Hi! Enjoy my summer night routine with all the animals!! 😇 INSTAGRAM: @_jessedrent WEBSITE & SHOP: www.jessedrent.com www.agrobs.de www.drystep-shop.nl
You treat the horses with as much attention and affection as if they were you own babies! You boys dedicate your lives to your animals, to be admired 😍😍
Such a wonderful, caring animal dad!! The love all your pets have for you is so obvious. I loved seeing this. Please post more. And Machos pedestal is the best 💕👍
Yes Jesse!! This is almost my same routine. Even the extra cuddles. Sometimes it's so hard to leave them for the night. My two always get some carrots or apples for a late night snack. Loved seeing how you do things. Thanks for sharing. This was great!!! 🤗🤗
Your compassion and love for the horses is so apparent, you really are a wonderful young man to be admired. Everything you do is so natural and the horses adore you. Wonderful to see.
The weather there looks exactly like over here in England 😕 wet and crap! Wheres summer gone 😫.. great video jesse! Loving the zebra fly rug! Very popular over here to 😆 she looks so cute in it 😊
@@hollywill2226 I am yard manager on a full livery yard, this is similar to our daily routine, plus my uncle and brother are in the household cavalry, one as a farrier the second as an outrider. I am lucky enough to have been to the mews multiple times
Very peaceful routine. I also enjoy feeding time 😊. Love Macho’s pedestal and how he put his pail upright for the mash. Omg he’s way to smart and cute 💞
Jesse. I just started watching you. You have no idea how watching you has restored my faith in humans. Your love for the animals says how truly your capicity for love is. Appreciate you so much. Agape love.
at our barn we put the buckets (all the same color) in order of the stables! for example we start at one end, and put them in all in the order row. so it’s super easy to keep track of and not confuse!
When I worked at a ranch in Cali last sept/oct, the buckets had no names on them, only the food bins. I had to know all the names of the 6 horses I fed and which stall was theirs by heart within the first week to know which bucket went into which stall. What I would do was to put the buckets on top of each other in the right stal order, but mistakes were made lmao. Also, none of them ate the same thing as they were all owned by different people, so I felt kinda bad when I did a few mix ups at the beginning of my job there. But after about 2/3 weeks, I knew preciselty what each of the 18 horses I fed daily ate in the morning and in the evening without even thinking about it! It was so fun and rewarding too (to be clear, there were 6 horses in stalls, 5 in paddocks, 1 I had to get from her pasture to feed everyday, and 6 "oldies" also in a pasture that I fed individually in feeding bags. It was a lot of work lmao!)
You take such excellent care of all of your animals, it sets the highest standard! The love and care is beyond comparison! I enjoy all of your videos. I love the pedestal in Macho's stall. Thank you for showing that. I have the same problem with my Shetland pony and am going to find her a nice pedestal so she can also see out. What a great idea! I want to watch video one more time there is so much in it. You mentioned Andorra needing weight. I had this problem with my senior mare. The vet told me to give her Vit E and a general multi vitamin with Vit A in it. I did that and also added some second cut to her hay and over time she has really blossomed out nicely. Many horses are deficient in Vit E and Vit A (especially seniors) and i think this helped my mare and especially adding the second cut hay in with her first cut as a mix. Your horses are on grass all day and fed so well, they probably have no vitamin deficiencies. The other thing you could check her teeth if she needs to have them done. I never noticed Andorra thin so I hope it is not too serious. Also, like you, I give my senior mare hay stretcher mash with warm water and also her grain mixed in and her vitamins. The mash makes it so much easier for her to eat. She can sometimes have an issue with choke once in a while but with her mash, everything goes down nice and easy. The hay stretcher mash has also helped her put on weight and she eats it so well and no problems with choke. I cannot say enough the care you give these horses is beyond compare. I notice the same thing, all my horses want a head rub after their fly masks are removed. Funny, I do the same thing esp with my older mare and give her extra grooming time at night to spend time with her while she eats. I LOVE how you do your night routine. I really enjoyed this video!!!!!
When I die and get reincarnated I want to come back as one of your horses! It's lovely to see how much time and effort you put into your creatures. Other countries who aren't as caring should take note, this is how it should be done 👍😁
Well, I have been feeding incorrectly for forever. We have always put the horses up before feeding, your way is way smarter. This will help end the edginess of their waiting in their stalls. Love it. Thanks for sharing this routine.
I hadn’t seen this post. I enjoyed this very much. Thank you. Feeding was my bro’s job so I never asked about the brands used. Yeah, mash and hay(we grew/baled our own) but not the sources.
In Norway now there is light all day and night, almost all over the contry 😂✌ There is light till midnight and appers at 2am again, here where I live. Woho.
Have you ever thought of bringing in a rescue horse from World Horse Welfare or some other charity where you could bring awareness to their cause and perhaps that would boost their donations? I know I would love to see you train and rehabilitate a horse with your caring style and with the amazing resources you have. You could always sell the horse after maybe one of your fans would buy. I think it would be great content for your channel too. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm watching this with my 15 year old standard breed poodles on my bed with me...they are brother & sister rescues from a breeder who could not sell them..they were not "perfect".... they are to me. 🐩🐩
I'm assuming your feeding bran as the mash? Be careful, bran is high in phosphorus, and will disrupt the amount of calcium the horses uptake from their diets. Less calcium being absorbed means if your horse is in work, their bones aren't getting the amount they need to become strong, so the horses system strips it from the body to send it elsewhere. That's when you'll get stress fractures in the legs. I'm also sure I saw quick soak sugar beet? High in fibre, which will help with runny dung.
I couldnt rest or do anything until my pups were taken care of and loved on. Even with my parents dog I cant not take care of his every need. I'm a slave to animals. They are the only ones besides God that will literally put me to my knees in happiness. It's a treasured momment when spent with any animal.

Yeah, I only had two and would mix up the feed. I had yo get different color for one. Usually the mix up occurred if I started the scoops then left before I finished to answer the phone or something. I also had opened all the bins then closed the feed as I went so I knew how far along I had gotten. Sigh. Thank you for the blog. More please

Around 11 or 12 at night? Jesse WHEN DO YOU SLEEP? 😂
Abigail Cathcart lol but I’m ur first reply :o and I sleep at 1:00
Also depending on person, some people only need about 6 hours of sleep. So if you'd want to get up at 8 am, he could go to sleep at 2 am and be fine 😂
@@taranhartell2459 nah, everyone needs 7-9 hours, less then 7 on a daily basis is never good
@@Rebster Some people can actually function fine on 6 without any problems, i can't force my body to sleep longer than 6 hours but what ever 😂
At this point I think they both are zombies
I like that voiceover instead of talking while doing the stuff you want to show.
Not only are you an exquisite rider....you care for your horses and all your animals in a way that's so beautiful!
Your heart is so good!!
Omg Macho having a pedestal so he can look outside is the CUTEST!!!
