Overall a very good deal. The E9 locos that CP had passed into VIA Rail hands. I never saw them running but they sat behind the CP Ogden shops in Calgary for a few years in VIA blue and yellow livery.

I got my mystery box back in January and it came with the E8A/B set, tank car, switch machine, lanyard, Nestle candy bar (not the Rapido one) and the Christmas ornament

Those looks great for Canadian orders I'm from the states and bought two boxes as soon the day they announced in the newsletter. In one box had a Union Pacific E8 A and B set both in sound in great condition! One freight car and the usual others. Then had another box with a Southern E8 with some low couplers on both ends and a few loose details and two freight cars with others. So, amazingly in two boxes 3 locomotives with sound, 3 freight cars and two Impalas in blue, two uncouplers, 2 switch machines, 2 bell ornaments and 2 chocolates. Maybe there could be an EP-5 or a steam engine with sound in one of them.

I'm a little late to the party, because I just started seeing videos of these a couple weeks ago. Mine is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, and I'm actually HOPING I get an E8 in it, because one of the lines I run is CP (and VIA) in that era. My luck, I'll get a CN GP38 or something. :P
