoomed out for a dancing shot. Zoom in missed tons of the moves. Great job on her though!
what is the name of this type of dancing?
It's like a mixture of freestyle (popping) and choreography.
I try and teach myself and hit roadblock after roadblock.
I spent my entire childhood wishing to be as privileged as a her. wishing that the only obstacle in between me and that awful horrible painful nagging of desires and dreams and goals was only due to my lack of motivation and that if I just decided so I can get up and suddenly afford dance classes and then my parents would suddenly care enough to take me
I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING. NO AUDIO FOR THIS VIDEO. WHY?
The audience looked fake. Anyone else? 🤔
lots of jibber jabber until 3:57 when she finally starts showing how she did it
The moment she started talking I just felt the suddent feeling of anger inside me. She looks like one of those people who just want to be liked. And btw her dance after 170 days was way better than what she did on stage at the end.. *No hatred in any means, just an opinion

M Sij lmao that's probably the stupidest comment I've read on UA-cam. Come back when you know anything about dance styles besides dubstep kiddo
M Sij There are so many facets to dancing that aren't just grounded to one form (choreo, freestyle (which is the one you're describing), interpretive, etc). Just food for thought
M Sij that's exactly what she was doing though.
does this help the world become a better place? no. does it even have anything to do w the overall point? no.
not everything needs a negative comment, my gosh.
Lol are you for real. Is that your definition of dancing or? Cause I've never heard it. Dancing is whatever you want it to be lol. It's an Art. it is kinda funny that I am 20 and I feel old to start! Damn I will start right now!
I feel ya girl. I’m 19 and doing the same thing.
