To tell you the truth, I always felt like Roberta deserved every penny she got. My main concern is that I’m pretty sure Danielle let Garrick divorce her and give her nothing. And now it looks like Garrick’s whole “sister” facade is gone, as he clearly doesn’t care that this new woman wants Danielle out.
I’m not gonna fault Bert for bailing.

I'm glad Merrifields new side piece took a page from Bert's book. The new Davis wife really doesn't seem on board but they were completely upfront with what they were expecting and she knew they wanted another 2-3 wives.
I won't fault Bert for getting her money. If the Merrifields are dumb enough to hand it over she was just smart enough to understand how to spend it.
Nikki, did you hear of Garrison passing today?? I feel for Janelle and Gabe found him. 😢
main take aways, The Merrifields, its still clear Dannielle really never wanted to do this type of lifestyle and was just allowing the man to lead the family, they're also stupid for basically creating the same situation in the same place with the new side chick - The Davis' feel very much and clearly like this is all very much just for the husbands self gratification and "hoe-ish" needs, it also feels like its very much a numbers game for them and doesnt really matter about the relationships on a deep level, much like polygamists who do it for religion and think the more they get the higher they are - The sherwoods, where do I start, they clearly started looking into this lifestyle so the wife could explore her need to be with women, the husband opened the door, pretty much knew that was the reason and now he's mad about it - The Salahuddin's I can't figure that out, it seems like they're saying its somewhat for religion but also because the husband needs an abundance of attention and "support", putting the man I guess on some podium as he's the most important

Nick is still unmployed as frick and someday when his daughter has career day or someone asks her what he daddy does she's going to have to say,"My daddy studies while my mommies cook for him,they spend time in the Boom Boom Room and he goes out with other ladies after he asks them for money." (I'm debating whether Nick is a pimp,a hoe or just a lazy frick who figured out how to find the dumbest women on the planet and was successful.)

YES. I realized yesterday that this show was back, watched it, and the entire time the thought running through my head was, "Nikki and John are going to have a field day with this crap, I can't wait to watch their video!" I thought the giant bed family would be the weirdest part of the episode, and then we got hit with the Merrifields and just..... WHAT?!
Season 1 there was a bunch of drama with Page, Bernie, and whoever their potential 2nd was (can't remember her name). She basically accused Bernie of s**ual harassment/SA. I can't remember all of the details, but shit went down at the reunion.

As a lesbian, I can tell you it’s just like straight dating. Sounds like she wants someone on the side not a throuple. When you are bisexual it’s difficult to find two partners comfortable with that type of arrangement and you often have to “pick” which gender you are most attracted to. I chose female and therefore say I’m lesbian and not bi. Seems like she chose male and might be struggling with that decision.
She basically wants an affair her husband know about while he takes care of the kids.
Oh my goodness did you hear about Garrison Brown. I’m shocked.

Now you two know I’m a true fan. I really tried to watch this show, but it’s so gross and cringy I just cannot! However, I will watch your recaps.
The "Davis" women being married is sketchy. I think it's so they are trapped. If one wants out then the other would align with Nick and make sure they don't take anything since he can't marry all four of them and protect assets that he didn't earn.
The funny thing to me is if more then one of them get pissed off at Nick what is he going to do if they say,"We want you gone."? Stay? He's not paying the mortgage,he probably has nothing in his name and Jennifer can always put Vera in daycare and sue his butt for child support. You know? If she wanted a brainwashed melon head.

Know I'm late to the party but I had to comment about the couple Shane and Ashley. Shane's first wife left him for a woman. That was explained by his sister. Now his wife Ashley does the same by wanting a relationship with a woman. Now he has had cancer and is in remission. But stress isn't great for his health. But can you imagine? He was so sad about his first relationship breaking up and his second (Ashley) is out to find a woman and is currently pregnant!! How does she think it's going to go? She's planning to be with a woman when Shane dies from cancer. But he is in remission! Ugh!

You guys have drug me into yet another insane reality franchise! I started watching you recap sister wives, but now I’m watching 90 day fiancé and I just watched SSW for the first time. I’m traumatized and feel germy by association. This makes 90 days feel adjusted.

After seeing TLC’s teaser of Garrick’s Holy Spirit analogy 🤢 and their compilation footage of the Merrifield and Davis family, my curiosity has grown. Not enough to watch the show, but enough to tune in here and enjoy your recaps. Thank you…I’m interested to see which trains derail this season.

I heard that TLC gave Gerrick and Danielle Roberta's payment and that was the money they gave her. She deserved to get all the money, imo.
