I started carnivore as soon as I heard about it over 2 years ago. Got rid of pre-diabetic labs and ibs as well as neuropathy. I am satisfied. Thank you!
Rib Eyes, called scotch fillet here in OZ, are great but a Chuck Steak, well tenderised with garlic/salt/rosemary sometimes tastes meatier. Don't forget yummy fatty lamb forequarters either. And I'm sure we all love bacon !
Looking back, I would have given my child a bottle of bone broth instead of juice along with tiny bits of fatty meats and eggs. Yep, gotta eat fatty meats, brats and ribeye. Eating enough fat means I sleep through the night and not waking up at 3 am.
I eat carnivore the past 1.5 years and I definitely feel good, have labs that prove I’m healthy at 59 years old. It made huge improvements to my gut issues, along with decreased aches/pains. Cholesterol is through the roof, indicating I’m a lean mass hyper responder which is no concern to me since triglycerides are good. It’s even helped my binge eating, not perfectly but so much better than ever in my life.

I'm now 73, have been CARNIVORE for 819 days and my health has improved way beyond my greatest expectations. I don't need a study to convince me that carnivore, high fat, water is the BEST food for the human body. I'm no longer morbidly obese, no joint pain, no gas or bloating. ALL fatty MEAT is the proper human diet. If I crave anything, it's more FAT. I'M team tenderloin but I eat every cut of any animal, fish or fowl!❤❤❤
I feel great on carnivore. In fact, I feel better on carnivore than I ever have and I’m a senior. Over the years, I tried all kinds of things to rein in my thyroid issues and lose weight. Keto helped a lot but carnivore is a game changer. Admittedly Christmas has been a challenge with all the traditional food around. My kitchen was the center for all things holiday. It’s interesting that I could resist desserts but did partake in some sweet potatoes, some sliced apple on salad and nuts. More coffee than usual was needed to resist a few treats. I love the holidays but was happy the family came in last night to help eat leftovers so we can get back to our normal meat and eggs. I need to get back at it so I still fit in the smaller size clothes that I received for Christmas gifts. 😊
I keep thinking about Carnivore for maybe like a 3 month challenge. I just feel like i might get depressed not bitting into a jalapeño,Serrano, banana yellow, habanero peppers. Even cilantro ,onion , tomato, avocado with some pepper in it. I guess unless i do the challenge i won't know if I'd miss them. Otherwise ketovore - keto suits me better. But i just might try January 1st. 3 months Carnivore. If i do wish me luck. Happy New Year everyone.
So I have been almost full carnivore for over a year now. Though I still eat, romaine, lettuce, avocados, cucumbers, and zucchini (Small evening salad), Other than that, it’s been beef, lamb, eggs, sardines, bacon, butter ghee and tallow. It has alleviated severe osteoarthritis pain in my spine, my bones still move all over the place, but I have significantly less pain daily. After 20 years of suffering, I’ll take 10 years of this diet, even if it kills me, because I feel so good on it. One problem I have to solve, I seem to be histamine intolerant. I have had to add DOA, And liposomal vitamin C, Betaine HCL (To increase stomach acid, hopefully killing histamines before reaching my small intestine)… My rash is getting better but it is taking time. Vitamin C deficiency developed. I think over this last year because I am not 100% carnivore maybe? The other problem is America’s meats are full of histamines, everything is old and not fresh. I am watching my histamine intake, salt, only no more spices, frozen meat cooked quickly, and no more bacon 🥓 smh… I have energy all day long like he described. I feel great just trying to solve this one issue….
I like any meat or fish, but rib eye is a favorite! The Carnivore diet has helped me deal with gout to the extent of no longer needing regular daily medicine. Huge help!
I can agree. Did lion diet for a month. Felt great and lost weight. People told me I was glowing. Whatever that meant. Unfortunately ran into meat aversion. Didn’t know how to overcome it and fell into old habits hard. Trying to get back to it now but won’t do lion’s diet. Suggestions always welcomed. Thank you
Developing a meat aversion on the Lion Diet can happen, especially if it’s your sole food source for an extended period. Try varying your preparation methods (grilling, slow-cooking, air-frying) or using different cuts to make it more appealing. Taking a short break or reintroducing small amounts of other low-reactivity foods like bone broth, lamb, or fish might also help reset your palate. If it persists, consulting a healthcare professional or dietitian experienced in elimination diets may be beneficial to address any underlying issues.
@@jj1741 After 6 months on cnvr I was bored with meat so I added 3 strawberries and a date every day for lunch which balanced my blood sugar and helped overcome meat boredom. How long I need to do this I don't know. But lost 14kg so far.
Eat fish, lamb, chicken, elk. They don't taste like beef and you need to add lots of fat. I had a brief meat aversion and ate just fat for a few days and the aversion went away. Be sure you are eating enough saturated fat.
When you get bored of one thing, do something else. It's not meat aversion. It's boredom. The lion leaves the rest for the scavengers and gets a fresh animal. Do the same thing! Forget about meals & recipes & timings & macros... Eat what you like, same thing every day. If you get averse, find something else. If nothing appeals to me I eat sour cream until something bloodied appeals again. We have generations of social conditioning around meals and food. Social rules & regulations. Conformity is scary to let go of. The lion will eat whatever it catches. But only eat what it needs... That's how you do the lion diet! Does that make sense?
Did you use spices with your meat? Everybody creates aversion to spicies soon. Thats why people crave for different foods. It's just aversion to spicies.
My husband has joined me on carnivore (mostly). He doesn't like beef but dies like Bison. I have been trying to get more fat into his diet. He is heavy on protein but not getting in enough fat. I cook with butter lard ghee or tallow. Unlike me, he won't just eat some butter by itself. He does eat eggs, lamb, sardines, mackerel, salmon, kippers, cream cheese, chicken thighs and wings.
I’m so glad to hear about folks that can do carnivore and get so many benefits. I was doing ketovore and lost 16 pounds, and was feeling pretty good. I’m 73. Then I wound up in the ER with an inflamed mesentery (something gut related) and my kidney function went down from 53 (eating a highly ultra processed diet) to 42 on ketovore for 6 weeks. I have Polycystic Kidney Disease and started ketovore in Stage 3a and wound up at 3b. Very depressed about the whole thing. I’d read so many good experiences about carnivore and keto. I’m still doing a moderate keto diet. I’ll see what happens.
Hospital food is dreadful! And in hospital you have to be careful to avoid being diagnosed with an eating disorder if you try being carnivore! I hope you can try carnivore for a while... Lots of fresh salmon, fatty ground beef & lamb. Eggs & butter.
I'm 75. I was on the Carnivore diet for 5 months. I lost twenty-five pounds, went off all medication including thyroid and high blood pressure, and had lots of energy. This last month, I started adding food with carbs back in. I have gained ten pounds. I've started back on my carnivore diet.
I had some beautiful lamb shanks last night. I've been loving ribeye and chuck steak. I have a lot of butter with the chuck steak. I had a beautiful tomahawk steak on Christmas day. It was beautiful. I couldn't just choose one cut of meat. I think next week I'll buy some leg of lamb. 😊❤
I’ve been doing an animal based diet, carnivore basically with some cheese thrown in on rare occasions. I’ve been doing this for 7 months and lost 64 lbs. I'm fairly scientific minded, I've got a life now I'm not food obsessed. I'm thinking of getting such a project going. Just collecting data. Someone encourage me! I've got nothing better to do.
My favorite meat is ground chuck, with butter. My fav way to eat eggs is with a dollop of sour cream to create either an omelet or a waffle, with Truly brand butter. So yummy, fluffy, and Truly butter is cleaner than KerryGold.
I did all meat earlier this year, i went off for the holidays about a month ago and gained 20lbs back and feel like absolute crap. Loss of energy and other medical issues are coming back. Carnivore is the only way to live. Starting again on Jan 1 for easy tracking purposes. did 6 months last time and will shoot for a year this time. Good luck all-Adam
My favorite is a close tie between short ribs and 73/27 ground beef. Rib eye a close 2nd(if my butcher cuts it) I find normal store cut steaks are too thin and not enough fat. I have stage 4 and most of my colon is gone. My body craves fat. I also eat half a pound of bacon every morning
11 months of Carnivore and my blood pressure is now normal and diabetes has been reversed. Weight loss is just the icing on the cake. And, yes, I feel best when eating rib eye.

Hi Tony, I admire you, but sadly I have to say that I tried carnivores for about 2 yeas. Before this I was on keto for over 18 years. Here are the latest results of my blood test. Total cholesterol went up to the roof 426, LDL 330, Triglycerides went from 53 to 133, HDL went up from 68 to only 72. Total carb daily less than 30. No surgery drinks or cake or candy. A1C always remains at 5.3 or 5.4. the only thing I added to my diet was 3 cups of coffee a day. That is it. These numbers are very alarming and I know when I visit my physician, she will definitely prescribe me staten. So I am thinking going back to my Keto again. I don't know what did I do wrong. Thx.
You did nothing wrong. Same happened to me. Dr said statin. I said "I'm going to deal with it through dietary changes" I also said " new research indicates cholesterol is good and that I shouldn't worry about it. Stress definitely kills!" Don't have another blood test for a year! Go by how you feel. And do more research on the new studies on cholesterol...
I love an occasional ribeye and some slow cooker roast, but my favorite is a hamburger patty. I feel my best when I include fatty fish two or three times a week. I make and keep fish patties in the freezer. They’re super easy to make and can be cooked from frozen.
I get extremists like vegans, but just can’t comprehend gluttons who wallow in SAD super processed food. It’s so sad, and so hard for many to avoid. Meat is demonized, and more expensive every day. The poor sheeple.
My Cardiologist just told me to get off the Carnivore/Keto lifestyles. He used to live the Keto lifestyle & encouraged me to stay with it previously. Now, he’s changed course because his Cholesterol was high. My HDL was 248 and he said it’s my diet. Wants me to go more vegetarian with minimal Meats. I REALLY do not want to do that as I feel great on Carnivore. Any thoughts on where ones cholesterol should be or when it’s concerning?
really screwed up my carnivore diet. I did well for about six months then Thanksgiving and Christmas came. I get a lot of requests for my pies and cookies so I baked them. Big mistake. When you’re baking, you gotta taste things. Now I feel like crap Back on the carnivore wagon, I will feel good again soon

Due to a "mini stroke" a year and a half ago, I have a little (not major) problem swallowing steak. Hamburger is fine and I have been fully carnivore for 3 weeks now. Is 90/10 hamburger good for this or do I need to adjust to a higher fat content?
Thank you for this video, Dr. Hampton! Carnivore is the only way of eating for me. Fatty ribeye is my favorite, but it has to be a rare treat for now because of budgetary restrictions. I eat lots of ground beef with some butter on the side. I also love bacon. 😊

Dr. Tony. Would you make a video about how to properly do carnivore? I have heard so many variations including the different meats to use and stay away from. It seems so much propaganda has crept into it, like most everything else. Maybe detailing what was all on the diet they ate in the study? Type of meats? Seasonings? Eggs? Butter, tallow or something else? TIA.
It's really not difficult. Eat meat eggs seafood butter. As much as you want as often as you want cooked however you want. Eat when you hungry. Don't when you aren't. There is no one way to do it. Explore to find what you like. Don't watch too many different channels. Don't be afraid of fat. Worrying doesn't help. Just Eat animal foods.

LOL It's crazy ! I ate one slice of Xmas cake, ended up eating 3, then polished off a pack of Xmas Pies straight from the Freezer. 2 years Ketovore thrown away in one evening lmao. Happy to say I was back on the cow the following day.
I started carnivore as soon as I heard about it over 2 years ago. Got rid of pre-diabetic labs and ibs as well as neuropathy. I am satisfied. Thank you!
Your channel is such a great resource for natural healing enthusiasts! Keep up the amazing work-looking forward to your next video

Rib Eyes, called scotch fillet here in OZ, are great but a Chuck Steak, well tenderised with garlic/salt/rosemary sometimes tastes meatier. Don't forget yummy fatty lamb forequarters either. And I'm sure we all love bacon !
Thanks! Wonderful to hear about this study.
And really good to have in my arsenal of information to share.
Glad it was helpful!
Looking back, I would have given my child a bottle of bone broth instead of juice along with tiny bits of fatty meats and eggs. Yep, gotta eat fatty meats, brats and ribeye. Eating enough fat means I sleep through the night and not waking up at 3 am.
Nice
@@mjones1122 Agreed!
I wish I had known then what I knew now. I would have done the same.
I love it. “Ribeye loving mind.” Great phrase.
❤️
Tony This is an amazing explanation of why we don't need to fear meat. Love it and will be sharing.
Thanks, Valerie for helping to spread this lesser known message

You've just confirmed everything I've discovered in the last 3+ years.
3rd year. started at 65.
❤️
I did not know this story. Thanks for sharing! I've been on a carnivore diet for 3 months and feel great!
You're so welcome! You have a whole team of carnivores walking with you
How do you get the blue search 🔎 words, please?
#Carnivore and water
Read his book "Fat of the Land". He explored for years, watched many die from scurvy on expeditions. He knew what he was talking about.
Thank you Dr. T! Information is power.
Amen
Fantastic video. Thanks Dr Hampton for everything you do ❤
I appreciate you Kerry
The next one will highlight Healing Humanity from the perspective of the French 😉
i read about the study some years ago, I've had a hard time doing carnivore people i mention it to they all have something negative to say about it but I'm sticking with it and am starting to see improvement,Thank You
Thanks for sharing!
I'M team tenderloin but I eat every cut of any animal, fish or fowl!❤❤❤
disgusting
Wonderful testimonial
I keep thinking about Carnivore for maybe like a 3 month challenge. I just feel like i might get depressed not bitting into a jalapeño,Serrano, banana yellow, habanero peppers. Even cilantro ,onion , tomato, avocado with some pepper in it. I guess unless i do the challenge i won't know if I'd miss them. Otherwise ketovore - keto suits me better. But i just might try January 1st. 3 months Carnivore. If i do wish me luck. Happy New Year everyone.
I'm going to try it for 2 months !!
Come on, we've got this!! January to June 2025 for me. 🎉❤❤❤❤
I was planning on starting January 1st and do 3 months Carnivore also. I'm excited to see the results!!! Best Wishes every one.🐮
Huge help!
Same here. I started keto two years ago and within 2 months the gout disappeared never to return.
Favorite cut: it appears to be called roast here in Japan. It tastes great. Not able to afford wagyu, but looking forward to trying it someday
Ty for the info Dr tony!
My pleasure
Yes! Thanks for sharing this story.
You bet!
Nice
Thanks for sharing your story
I also do intermittent fasting, 18/6
Hospital food is dreadful!
And in hospital you have to be careful to avoid being diagnosed with an eating disorder if you try being carnivore!
I hope you can try carnivore for a while...
Lots of fresh salmon, fatty ground beef & lamb. Eggs & butter.
@eleanor5117 there is a comment here from a nephrologist coach partita or something like that... have a look - it would be a good connection for you.
coachjcpartida - he has a channel.
A few comments after yours.
lion diet!!! 🙌
Yes
Thank you for the insight!
Great vlog, thank you Dr Hampton.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm 75. I was on the Carnivore diet for 5 months. I lost twenty-five pounds, went off all medication including thyroid and high blood pressure, and had lots of energy. This last month, I started adding food with carbs back in. I have gained ten pounds. I've started back on my carnivore diet.
Ribeye or chuck-eye steak is the best add some bacon, butter and farm fresh eggs. Good stuff!!!
Too many health problems to list fixed- IBS, arthritis, sleep apnea and etc all gone. I can’t wait to see how much I lose by the end of doing this for a year! Great videos!
I reversed CKD 4 with a high Fat Carnivore Nutrition and drinking water only in 8 months and no atrophy.
OMAD
My dad who’s almost 80 reversed CKD 5 in 2 years idk if because of his age
I have helped 100’s of people throughout the world and they have shared their testimony on how they have reversed CKD and also metabolic disorders and autoimmune disorders.
It’s been years since I’ve been in this amazing lifestyle
I wish the nephrologist could hear more of these stories

Ok, I've been sayin, "I'm gonna start", well my next meal will be carnivore. I'm committing to it. Six months, is my goal. Had a stroke in June 2021. Was prediabetes, high triglycerides, high blood pressure, high blood sugars. I went keto and all my numbers improved. Still gotta get this weight off, though. I'm in!! Somebody respond to this message June 2025, please 😉 See y'all in June 💋
Aw man, I clicked on this hoping it was a new study 😂 Sigh, maybe one day we will get some. Thanks!
Let’s pray that Dr. Shawn Baker and others make that happen in a very new future
@DrTonyHampton Yes!
Frankly we are the study.
If every n=1 carnivore filled out a basic questionnaire we would have an epidemiological study to rival the best.
I'm fairly scientific minded, I've got a life now I'm not food obsessed. I'm thinking of getting such a project going.
Just collecting data.
Someone encourage me!
I've got nothing better to do.
HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR DOC
Thanks
You as well
Thanks Doc. Awesome information. Totally on board.
good video. I really appreciate how you reply to the comments as well so I subbed. Continued blessings, T.
I definitely appreciate you
Being a doctor is busy but this work is critical to get the message out
So, engage I must do
My favorite meat is ground chuck, with butter.
Bacon, bacon, bacon 🥓
@DrTonyHampton the other red meat
There ya go......bacon. Oh yeah! And not fake bacon. Yuck.
@barbaragaona7785 real bacon!@
Once you eat fatty meat & water for 3 months you can NEVER go back to eating a standard type diet without feeling crap.
11 months of Carnivore and my blood pressure is now normal and diabetes has been reversed. Weight loss is just the icing on the cake. And, yes, I feel best when eating rib eye.
Not surprisingly
• Meat, fish, eggs, poultry ... I read great testimonials about the carnivore diet. I must make the move to eliminate yogurt, nuts, salad and broccoli ! 😚👌
@@jamescalifornia2964 can you not keep yoghurts? We make 4 pints of it a week, it's just kefir and milk, nothing else added.
I said "I'm going to deal with it through dietary changes"
I also said " new research indicates cholesterol is good and that I shouldn't worry about it. Stress definitely kills!"
Don't have another blood test for a year!
Nice tips
Thank you, Doc. I appreciate this video 😍
Glad you enjoyed it!
A ribeye a day keeps the doctor away.
Perfectly stated
I get extremists like vegans, but just can’t comprehend gluttons who wallow in SAD super processed food. It’s so sad, and so hard for many to avoid. Meat is demonized, and more expensive every day. The poor sheeple.
I have been a Carnivore for almost two years. Never going back to garbage food.
When my first born son was borne in 1965 the first food his pediatrician had me feed him was beef
Love it
My Cardiologist just told me to get off the Carnivore/Keto lifestyles. He used to live the Keto lifestyle & encouraged me to stay with it previously.
Now, he’s changed course because his Cholesterol was high. My HDL was 248 and he said it’s my diet. Wants me to go more vegetarian with minimal
Meats.
I REALLY do not want to do that as I feel great on Carnivore.
Any thoughts on where ones cholesterol should be or when it’s concerning?
Time to re-educate your cardiologist on the latest cholesterol is good research.
Or get a new cardiologist.
Dr Philip Ovadia.
Scurvy presents itself in 3 months. You'd think there would be a mass amounts of scurvy given the number of people on carnivore.
Well done doctor. Great to see some critical thinking and real intelligence.
really screwed up my carnivore diet. I did well for about six months then Thanksgiving and Christmas came. I get a lot of requests for my pies and cookies so I baked them. Big mistake. When you’re baking, you gotta taste things.
Now I feel like crap
Back on the carnivore wagon, I will feel good again soon
My new favorite cut of meat I found at Aldi's. Split lamb breast plate, and I cook it like ribs, and I prefer it over ribeye.
We have a new Aldi’s near us and I’ll definitely give it a try
Humans are omnivores, a balanced diet is always best
BALANCED!
Doesn't exist in nature.
The supermarkets just want to balance their profit margins in their favour.
You've been sold a story & swallowed it whole.
I eat a well balanced carnivore diet & my balance has never been better.
Physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, environmentally, financially, socially...
You stick with your balance till you lose it.
Team Ribeye as well! Just started Carnivore, coming from Keto almost two years. We will see what happens.
Hoping it goes well
9 months and loving it!

Carnivore is the only way of eating for me! I also love ribeye -- but since money is tight right now, it has to be a rare treat. I eat lots of ground beef with butter on the side. Thank you for sharing this interesting study! It provides a convincing argument that the Carnivore way of eating is NOT a "fad diet"!
Due to a "mini stroke" a year and a half ago, I have a little (not major) problem swallowing steak. Hamburger is fine and I have been fully carnivore for 3 weeks now. Is 90/10 hamburger good for this or do I need to adjust to a higher fat content?
@@davebuterbaugh4054 did you have the stroke after becoming a carnivore?
I would unless you are somehow eating a stick of butter every day.
@@chimneycakefactory5375 He's been carnivore for three weeks now. He had a stroke before it.
Much more fat. Eggs are good too if you like them, easy to swallow lightly scrambled with plenty of butter.
Thank you for this video, Dr. Hampton! Carnivore is the only way of eating for me. Fatty ribeye is my favorite, but it has to be a rare treat for now because of budgetary restrictions. I eat lots of ground beef with some butter on the side. I also love bacon. 😊
Favorite: Ribeye…
Next best: Chuck Eye… it’s like Ribeye’s baby brother, whose only dream in life is to be like his big brother. Lol
Just much cheaper. lol
Affordability is always an issue so thanks for the tip
Chuck eye, eh? I'll have to look into that. Thanks!
@@lloydhlavac6807… absolutely… chuck eye/steak/roast is similar to rib eye/steak/roast in marbling, but much kinder to the pockets. Lol
Dr.
Going cnvr overnight changed my taste for everything and my perspective on food. Age 77 and lost 14kg so far. No meds. I eat mainly fatty lamb as it hasn't lived long enough to be corrupted. 👍
Ribeye cooked like prime rib roast is my favorite.
Sounds delicious
EXCELLENT video Dr. Hampton!! This is just so simple and well explained. I'm also TEAM RIBEYE!! See you in a couple of weeks at our Chicago Meetup!!
Thanks! You too!
And yes, I’ll be there
Ribeye for me! Thanks for telling us about this study Dr. Hampton.
Any time!
Good video.
The comments are making me hungry. Thanks for the video
68 year old here fully recovered after a severe metabolic dysfunction with my favorite. A pound of grass fed hamburger 85/15 every day seemed to do the trick. MAHA. Try it. Bet you’re gonna like it!
Good stuff
Well, they were showing the benefits of being fat adapted in ketosis which is our natural state. Most people will do better on carnivore however.
In the 1920s the standard of care for diabetes was still an all meat and fat diet.
Thank you Dr. Hampton! Right now I'm loving Tri Tip. It's nice and fatty and less expensive than rib eye. And I love ground beef. I eat half a pound of 80/20 ground beef every morning. I feel great.
all meats with fat are my favourite.
Team ribeye here! No one can believe I’m 66 years young!
You are definitely wearing an animal based diet well
Definitely Team Ribeye as well! Although a chuck roast cooked in a pressure cooker or a crock pot slow cooker is equally as tasty 👍🏼
