Have been lucky enough to hang with Richard while he was in Oz and have recently tried the enduro range, they are beautiful foils in every way, I’m sold !!
Love your (Gwen and you) reviews and positive vibes. The AFS foils and foil system look sweet and I hear some raving respons from local riders. For now I'm happy with my Sabfoil gear (wish the smaller Razor Pro's would have a bit more top speed), but because you guys have used both brands: how would you compare the AFS Enduro foils against Sabfoil front wings? What line is most comparable, the Razor Pro?
The use of tubercles (bumps) combined with winglets is to optimize low end, stability and control even in the most disturbed and aerated waters. You have maximum confidence to dynamically “tip out” carve, whilst keeping full control. This is a design by Laurent Borgna, an incredible foil designer

I like the tubercles. They make hydrodynamic sense to me.
Thanks for the video. Great work. Would you swap from using Sabfoil Razor Pro 975 to an Enduro 900? Is it worth the change? Regards.

Talking about lightweight, what is the weight of the whole 1300 Enduro set for example?
1300 Enduro with short fuse, 38 HA stab and 75 UHM weighs 3.4 kg
What is the explanation of the very different looking front edge. What is the physics behind?

@@DamienLeroyUA-cam THX.... I need to study this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tubercle_effect 😊
Looks like somebody copied Takuma. Unless, this is their follow up company, after insolvency.
The foil designer Laurent Borgna, that created this design, has been with AFS for a few years now.
@ merci. Then they use the same design.
@ProfessorVolland they use the same designer 😅
@@Baptiste_LTakuma is down in Europe. They stopped.
Cause this is the same designer
