I guessing this is the video that gets you to 100K subs. There are so many Ag channels out there but few make it to this landmark. And what is so great is that you have achieved it with 100% wholesome, high integrity, high quality, cheesy click bait free content. Congratulations Kate.
Thank you for your wonderful kindness and amazing encouragement Mr. Walsh!!! I appreciate the huge compliment!!!! You made my day! I am very, very honored and grateful to have so many incredible subscribers!!!!!
It is great to see the Pheasant chicks and other wildlife in your fields! You farmers are great conservationists! I am a sportsman who appreciates nature and enjoys harvesting game occasionally. Thank you for being stewards of the land for all of us!
I'm not a framer, however, having been a mechanic years ago, when operating any piece of equipment or vehicle, I am very intuned to smells, vibrations and sounds. That 'early detection' awareness can really save u a lot of time & money!
Excellent attention to your surroundings, even tho this time it may have been nothing, dirt in a bearing, causing the smell, better to speak up than to burn a half million dollar machine down. How do you get any sweeter than this young lady?! Always a spirit helper...even if only viewing for a few minutes. I like in the videos when poppa gets into Kate a bit while teaching her how to shift those tri-axles. Lol. She just lowers those eye lids...Garfield style...and takes it all so well! ❤️ Ida been shakin as a kid! Lol Thank you Ms Katie-Bug!...always a joy to stop by and watch ya on here! May, Jesus, get all the Glory! The Gospel of John, sooner than later, Reader.❤️
It is good to see you have a nice lunch after working so hard Kate! Something else to watch for, equipment fires! Your job is interesting but not easy.
Operating a combine is a big responsibility so great to see your hard work and dedication rewarded with seeing pheasants and wildlife (and great lunch breaks). Great harvest team and video!
Thank you for sharing these great videos and teaching me about farming. I love learning about farming from you and your Father. Cherish these moments Katy. With your family and love the birds. Y'all do an excellent job and thanks for feeding America
I have got to stop watching Kate's Ag videos or I am never going to pass my Amateur Extra Class license exam next month. But I can't stop watching. Especially if she may show some baby birds. AAARRRGgghhh someone help me!
The stress of harvest with critters hiding in the swath! Great example of problem solving using facts and historical experiences to avoid problems, caution is best when considering the potential for disaster in equipment and the dry conditions of Montana farming! Another excellent Kate's Ag production, thank you!!
Yes, I agree!!!! I am very careful to watch out for them because the babies get scared and don't know what to do! Thank you for your great comment Mr. Soper!
Always enjoy seeing the wildlife you find while working the fields. That beautiful sky, sun, horizon closing scene makes me envious of those wide open spaces. Well done!
hehehe...."try not to gobble them up", your Dad is hilarious!! Even with the crop situation...absolutely hilarious! I know I'm supposed to learn something every week watching but I'm just having too much fun! Thank you Kate, it's always interesting, and definitely entertaining!
Hi Kate, I have a Pheasant who jumps on my fence and takes seed from the bird feeder. Meanwhile the mom and young collect from the ground the seeds he drops. I’m lucky to see this in my garden most mornings this summer. Respect to your lunch provider. 👍😋
Hello Kate thanks for another wonderful video from y'all. You amaze me and others I'm sure of your caring for wildlife. Truly a wonder of farming and everything that goes with it.
Ah pheasants. I remember swathing hay fields and we would see pheasant nests in the hay so we would stop and leave a block of uncut hay around the nests so they could hatch out. One year we had a field with 3 or 4 nests so it looks pretty strange with the uncut sections sticking up but it's worth it to keep the populations up. Great work Kate.
Yes that is what we do and so there are wheat swaths left in the field. It is really important to save the pheasants!!! Thank you for your terrific story and amazing kindness Mr. Knight!
🇺🇸HI KATE!🙋The pheasants are cute. It's good to see that nothing was damaged. Just always be careful and keep an eye (and nose) out for possible problems. You seem to be on top of things though. Good job!👍. OK,....BYE!👋🇺🇸
Your dad did a very important thing there by reminding you what to do in case of a fire. I've been through an equipment fire on an IH 1206 and two that almost became fires on a Vermeer 605H hay baler. When you have a fire happening, it is too late to plan like your dad was with you today. If you are prepared for an emergency like that it oftentimes does not turn out to be as bad as it would otherwise. When the 1206 caught fire, we got it out on our own and then my dad, my uncle and I took the whole thing apart and fixed it from top to bottom. A little side trivia on that tractor. When we were working on it we had the injector pump rebuilt and the hour meter on it showed that it had 25,600 hours. That was eight years ago and we've put another 2500-3000 hours on it. Anyways, be careful. Those dry conditions are good for starting fires.
Thank you for your fantastic story and amazing kindness Mr. Austin! A fire is very dangerous and scary! I'm glad it worked out okay for your family!!!!!!
We have a lot of quil as you guys call pheasants. They started appearing last year after we had a big forest fire. It hit a lot of there nest but it cleared a lot of the land so it allowed for the population to grow because they had more land to run around
Great video Kate. Nice to see all the wildlife. Glad to see nothing was on fire. Take care and have a blessed day and get some rest so you'll be ready for tomorrow.
Better safe than sorry when something is burning. If I can't find the source, I use a thermal imager. I have a stand-alone unit and one that attaches to my phone. Both units are FLIR brand units.
Love watching you in the tracker and with beautiful smile and how inquisitive your mind is when you see animals Nice seeing uncut seems even when your tell you some did was wrong or did make your video so more real an original and easy to relate to Your lovely girl Kate 🙂
I think I’m in Gods country here in IL. It’s so green and lush it hurts one’s eyes. But my gosh Montana is so beautiful. Kate, New York State, it’s very amazing too. All your dad is missing is a 6 shooter and cowboy hat. The guy is legend.
Mrs. Aviva Vicarri here. You must be, and will be rewarded for doing the right things. You will be missy! No ifs, ands or buts about it. Your father is doing the right things, but as with my own husband who is doing very well as a father, rest assured I’m the reason for his success. 🤪 I’m sure you mother is as well. Trying to compete with the sense of humor in this family is very exhausting for me, but it comes so naturally for them. I hope I haven’t failed miserably. Let your fans know what you need. It’s not for you, it’s healing for us. Avi
Hi Mrs. Vicarri!!! Thank you for your incredible kindness and amazing encouragement! I don't really need anything, honestly!! LOL I really like Cornell University so far! Mom stayed in the area for over a week to make sure everything was ok! I honestly can't think of one thing I need, and I appreciate your asking. You totally made my day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We try and teach our kids that despite our sheer perfection and infallibility (attempt at Vicarri humor), they may at times see us as imperfect. That will always be the case for every person on earth. However, we are all invited to walk through out our lives with someone who really is perfect. I was raised in the Holy Land and spent my childhood imagining that I was Walking in His exact footsteps. At times I probably was in reality. Of course you need and want for nothing. But even without such wonderful parents, it’s still possible to experience that Kate. Their is very much we give our own children, but what we really want them to get from us is the concept of humility, extensive capabilities, and the ability to be happy and joyous no matter what they are facing in life. I know the bitter sweetness of farming. Helping Tom put bags over his boots so he could go up and say prayers with the kids and cuddle with them before going back out in to the field, then hearing him snoring, pulling off his boots and putting the covers over him, and going out and filling the combine before shutting it down for the night. We didn’t have a grain system for quite awhile, and I’m never mastered the augers and grain bins by myself. You are what we try to be, and it’s nice to see people with the same values. We are grateful that you are sharing your journey.
Awesome video again Kate thanks, there you are watching baby Pheasants in the field, today i followed 8 baby Partridges down a lane it's great to see them take care out there Kate and stay safe 👍 😊 .
Great advice on Fire Safety given by your Dad.. Stop, Drop and Roll . If it's a bearing is going bad or getting hot, normally it's a metal burning smell. A hot belt or a rubbing tire will give you the burning rubber smell. It' priceless when Darcy is passing his wisdom onto Austin. Did Austin get a bowl of soup with that hat.
hahaha! Thank you for your hilarious comment and wonderful kindness Mr. Cleary! I think I said stop, drop and roll once when mom burned dinner and the smoke alarms went off! hahaha! Darcy is amazing!
The presence of Pheasants is pleasant if you are a peasant. One thing with checking for hot equipment is an IR (infra Red) thermometer. These are much cheaper now and you can even get a cellphone attachment to convert your phone to measure Thermal Images and temperatures. Good for finding heat sources and hot bearings. Stay safe and share your smile.
Thanks for the harvest update Kate! When something is going wrong, I always seem to smell the smoke when make corners. Always have a plan where to go if it catches fire. Grandad lost a combine while in corn many years ago. He drove it through a fence into a neighbor’s pasture and had to jump out of it.
Thank you for your great story and amazing kindness! I'm glad your Grandad was okay! Those fires are so dangerous!!!!! A plan is super important!!!! It's interesting because the corners are where I smelled the smoke too!!!
You did good Kate it’s better safe than sad Kiddo! I would have looked into it too. I also think it’s probably a good idea to have water fire extinguishers that are refillable on every Combine, Tractor, and Truck. Each Grain Cart as well. They are available everywhere and are silver with black. Refillable with water. 😏🖖🏼🇺🇸❤️
It was super dangerous, Kate.. Three of my class mates' fathers had only one arm and a classmate had lost a finger. I think they failed to respect the machinery's moving parts and the song Little Things Mean a lot didn't mean enough to them as it did for you when you did everything right when you suspected smoke. Impressive. As you know farming is one of our most dangerous occupations.
Oh that is sad too! Yes I agree with you Mr. Perley! Respect for the machinery is super important and you can never be too careful!!!!! Farming is dangerous!
Yummy lunch, and good story drama - saving the birdies and investigating the smoke smell. You really see the scale of the combine at 8:05. Good stuff Kate.
Hello nice work on watching out for the pheasants. Your Dad is smart if you think your burning get the machine off the field into a wet area then check it out. Best is to follow the emergency plans. Have a great day.
Please when traveling put your seatbelt on. A guy had a header fall off and when the combine hit the header he went through the window (he made a full recovery). Also you make fantastic and educational videos!!
KATIE just understand your DAD is an Old school fool. He knows things others don't he'll do things others won't..Meaning he knows his business..never get down about farming it's a hard way of life but FUN!
hahahaha! Dad and I have a lot of fun together. He is super serious about safety and I really appreciate that!!! Thank you for your fantastic comment and wonderful kindness!!!
The environmentalists think farmers are destroying the planet and eco systems but I think most farmers are like you, they would like to try and save the baby pheasants. I think I subscribed to your channel during harvest last year and a year has passed and you are at harvest again
Thank you for your fantastic comment and amazing kindness!!! Farmers really do care and I hope more people learn that because it is really important!!!
it pays to be alert Kate. good that you are ready and on the job as they say. boy you sure had some nice weather...and may you and your family prosper🌾🌱👍
Kate! Thanks for the wonderful video! You are the Great person! So beautiful! Best regards to your father! I can't wait to next ones! Good luck! Have a nice day!
Hi, Kate. This is a very interesting video. I like very much how your dad teach you what you must know. The lunch, and specially the watermelon, looks great. This videos bring me memories, nostalgic of the past. We did the same for lunch but we took time for a 30 min nap. At 3 pm is so hot that the machines work under really bad conditions.
I really like your enthusiasm over seeing pheasants and other wild life. We received some good rain here in North Central Texas and was thinking of you all in Montana. Bless you young Lady.
Thank you for your great story and amazing kindness Mr. Davis! I am very happy to hear you have rain. We got a bit the other night but we sure need a lot more!
Baby pheasants are cute little critters. Used to chase baby Plovers through fields when row cultivating for the first time. The plants were small enough to see them. Little fluffballs with legs. I'd stop sometimes to herd them over to a area I'd already cultivated. Oh, and she who smelt it dealt.😄 OK, Ok I'll stop typing.
Kate on behalf of the pheasants I want to thank you for saving them, I don't know if they agree with that, they looked pretty terrified, what I do know is to never mess with mother nature, mother in laws and pheasants momma's.
0:40 Oh there's a little bird! I've seen quite a few little birds today which makes me very happy! 1:40 Oh my goodness there are pheasants! There's a baby pheasant! 1:47 HUGE Kate smile like on a Christmas morning! Oh my gosh there are baby pheasants, they are so cute!!! Oh my gosh I don't know if you can see them, they went back into the wheat swath? 2:04 Oh I can see them right there, oh my gosh, so cute look at him awwwwah! , that's the mom I think? But that might be a baby too? Kate sure LOVES her pheasants! I get a kick out of Kate's joy and enthusiasm every time that she's adoring them! It's like watching an adorable innocent child opening Christmas presents! (You can picture me smiling with joy like Ralphie's dad had in the movie "A Christmas story" as he watches Ralphie opening his "Red Ryder Official Range model air rifle"!) Awwwah! So adorable! :-) Kate is so cute while enjoying the cuteness of her animals! Thank you Kate for filming some of your happiest most joyful moments for us and sharing them! You've made my day and likely the day of so many others out there! :-) I've said it before, the Stevens family sure knows how to do lunch and dinner in the field right!!!!
There are also a lot of pheasants in the Kuban))) that's because we rarely hunt them, even though they have very tasty and not fatty meat)) they are already brazenly sitting on equipment during field work and just riding))😁
hahahha! Thank you for your great story Mr. Ivanov! We are trying to rebuild our pheasant population because too many people have over-hunted them here.
@@KatesAg Call me Sergey) don't use my last name, I'm only 25 years old)) When people call me by my last name, I feel like an old man, and it's not difficult to restore the pheasant population, it's enough not to hunt them for 2-3 years) if you, of course, don't have their natural enemies there, some predatory animals) then it will be a little more difficult to restore the population)🙂
Pheasants meets Deere again, lol😁. Good to see nothing is burning! Guess, that would be a disaster. Great video, Kate! God bless you. Greetings from Bavaria.
Hi Kate. Very good video. You are on top of everything going on around you. It's not a easy job to keep everything going at the same time. You are a top hand. Your dad must be very proud of you. I love watching your videos there always great. Thank you have a wonderful day.

Good job letting the pheasants grow up. They make the most delicious soup.
hahaha! Thank you for your hilarious comment Mr. Wollman! We just try to keep them alive because they are so over-hunted around here.
Glad you didn't run over the baby pheasant. As always, very informative. Glad nothing caught fire.

hahaha! Thank you for your hilarious comment and wonderful kindness Mr. Cleary! I think I said stop, drop and roll once when mom burned dinner and the smoke alarms went off! hahaha! Darcy is amazing!
LMAO 🤣 😂 Kate.. that’s dangerous waters to Stop, Drop and Roll on your moms dinner. Hopefully you dad joined in on the dramatics.
Thank you for sharing that action-packed video, cute Baby Pheasant!!!!! 😊🐥😍
Thank you for your terrific comment and wonderful kindness Mr. G!!
@@KatesAg You're very welcome, cute Baby Pheasant!!! 💛❤🧡
LOL!! oh, thank you for the terrific information and amazing kindness Mr. Finucane!!! I will let Dad know!!!!
99.2K subscribers.....We're thinking Dad needs to throw you a big party @100K.
hahaha! Thank you for your amazing kindness and suggestion Mr. Radley!!!!! I will let Dad know!!
You all live in such a beautiful part of our great country. Those sunsets are amazing.
Thank you for your wonderful kindness and great comment Mr. Hazen!
Tasty lunch! Thanks for taking care not to hurt the pheasants!
Thank you for your wonderful kindness and great comment! Lunch was delicious!
Thank you for your wonderful kindness!!!!!
I get a big thrill watching your videos Kate. Seems you have a great teacher in your dad!!
I totally agree Mr. Caffrey! Dad is a great teacher!!! Thank you for your wonderful kindness!!!

Merci pour votre énorme compliment et votre incroyable gentillesse M. Catherine !!!
Yummy lunch, and good story drama - saving the birdies and investigating the smoke smell. You really see the scale of the combine at 8:05. Good stuff Kate.
Thank you for your amazing kindness and great feedback!!!!!!!

Thank you for your amazing kindness Mr. Caffrey!!!!! I love the wildlife too!!!!
Hello nice work on watching out for the pheasants. Your Dad is smart if you think your burning get the machine off the field into a wet area then check it out. Best is to follow the emergency plans. Have a great day.
Thank you for your great advice and wonderful kindness Mr. Morrison!
Please when traveling put your seatbelt on. A guy had a header fall off and when the combine hit the header he went through the window (he made a full recovery). Also you make fantastic and educational videos!!
Thank you for your great advice and amazing kindness! You made my day!
It's cool you love animals. I swerve for squirrels. Lol🐿️🐿️🐿️🐿️

Good work kate. The best food of the summer season is sandwich and watermelon is amazing. Last year I planted watermelon in my field. :))
Thank you for your wonderful kindness and great comment MR. Tas!!!!!! I love watermelon!
Thank you for your wonderful kindness and great story!!! Lunch really was delicious!
Catherine say.s HI. She hopes you are having as good a time at school as she does. She likes how you handled the pheasants and smoke.
Say hello to Catherine and I am very happy she is enjoying school. I love Cornell too!
Baby pheasants are cute little critters.
Used to chase baby Plovers through fields when row cultivating for the first time. The plants were small enough to see them. Little fluffballs with legs. I'd stop sometimes to herd them over to a area I'd already cultivated.
Oh, and she who smelt it dealt.😄 OK, Ok I'll stop typing.
hahhaa! Thank you for your great and hilarious story Mr. Hagenbuch!
That's wonderful ❤ Kate ❤
Thank you for your kindness Mr. Nikkerdar!
Kate on behalf of the pheasants I want to thank you for saving them, I don't know if they agree with that, they looked pretty terrified, what I do know is to never mess with mother nature, mother in laws and pheasants momma's.
hahahaha! Thank you for your fantastic and hilarious comment Mr. Gonzonlez!!!! I appreciate your amazing kindness!!!! I just love the pheasants!
Great video young lady. Happy to see your channel growing. The Pheasants were nice to see.
Thank you for your great encouragement and wonderful kindness!!!!! I love seeing the pheasants too!
I've said it before, the Stevens family sure knows how to do lunch and dinner in the field right!!!!
Thank you for your great comment and amazing kindness Mr. Fudd!!!!! You made my day!
You are GREAT Kate, in any situation. Have a beautiful weekend ❤️😊
Thank you for your huge compliment and amazing kindness Mr. Gagliadrone!
@@KatesAg My pleasure Miss Kate 😊
Greetings from Bavaria.
hahahaha! Thank you for your hilarious comment and amazing kindness Mr. Al!!!! Hello from Montana!
