It's time to set DIFFERENT LIMITS for people fishing from the bank, and boats fishing with LIVESCOPE. Boats with LIVESCOPE need a TOTAL BOAT LIMIT, like in Florida! I don't want to hurt the poor souls who fish from the bank, the the bastards that clean out the beds with LIVESCOPE need some DIFFERENT LIMITS!
This is the dumbest take I have ever heard. Bluegill are such a populated fish, that no matter how many you take out, you will not have a dent on the population. Educate yourself before you say dumb shit like this. You realize how many eggs bluegill lay when they spawn right? There's no realistic amount of damage you can do with the amount of eggs bluegill lay.
I have 2 eradicators, a 7⁶ul-t and a 7⁹ul-s. They are awesome rods for the money considering it's strictly JDM. The 7⁹ is my favorite rated .1-7grams. Those who haven't tried JDM products are truly missing out. Have you heard/tried the JDM Nikko hellgrammite? They have a distributor in USA. I highly recommend the 3", everything smashes that bait.
I spend my money on equipment that brings me pleasure to own and use. For me aesthetics is an important part of the enjoyment I get from fishing. So it should catch fish and look real good doing it. IMHO
Hey Victor when I got into fly fishing 30 years ago not knowing much about it selected a red and black fly as that was an awesome spinner for vreek cutthroat trout. My friends call it the Bob Fly. Caught many trout and bass on it. You're new lake looks like my home lakes. You had good fishing there today. My new lake was all baf algied up with grass clippings algie but it's almost gone so that unbelievable report will be here tomorrow with any luck. Confidence is the most important aspect of fishing. Like when I lose a 5lb.rainbow don't give it a second thought but say to myself just catch another and often I do maybe a few more.
Careful man I broke my eradicator doing that exact same thing lol. It actually snapped where your hook keeper is at. That seemed like a good day of fishing though. Unfortunately that is how bluegills are fished majority of the places. I know it sounds weird but old retired people and guides are the ones who do the most damage to a bluegill population. People hate on the weekend angler but they are only out there once a week or two. The retired people and guides are out there everyday hammering them. I know this because I've worked at Cabelas for about 3 years and we had a particular old man who we dubbed panfish P. He would be out there every day catching lord knows how many man limits. Its only 25 a person in WI, dnr rarely ever checks unless its walleye season. The mentality of most people I've talked to is if I don't keep it someone else will tomorrow so let it be me...
I have seen exactly what you re talking about. There was one guide on my favorite small lake in IL, but that guy had a 3-4 old retirees with him every day! When the lake is small and has only so many good areas for spawning, its very easy to wipe them out. The guy i saw on this lake on the same day was not a guide, but he took his two kids with him, who were on their iphone all day, but he got them with him just so he can load the cooler all the way up... Guides are a huge problem because they know every bed and every brush in the lake and they are out for blood on every trip because people pay them money
you have good eye. The way i am lifting the fish, the tip cannot snap because there is no weight on the dip. If it snaps, it will snap around the hook keeper, just like u said, because thats the center of the pressure
@@ifishcatfish Oh I meant when you casted into a tree and you did that one first snap to try to unhook it. I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to fish a spot. First cast I hooked a tree and jerked it, broke my rod. That was the only rod I had that day. If I hit a tree now I just break the line.
@@torment6369 may seem like a jerk but i don't put much weight in that. But these gills are maybe 3/4 pound and im lifting them in the boat with this super thin rod.. I avoid stress on the tip, but it can still snap in front of the handle...
our limit here in North Carolina is 30 , when people see a game warden . But anytime else its all you can carry !!!!!!!!!!!!! No matter the size . And yes I mean any size !!!!!!! eyes and a tail is going home !!!!!!!

I don't think they are going at all : ). I have two and wouldn't sell even one, even for 500$. It's funny because i do NOT think its worth 500 in terms of performance and stuff, but... for me it is special... I want to take it out when i am 65 one day and still fish it from time to time..
if you get lucky and get a quiet vanford... it compares very well. But these reels have a lot of noises out of the box... which is not a defect and doesn't affect fishing but its just not as quiet..
Have you tried the shimano cardiff nx spinning rod? I juat bought one from japan pro shop will be here in novembe. 5'4 gonna pair up with the marivel 1000
Randy is telling me 10" gills used to be common on that lake. But people with livescope go and clean them out. I saw a huge catfish style boat there, with livescope, and two kids sitting and playing on their phones.. Their father parked on a point and was filling a cooler. I am convinced he brought the kids JUST SO HE CAN TAKE 60 Bluegill in the cooler, i hope he chokes on them. His boat costs over $50,000 with the electronics; i know he wasnt 'trying to put food on the table' like everyone says.
@@ifishcatfish People are selfish and I bet anything your right about why his kids were there. No one should take any of them while their on their beds. Makes no sense.
your not gona like this but.. -- the line twist part -- that is user error. It always is, no matter what line, what rod or what reel. I would try to find the source of line twist. Maybe the way u put the line on the spool, or maybe u cast some spinning lures that twist your line..

Yup hate it its not true fishing in my mind
The Eradicator and Vanford look awesome together.
That rod, reel and line with the matching jig is everything to me man. Thats what builds confidence in a angler in my book
It doesnt get more beautiful of a set up than that.
I love that color scheme. Red. Eradicator and the Vanquish 2023 for me
Looked like an action packed outing! Scenery looked very relaxing. Perhaps I am guilty of matching up combos🤣
thats like beyond matching, but real nice looking red and black looks good
Such a beautiful location and amazing set up! Black and Red are my favorite combo.
Nice video, Victor. Can't get enough of those bluegills.
What a bunch of tanks!! Wish they were that size on my lake! Nicely done.
That lake looks very nice to fish. Secluded and full or nature.
Soon as I turn the video on it see what looks like heaven lol okay back to the footage now
That is such a beautiful setup, beautiful!
Thank you!

Yeah, i made a couple of videos with that bait. Also i use NIKKO all the tie for float fishing..

yup. Unless its OK to buy expensive but ugly car...

if only people would stop loading the coolers with these beautiful fish..

how do you choose a setup for your fishing trip? do you have rotation for each or you just grab what you like? 😁

There are no more Eradicators. What is the next Eradicator? Pls advise

no, never heard of NX
Your spot looks like the exact place someone else used for a video.
which spot? There are 12 spots in this video. You mean this lake?
Those gills are so beautiful. Shame they get cleaned out like they do.

What’s the name of that line and what pound is it?
Varivas... something something Polyester, 2.3 lb...
The only better looking vanford combo is a zodias
