Yeah that archetype pearl has plenty of mid lane power and little pop on the backend. The EFFECT seems to be more continuous down the lanes.

I'm speed dom straighter player, luv my Harsh Reality game 1 @8 at arrows, game 2/3 when I need to move left 3-4 boards feet n target, the HR to smooth but more in the oil, thinkin DNA Coil or Effect. Which reads midlane earlier? Need the quick move of a cleaner piece but getting my ball to slow down hard for me when I get @ 12-15 at arrows. 17ishmph 300ish rev

Ok just 10 min in and I'm convinced to hold out until next week for the effect over the DNA Coil. I'm also going to replace my extreme envy with the DV8 Hater. Will be a super strong bag with the Hater, Widow 3.0 and Effect
I know you said you knocked the polish off the DNA, was the Effect still at box finish?
Ok finished....Still Sold on the Effect. Even though I tend to play a little straigher; however, I'm right at the line of matched/speed dominant, so I think it'll serve me better in the long run if I get to the point of higher revs and playing more from left vs center right.
All of the equipment have been touched with 2k pad.
@@TheHype-Bowling just a light scuff to knock the polish off or actually resurfaced to 2k? I’m guessing the former, which is what I usually do to give the pearl a little teeth in the mid

The effect is definitely a ball down. Especially with each ball at box surface

THE ARCETYPE CORE IS HORRIBLE... THE ENTIRE LINE OF ARCHETYPE BOWLING BALLS SHOULD BE CANCELLED. I HAVE SEEN MORE TRACK ARCHETYPE BALLS RETURNED IN THE PAST 1.5 YEARS THAN ANY OTHER BALL...THE PEARL VERSION IS A SHIT SHOW. THE BALL READS IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES... AND OVERREACTS WHEN IT SHOULDNT. ITS A GARBAGE CORE AND BALL CONCEPT.
I disagree. The solid sure was not my favorite, but the new hybrid is really good. You may just need to tweak it a bit.
Always so polite when posting a comment that contradicts the previous statement. Well the facts are... The archetype line is under performing in sales... so it really doesn't matter what we think I suppose... sales dicates everything... and the ball doesn't sell. So my tester they sent me.. out of box felt the same but cleaner... clunky. The ball is poorly designed from a gyrometric harmonics perspective. The core from inception was meant to perform at a higher rate than it does... but in RND they spent too much and needed a return... The initial rush of solid purchases was met by a enthusiasm and hype... When the players got the product on the lanes... it failed to be anything useful for the majority of conditions. Significant surface changes to the ball needed to be made in order to salvage any value from a consumers perspective.
The Hybrid will fail the same way the solid did... because the core is absolute rubbish. Now its a ball that slides further and is rubbish. @@TheHype-Bowling
We’ve the pros use a number of times. If you watch BowlTV some people are liking the ball. But everyone is allowed their opinion. I’m no scientist so I will not comment on the cores design from inception being bad. But I do believe some balls just don’t roll well for people, but there will be others that love it. Doesn’t make it bad for the world but just may just be a little different from what was expected. But I hope you enjoyed the. Video.
