You need to use the email id on Xbox as well as on Microsoft store

Do Xbox accounts and Microsoft Store accounts need to be the same to play Activision games? My two accounts are different from each other. And the account I have with GamePass is the account entered in the Microsoft Store and I cannot enter that account into my Xbox account.

For those wondering on how to fix this issue with a shared xbox game pass account:
Just make sure your xbox app and Microsoft store are logged into the same account, even if it's NOT the account WITH the game pass, it will still work. You can still play in your other xbox/Microsoft account, even if it doesn't have the game pass. Make sure you sign out and sign in like the video, and you'll be good.
