@@CarlaRockmore1 I’ve been on the hunt for years for THE white button down shirt, but I don’t want to spend over $100. I also have a tendency to spill something on every white piece that I have. Where do you recommend looking for one?
@@beautyandfinance9993 2nd hand stores and consignment shops, check the mens section if you're looking for a flowyier look. As for stains, pretreat always with whatever you have on hand (tide stick, shout, soda water, cold water or vinegar) and then wash it asap. Ive found that most of my white pieces have survived using that method. I'm almost 40 and have managed to keep a lot of my pieces over the years, although nowhere near as much as Carla here.
Most closet tours I've seen are just a flex and make me feel a bit ick but this!? This is passion and fun and genuine joy. I LOVE IT!

Hi Carla! I'm Carlos. I don't even know how I ended in your chanel, but I thank UA-cam algorithm for it! I don't work in fashion, but I love it and like to learn about it. Your closet is awesome. It's just not a bunch of brands stamped in clothes, but a well curated wardrobe, work of years and years. Your style is quite eclectic and elegant and I love it. In some sense, it reminds me to Michelle Clapton's, the stylist of many TV shows. Gosh, I wish there were any male oriented stylist with your sense of style... Male clothes tend to be more conservative and less expressive, so I is hard to find clothes that I actually like. Anyhow, congrats for your wardrobe! 👏👏👏
I'm not a huge fashionista-- having to make too many decisions about what I wear gives me anxiety. But I must say, you are just so fun and energetic and passionate about what you're doing and what you're wearing that I watch all your videos whenever they show up in my suggested. I haven't been into fashion since I was in my 20s. I'm now 53 & have individual taste. I love shopping at 2nd hand shops & finding something noone else has. The more dated the better Comfort is my main key as I'm looking after my elderly dad. I do love watching you & other people who thrive on dressing in lovely clothes, shoes , handbags & hats. It's like you are my altered ego & you are doing what I can't. I love your good energy vibes. Your closet is amazing especially the staircase❤️❤️❤️

I just came across this video and I feel so much better now. I also love to collect clothes and have a sizable walk in closet - not nearly as substantial as yours 😉- but I do love all my clothes and it is hard to part with pieces. I’ve always felt a bit guilty for the over the top amount of jeans, jackets, boots, shoes, jewellery, etc. but now I see this in a new light…it’s a passion. And an organised one. Once upon a time I had 3 walk-in closets for my wardrobe...one was just for my coats, which I had 55 of them. Mostly all vintage that I picked up here and there from all over during my travels abroad. Over the last decade I have been working with Detachment through my Spiritual journey and gave most of my treasures away. I am much happier with out it now but some days I reeeeeally MISS my past life as a fashionista & designer and reeeeeally MISS allllllllll my "stuff". But now I can just live it again vicariously through Carla, thank you BEAUTIFUL soul 😊 !
