Ripley : "Well, somebody's gonna have to go out there. Take a portable terminal, go out there and patch in manually." Hudson : "Oh yeah, sure! With those things runnin' around? You can count me out!" Bishop : "I'll go. I mean, I'm the only one qualified to remote-pilot the ship anyway." Hudson : "Yeah right, man, Bishop should go!"
this soundtrack was composed in very short time ,horner was not satisfied with the outcome, though he got nominated for oscar...#miss you sir, rest in peace:(
I love how well this track matches the Atmospheric Processor section. When I heard the clanging during Ripley's mad driving to escape the facility, especially after the Marines were just forced to retreat, I got chills. Probably one of my favorite moments of the movie.
"Alright sweethearts, what are we waiting for, breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps. A day in the marine corps is like a day on the farm: Every meal is a banquet. Every paycheck a fortune. Every formation a parade I LOVE the corps!"
sulacomarine origionaly, bishop was not supposed to wait. he deduced that leving newt and riply behind was the thing to do. he could then nuke the planet from orbit. but this scene was cut out and replaced.
+David McManus This is no coincidence since James Horner also made the soundtrack for Wrath of Khan, he just likes to 'recycle' certain music elements.
Or at the very least, the tracks Futile Escape and Bishop's Countdown, as both are iconic, especially Bishop's Countdown. It's not Aliens unless it has very intense action music.
7:27 just goes off and you know that shit's the best fucking climax music in any action movie ever conceived, I watched the making of way back and I remember them saying the writer of the score didn't even get to see the final scene when he wrote that...amazing!!!
Hate male? I actually loved the game. It's fun for me, and I like the fact that you don't get the powerloader but once, though it should have been against the Queen, but then again, Ripley's the only one worthy enough for that. :D
Yeah buddy, me too. The bloke responsible for score in 'Aliens: Colonial Marines' was questioned on this topic - his answer was vague (essentially, that his role includes finding the balance between giving the fans what they want & keeping his bosses happy (!) ) ..i'm going to live in hope till proven otherwise (personally, i don't know why they need a new score? tweaked a bit, to fit maybe, but there it is?..) Find out soon enough.. :)
It's not that bad. Me and my friends play it all the time and it's still fun (for us). Just because a game is frustrating, doesn't make it the "worst game ever". Why does everyone hate it so much? (Anyone may reply to this, i'm prepared to receive any hate mail that will follow this)
My sister bought the game so she let me give it a try. Its not terrible but it did not meet up to the expectations. The only parts that reall got me hyped in this game is during the sewer scene an when I was being chased by the raven. It's sad cause I feel in the back of my mind that this game had great potential that was lost. The game is like a majestic peice of art that somebody dropped (gearbox) and tried to glue it back together "poorly."
There's the bugs, clunky gameplay, lies (almost no power loader use). And worst of all, the demo has dymanic lighting, but the final game could have been released in 2009. Not to mention PC multiplayer is dead. Instead of giving us dedicated servers, they give us player hosted 'matchmaking'. Lol. And let's not forget it was delayed a further six months. For what? It's still a very generic shooter, appealing only to the most hardcore fans (I'm one of them and I'm already bored).

Should have won his first Oscar for this! Amazing!
I think he had two weeks to compose it. He couldn't stand James Cameron for years because it was so stressful.

James Horner's finest moment in music composition , he'll be missed by many, thanks again for a timeless score, 80s always!
Hudson: "How do I get out of this chicken shit outfit?"
Apone: "You secure that shit Hudson."
This upload is from 11 years ago.... hope you are still alive and well....
Epic! Rest in Peace James Horner.
"Their coming out of the walls! Their coming out of the goddamned Walls!"
"Alright sweethearts, what are we waiting for, breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps. A day in the marine corps is like a day on the farm: Every meal is a banquet. Every paycheck a fortune. Every formation a parade I LOVE the corps!"
Hey Vazquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?
"No... have YOU?"
At least the aliens don't screw each other over for a percentage

"PUNCH IT, BISHOP!!!"
sulacomarine origionaly, bishop was not supposed to wait. he deduced that leving newt and riply behind was the thing to do. he could then nuke the planet from orbit. but this scene was cut out and replaced.
Listening to this Predator, and The Thing's soundtracks while playing X-Com 2
all it's missing is the sound of pulse rifles and smart guns followed by the sound of xenomorph death shrieks
They come at night,...mostly.
7:52 ALIEN Queen Screaming in Space ❤
And Al Powell kills Karl in die hard
Sounds an awful lot like the Wrath of Khan soundtrack in places, which isn't a bad thing.
+David McManus

And Avatar sounds like this too.
James horner composed all 3
It was basically recycled from that soundtrack
Or at the very least, the tracks Futile Escape and Bishop's Countdown, as both are iconic, especially Bishop's Countdown. It's not Aliens unless it has very intense action music.

Private Hudson composed this bad ass song for the colonial marines. The ultimate bad asses!
This music wrings the sweat out of me.

7:50 Christ, how could such brilliant music go unused in a movie? Only in the weak Die Hard (1988) was it left.
It Got some Krull theme in there
"Where's Apone? WHERE'S APONE??"
The sarge is dead lets get the fuck out if here!

James Horner uses a lot of horns in his music. Coincidence? I think not.
Depends on how much you pay for it. $5 on Steam (sale) wasn't bad.
Megaklasse!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤
Nice...xxx
James Horner.
Second only to John Williams in my eyes.

It did, well some of it. :)
Yea lets hope that they do better then Gearbox.
Make that James Horner.
Affirmative.. ;)
James Horner!
Why the video is not disponibile
Was this music by Jerry Goldsmith or Joel Horner?
James Horner

I torrented the game, and I still feel like I should get money back... Such a horrible waste of a license. Now can we just forget it was ever made...
you know its bad when people don't even wanna pirate a game because its so bad
