I recently had a 0 - 8 game with bamboo in S+ and felt pretty embarassed. My aim was completely off and I decided that was enough Splatoon for the day.
Thankfully I never had to share my switch online account with a younger sibling. That’s definitely what happened here bc that guy would be hard stuck in C- if they had their own online account.
This reminds me of when Rainmaker first came out in Splatoon 1. Literally EVERYONE was taking the Rainmaker straight to their base rather than the enemy base. It really doesn't hurt to read the rules even if you've never played the mode before.
By looking at his outfit, Imma assume he mainly stays in Turf War and that was probably his first time being in Rank since he's wearing stuff mainly from the catalog

im so sorry you had to deal with that. i feel like they’re trolling since they know how to booyah on a booyah bomb.. i had a somewhat similar experience in splat zones once. my teammate would just squid bag and throw themselves off the map the whole it was sad and frustrating
I see a player new to Clam Blitz and doesn't know the rules, and past 3:30 throwing the game out of frustration (maybe they were studying the map at 3:03?)
My theory is that their older sibling let them play on their switch and considering that this is clam blitz the older sibling might’ve not cared for this mode so they let them play.

I feel like they’re unintentionally throwing as they don’t seem to understand Clam Bliz/ Splatoon in general so it’s probably a newer player. Plus they keep dying so I feel like if they were trying to sabotage our team they woulda thrown the clams off the map and or spammed “This way” or “Booyah” like I’ve seen before. Or some sibling gave them the controller which is another theory.
Abd i thought when i play clams in X rank i am bad he didn’t get a single kill with the literal killer dualie and i play tetra so i die a lot but i never get less than 3 kills this person blew my mind
What rank is this? I'm asking because I hear so many people saying it's too easy for people who are less skilled at the game to get into higher rankings.
This was S+ but it was also Anarchy Open so that's probably how I was able to run into them. I don't think they were trolling otherwise I feel like they would have thrown the power clam off the map and wouldn't have died so much. They probably never played Clams, or even Splatoon before so they were most likely just confused.

I think they got upset they got killed in the beginning and took it out on their team. They pushed forward correctly until they got sniped.
