Jesse, the next time you and Matt have issues with your washing machine the small little tube to the right of the filter you unscrewed from the washer, is the drain tube. If you pull the drain tube stopper off, you can easily drain all the water left in the washing machine out into a pan, without water going all over the floor. After you empty the drain hose, then you can unscrew the washing machine filter. Hope this helps! :)

Growing up (America/Midwest), Dad used to grow alfalfa. Cutting, baling to be sold for large feed lots. Love that grassy green smell. Lots of memories.

Okay, I’m new to the channel and will herein admit had an immediate flash of negative attitude regarding your repairs (I was raised on a farm by a perfectionist construction foreman father AND brother). Then, when you fell through the fence, I totally giggled out loud with the kinder realization YOU ARE TRYING!! And not only trying, you’re succeeding. Maybe, here and there it’s not perfect, but with just like anything, practice makes perfect.
Congratulations, gentlemen, on such a beautiful property and success all around!!
PS, as a kid, one of my chores was taking care of our chickens. Your chicken coop is the stuff of dreams for every chicken out there! And btw, their manure is awesome, free fertilizer for your flower beds and lawns. (Fyi, it’s usually VERY strong/potent and a little goes a loooong way!)

I love your pretty green horse home. As Matt will remember here in Oz it gets very dry and while a sunburnt country can be appealing nothing beats green fields and pretty buildings.

I have been watching Jesse videos for several years now and I'm pleased to see him get the recognition he so richly deserves, he is a very talented horseman, and is a very handsome young man with the most amazing blue eyes I've ever seen, in fact I think, with his love of animals and his very sweet personality heaven must be missing an angel. 😄

I got a HayGain some months ago, it really does a great job. My horse got COBD and had problems with breathing and now since I got the haygain it was getting better and better. I would recommend it if your horse has breathing-problems too. It is better to fight against the root cause then against the symptoms :)

Jesse you should look up how to empty a washing machine. there is a little hose with which you can empty out most of the water with more control than with the big opening. I can imagine the smell, yikes! Love your videos around your property you twO are very lucky to be able to afford living there - and you know that!

You showed us all this wonderful work that you did to make the stables so much cleaner incorporating ease of access for both humans & horses (& it all looks fantabulous!) but you didn't conclude for us the outcome of the washing machine or the drain pipes? lol Was it just too darn "messy" ? Or what was it really, . . . .

The washing machine cleaning when clogged. Open the little piece of plumbing on the right of the the big one you opened. Turn the rubber down, take the plug away. You'll empty just the water in a less messy way. Then open the big one and take away hairs etc. It's cleaner that way.

On the washing machine beside the 'screw' part that comes out there is a little hose. You can pull that out and unplug it and drain the water into a bowl. It's slow and kinda grosse, but then it saves the lake on the floor when you open up the screw plug. :)
