We get reviewed quarterly and our numbers have increased. (This isn’t for every company but for ours it has). 3) what is the cure to poverty? Wealth and prosperity! Working from home is perfectly fine, if you are able to put in place the right system to make people accountable. If you can't do that, it means your organization sucks and the employees will fuck you even if they work on site.
I think in years to come it will be hard to get a plumber or electrician and there will be no houses built as no young person is learning a trade and these jobs are better paid than the ones they end up in, does not make sense. And years ago there where technical colleges to learn trades but they where all shut down. I know a tiler who is in his 50's turning down lots of work as he can't manage with the amount of jobs so there is a big demand but not enough training to do it
When I worked for Pimlico during Covid, , we had to keep testing kits in the van and send proof of clear results into HR, we had to wear nasks and latex gloves, we were flat out busy too.
