To clarify, Cid doesnt realise that the money etc is actually his. He is still convinced the girls are just pretending like him because they are friends.... 🤣 P.s. did you notice that Alexia was trying to copy Shadows sword style? I only just noticed myself in this scene! 😊
It's not copying his style because they have the same style.. That's why previously she said "it's like I'm fighting myself" or in other translations "it's like I'm looking in a mirror". The "fencer ordinaire" or her fencing style, which Cid says he likes because he is the same, is ordinary fencing. That's why in episode 5 when they overlaid her fencing style with Shadow's I said it was important because they were the same. And at the end of episode 5 she says to Cid (after mentioning that he liked her style) that she's began to like her fencing style instead of hating it (because she was envious of Iris) hence - this episode. Just wanted to clarify the connection because a lot of people disregard that moment in ep. 5 of the overlay lol :s
Nu is a badass. I wish we got more of her tbh. I like that they subtly made one of Cid's random guesses wrong for once and that he's not the almighty prophet lol where he can accidentally throw a dagger at a spot on a map and point out where his sister is all the time.
You boys are in for a treat. This show is hilarious with every progressing episode. The seiyuu have done a phenomenal job. I commend them for delivering such outrageous dialogues without laughing (though i suppose bts would be filled with bloopers)
The background is the main big story with a lot of depth and development while the main stuff in front is the comedy and psychotic MC, thats Eminence in Shadow and i love it! BTW even names are most of the time great jokes, small example Cid Kagenou (Kage=shadow). 9:49 is another example.

also, the light he shared with them was actually magical power. kinda like what they absorbed when he cured them from the curse.
