You missed what is my personally favorite most interesting thing to see in San Antonio. It actually reduced my Mother to tears when she saw it. Not sure if it is still there, though. It was in the museum at Lackland AFB. The wind tunnel model of the B-24 was made by my grandfather when he worked at Convair in San Diego and he took it up to Caltech for wind tunnel testing.
I just wanted to tell you thank for not forgetting the Missions, the National Historical Mission Parks there in SA. My husband worked for the Park service there for 21 years till he retired and his last church was Mission Concepcion, when he first started he was so surprised that a lot of the locals didn’t even know that the missions existed. Thank you again. I like the coffee shirt., would like to have one..

We were in San Antonio this past January. It was the weekend and the weather was absolutely gorgeous 70's. We saw many of the places that you highlighted and really enjoyed our stay.

I was stationed in San Antonio for two years plus basic training, all at Lackland AFB, 1974-1978. How nice it is to see areas like The Pearl being revitalized. I really need to plan a trip to revisit. As always, thank you for your informative videos, your active service and the service you continue for our veterans.

Born and raised here so it's normal. Just walk slower, plenty of cool drinks and duck into places with a/c and your good.

Love the pearl. So many other areas too, Boerne, Fredericksburg, Round Top antiques week , Canton, so many areas I love , great food, great hiking, great antiquing.

Great video! We are about to start our very first adventure full time RVing (in October) We are going from VA to CA! We're planning on taking a southern route and might have to add San Antonio to our list of places to stop and visit along the way! Thanks again for your videos! I WANT COFFEE! My husband and I visited San Antonio about 10 years ago for a vacation. We loved it! Stayed on the Riverwalk and saw several of the 10 spots you mentioned. Loved the botanical gardens and the Missions. What a fun city! We’re from Michigan so quite a different place. Love your channel❤️

I want coffee!! This was a wonderful trip down memory lane. We lived in SA for 4 1/2 years and I have been to many of the places you visited. One of our favorite restaurants was the Guenther House which is just on the edge of the King William District. The restaurant is in the house of the founder of Pioneer Flour Mills. There is a neat little museum (sorry Phil) there too. We miss SA but NOT the heat!

What a great video guys! I'm from Houston but I LOVE LOVE LOVE San Antonio. I take the fam there every chance I get. I even like binging San Antonio videos on UA-cam, but this one I have to say is such a breath of fresh air, finally somethinf different from all the rest of them that emphasize the same tourists attractions and restaurants. I'll be sure to visit your blog on where the locals go. P.S. when you said, "get out of the tourist traps and go to a GOOD restaurant" it kinda made me feel some sort of way! 😂😂😂😂. I Want Coffee!!! That short walk from the Pearl district to the traditional tourist part is ONLY 2 miles. And, it is 100 degrees until 9pm this time of year. Our son flew in when on leave and the Pearl was top on the list of to dos. I love that you did a tour guide of the other parts of San Antonio. Great job!
