I worked at McDonald's when the Step It was being given out. I heard that a kid got burned by one & thats why they got discontinued. If people wanted, they could bring their step it back in exchange for a bag of sliced apples😬 I only saw one person bring theirs back

That's what my mom did. I'm glad she cared about her children's health, but it was kind of hilarious that she acted like all the other fast food restauraunts were any healthier than McDonalds. 😭
