    It's said that a good actor can read the phone book and still hold the audience's attention. In the same manner, I could watch you paint absolutely anything. Also, your voice is healing 💛🧡🤎

      Thank you so much Helene! As much as I love vibrant pinks, I am finding myself drawn more and more into the fall palette every year 🧡 I hope you have a beautiful weekend!

    It was nice to see you paint a regular sketchbook page versus a whole painting. I cannot wait to see you paint the adorable squirrel in your sketchbook.

    Love watching you paint and your excellent tutorials. I would like to see you paint a snowy scene before the real stuff starts to fly.

      Thank you Amanda 😊 I was a little unsure of the acorn - still trying to figure out how to do those scales! I might try a golden brown version next time 🧡

    Love everything about this video - the subjects, the colours, the description of the process, just everything! I look forward to your videos so much - I'm just a beginner and your work is so inspiring. I would love to know with each layer when you are working wet on wet or wet on dry, I find this extremely helpful as someone just starting out and eager to learn. Thankyou so much for your videos.

      Omg you read my mind ☺️ I am a little embarrassed about how much of that show (and everything related to it) I watch and talk about daily - my boys are NOT into it at all hehe and I didn’t want to force a topic on my lovely Patreon community. But a dragon would actually be an EXCELLENT subject for a gouache tutorial or iridescent watercolor tutorial! Thank you for encouraging me 😊

    This was so fun. I can’t wait to try it. I have enjoyed all the videos so far and the tutorials on Patreon. I am learning so much. On another topic, this isn’t a fall theme, but if you still like painting birds the Roseate Spoonbill is gorgeous and might be fun to paint someday.

    This is fascinating. I just finished an acorn project for my intermediate students and my marker technique and color selection is remarkably similar to yours here. Love watching your fine brush work too!

    • @AnnaBucciarelli
      @AnnaBucciarelli  2 місяці тому

      Oh thats so cool 😊🧡- I used to love markers and need to explore them at some point again. Which paper would you recommend for copics ?

    • @AmyShulke
      @AmyShulke 2 місяці тому

      @@AnnaBucciarelli If you’re blending obsessed, X-Press It Blending Card is the best. But if you’re layering the color more like watercolor, smooth Bristol Board holds up better. Strathmore 300 or 400 is what I use most often. Raven was on 300 smooth.

    • @AmyShulke
      @AmyShulke 2 місяці тому

      @@AnnaBucciarelli let me ask you a question in return… what is the smoothest hot press watercolor paper you’ve tried? Anything almost too smooth for painting? I’m still searching for a special-effects paper for markers and I think it needs to be high cotton content.

    👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 This composition makes me want to walk among the trees; picking up pine cones, acorns and holly berries. Pine cones were always difficult for me to color. The information you provided makes since. I would love to see this type composition done with natural, traditional Christmas elements. For example, a holly leaf with berries, mistletoe with greenish white berries as they are seen in leafless winter trees, natural creamy white to pink-green poinsettias with red/maroon bracts, Denmark's nobilis branches before they become wreaths, or those pretty blue juniper berries paired with a white Christmas Rose (don't know it's actual name but it isn't really a rose). There's also a red plastic looking plant with a long yellow - green stem in the center; I have no ideal what it is called. With all of these choices and the ones you know, I'm sure there should be more than enough options. Thank you for asking. You are always sincerely gracious and kind.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

    • @AnnaBucciarelli
      @AnnaBucciarelli  2 місяці тому +1

      Thank you so much Beatrice for your kind words! I think maybe the red plant is called poinsettia- those come in red, green and sometimes lovely purple. I will definitely do a similar but holiday / winter themed medley in my sketchbook soon 💙

      The botanical name for a Christmas Rose is a Hellebore hope that is helpful.

    Have a real subject at hand - no problem- I have pine cones laying around all year - come fall I collect acorns for the caps 😊just one of those habits since I’m a kid 🤷‍♀️- in Austria there were always chestnuts on the ground to collect- I don’t see them here so much - thanks 👩‍🎨💕👍I’ll have fun playing around with all the different colors - and wow your acorn and all look so real- mine won’t look like that - but I have fun regardless

    • @AnnaBucciarelli

      Same here - I’ve always had loads of chestnuts and pinecones on my table as a kid - for crafts and sketch references (I was born in Eastern Europe - close to where you are relatively- we have gorgeous forests there !😊🧡

      @@AnnaBucciarelli nice - I am Austrian raised in Germany- - every vacation I spent within Aunts and Grandparents in Austria- I’m sure you made animals with toothpicks and chestnuts 😉- now I live in the US and visit my mother95 in Austria every year while I can - I started watercolor after my Dad passed away and I found his old set of tiny Schminke and regular Rembrandt set . I’m happy to find wonderful artists like you that so generous share their talents- thanks

    The white dots on the red cap look almost like clouds circling a globe- probably not the intended effect, but cool nonetheless. I love the color combinations.
