- In today’s vlog we check into the Universal Endless Summer Resort! There are 2 sides to the resort, Surfside and Dockside, we stayed in the Dockside. They have standard 2 queen rooms and 2 bedroom suite rooms. The standard rooms were $88 a night at the time of filming this vid and the suite was $139 a night. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, which had 3 queen beds and sleeps 6. There is one bathroom and a small kitchenette area with a table, microwave, single cup coffee maker, small sink and a beverage fridge. We give you a look at the outside of the resort, a tour of the room and a look at the lobby and eatery. We grab some dinner and dessert and then head to bed. We hope you had fun hanging out with us today! Thank you for watching and we’ll see you tomorrow with more staycation fun!

I feel like when Jackson is older and watching these vlogs he'll be really cranky to realise all the dessert eating that happened after his bedtime 😂🍩🍪🍰🧁
😄😄
LOL
That's what I thought as well! Jackson is pretty cool, though. Don't think he'll get to cranky!😊
Anyone else get Deja vu when Tim mentioned Volcano Bay and Wet N Wild after dinner? I was thinking he double loaded a clip.
Same lol! I had to double check if I had accidentally restarted it.
@@theweeklymovies2732 same!
A glitch in the matrix
Same I think they loaded double! I was like oh no a restart the vid 😂
It’s definitely a double loaded clip
The "Insert key for power" is a very European hotel thing
In Brazil as well. I thought it was "the norm", so you don't waste energy when you leave the room
Lots of hotels in Cali require as well.
Lots of hotels in Asia as well
And cruise ships. I always thought hotels should do that, brilliant!
It’s also a cruise ship thing 🚢
“Baby proof pen” Jackson was like “challenge accepted” lol
We laughed so much at your dubbed comments about how you slept the night before🤣 Thanks for the laughs! Looks like a nice affordable resort, I’d stay there 😊
Hahaha! That dubbing took me by surprise too.
I honestly cannot believe how nice that is for the cost, unreal!!! It is clean, and very up to date style wise, and the views are so cool. I will def stay there as it is a great deal. Thank you so much for sharing this.
I agree, we stayed there in December, I got a spur of the moment extra night a couple months ago, it's really nice for an unbelievable deal!
Agreed! So excited to stay there!
@@austingirl39 tell me more!
@@austingirl39 awesome! Must try when I go!
@@austingirl39 thank you❤
For the amount they charge for their rooms, i'm all in, very impressed. All I need is a tv, comfy bed, clean toilet and shower and a coffee maker and i'm all set. Plenty of families on a tighter budget would love that. Deal 👍
you will see the "insert card for power" again when you go on your Disney cruise :) it is used to save power when you are not in the room. Your cruise room lights will turn off when the card is not inserted.
Insert card for power. Had that at a hotel in Italy years ago & it took me a few minutes to figure out. LOL
all the hotels we stayed at here in europe do that! Especially in spain and greece haha
“Admittedly when I think of “surf and sand” I don’t think of gentle.” - Tim discussing face wash 😂
Tim is hysterical!! 😄
I saw your comment the moment he said that lol
Future Tim's head on Jen's body is both hilarious and terrifying
Love that you try out so many different places to stay!! So helpful for folks looking to vacation in Florida!! Love all your adventures… and Jackson adds so much to all the videos… just love him ❤️❤️❤️
I agree with you 100%! That's how I started watching all their videos. The first video I ever watched of his was back when they did the tour at All Star Movies and have been addicted ever since. I watch them daily! Jackson is just the cutest!💙💙💙💙
Omg the editing in this video LOL .. Tim's head on Jenn's body was SO funny! Good job Jenn! 👏
I love that this hotel room has 3 separate beds! That is so hard to find. I am a single mom who is usually traveling with my two teenagers (a boy and a girl), so sleeping arrangements are a constant challenge.
Also, for our three year old for hotels(Jackson is probably still a little young) we use a pop up bed tent on a cot! It gives him a private dark area and he can get in and out himself. It’s really nice for napping too because it makes it darker.
Yay!!!!! We just settled into our condo in Orlando after a fun filled day and I am looking forward to relaxing watching this video! Thank you!
My family and I spotted Tim, Jenn, and Jackson yesterday.......I called them by name, and wow they were so friendly during a brief moment. I think I may have caught them off guard as they seemed to wonder if we were acquainted already. we continued by.... little star struck.......it was a delight to run into them after being long time fans!!
I would so love to see them, hopefully someday! That is so awesome! My sis actually saw him 2 years ago at MK!
We saw them on Thursday and they are SO sweet! 🥺
At first I thought the video was "staying at the cheapest hotel in Orlando" and I was CONCERNED! 😆 Love you guys!
I was thinking the same thing! Lol!
I want to see that video
Me to lol. I thought ohhhh bed bugs
Haha... it's the Florida project all over again
Me laughing out loud when Jackson proves Jen wrong about the onion ring and the pen. 😂
Jen: Jackson I don’t think you can do that.
Jackson: Little does mommy knows!
Jackson is very smart, I have noticed he CAN do a lot of things his parents don’t think he can do. Lol
It might be baby proof but it ain't Jackson proof!
So glad you have done a more affordable option as someone travelling from the UK at peak season the deluxe resorts are really out of our reach & I'm sure for many others too. The key card/power thing is in almost all european hotels
The sharp “no” when Jenn asked Tim if the trunk opened haha
The "insert key for power" is very common. The power will turn off 1-2 minutes after you pull out your key, so you can grab your things and walk out the door with the light still on (very useful at night). I think it's a lot better than having motion sensor for AC, because you know there's a human in the room when the key is plugged in.
We saw them on our last few cruises on Royal Caribbean, as well.
This is also implemented on most cruise ships, so Tim & Jen have probably seen this on their Disney Cruise... it's just been a while since those were a thing :/
Almost all hotels in England have this. I thought it was the norm! It’s to save energy
I think Disney hotels don't have this because they use magic band as key
I saw a lot of these when I visited Europe
I’m a front desk agent at Dockside Inn & Suites and I’ve learned a lot about my own hotel watching this video lol. Thanks! Surfs up! 🤙🏼
@@linyep hi Lin! We haven’t had any complaints about the towels so I think they fixed that issue.
Looking forward to my stay at Dockside in October!
Between TIm's head on Jen's body, and the Voice Overlays, this was hilarious!! But seriously, it's made me consider Endless Summer as a viable option for my family vacation.
omg i was hoping you were going to review this hotel since im going in two weeks thank you so much this will totally help me!
This response is a great budget option. 👍🏻 stayed there twice now
I was just looking for a reasonable hotel near the theme parks and then this video popped up! Thank you for the valuable information, great video!!
I LOVED staying here! I stayed for 2 nights as a solo traveler a few months back. I had split my stay with an offsite hotel across the street. I hated the other place and it was way more expensive. Never waited more than 15 mins for a bus, even at the busiest times. Beds are also comfy
The key for the power is like on a cruise
24:41 “cant open it! Baby proof”
Jackson: “yeah right!” 😂
I like how Tim said it's weird that there's no couch in the room. It would be weird for me to stay in a hotel that did have a couch.
I agree with that. I can only afford ones with beds 🙂
Tbh the price they were paying should have given it away that theres no couch.....its a BUDGET hotel and tbh I've stayed at the hard rock universal and there isnt one their either. Maybe they are just used to suites etc now.....that comment felt a bit snobby.
@@nixcooper6993 agreed. I love how he kept saying it was pretty good for the money. To me, that hotel was amazing. That was high end in my world.
So excited to see this video! I’m staying here in October for my first universal trip! Been watching you guys religiously since January 🥰
Jenn: You can't open that pen. It's baby proof.
Jackson: 👁 👄 👁 Watch me ✨🖊✨
Geez had to cut out .. Jen is 10 steps behind every topic... can't take it.
Literally have been searching for information about these endless summer hotels and here this is, perfect timing
we just left disney today and honestly i wouldn’t have known so much without you all’s videos so thank y’all from the bottom of my mine and my moms heart for what you do!
We love the baby jogger city mini it lays almost completely back for the toddler to nap in and folds in half for packing. Thank you for all your informative videos. Our youngest daughter is your biggest fan. We are hoping to see you during our stay.
Another great video. Living vicariously through you guys. Love from Scotland xxx
FYI: A standard USB is USB-A.
my husband and i have travelled a fair bit, the key in the slot for power is pretty common all over the world, in our experience. we're always surprised when you don't have to do it. could also be that the majority of our travel is in Australia, where it seems to be in every hotel/motel that uses card locks
Thank you Jen for staying around during room tour, after all your part of the family.
Such an enjoyable video to watch. You have such a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and honest reviews. Loved the editing on this one….the next morning/night before Jen and Tim was so funny😆
"After Jackson goes to bed, we can make noise and hopefully he wont hear"
Tim and Jen: Has dessert 😆
😂😂
I had that type of key controlled electricity in Korea. Usually the front lights still work without it so you don't have to fumble around when you come home late and it's dark. It solves the problem you always have in hotels, they don't need the AC on a motion sensor. It stays on because your key is inserted and you're in the room. While conserves energy while you're out. The first time we saw it we pulled it out to go to bed and sweated the entire time! Haha.
I love all your videos they bring me so much happiness :)
loved this! always wanted to know more about endless summer! and you guys had me cracking up😂
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn when we came for our trip and we walked back and fourth to the parks everyday! Our hotel was close to this hotel so and we almost stayed here but at the time, it was a bit cheaper staying at Hilton and we had a great trip!
They have those key card power savers on cruises. It saves electricity when you are not in the room.
Thank you so much for letting me know about the Fear Street trilogy! I loved it!
Awwww!!! I loved the family-style outro!
We had the insert card for power in punta cana. I think most of the resorts are like that there. You can honestly use any card in the slot at least we could there. So a piece of paper worked. It turned the air off if it wasn’t inserted and it was hot!!
That’s a very common thing in European hotels anyway. It’s to stop people leaving lights on when leaving the room.
Yes over seas it is very common. Someplace electricity is cycled and have expensive and inexpensive times.
Well they have been on aDisney Cruise which has the same thing so not sure why she acts like it’s something completely foreign to her.
i’ve never seen that!! that’s fascinating and an amazing way to save power & not forget your card in the room!!
it's because people crank down the AC when they aren't even in the room
I stayed at a hotel in Bath, UK, that had those lights with the key insert - figured it was a way for the hotel to save on electricity. I'm sure guests accidentally leave the lights on all day while they're out and about. Seems like a reasonable way to mitigate a little wasted electricity.
Great video and good to know information about the hotel. And Hello to the Jordan Family!
The edits in the video are perfection!! You are awesome and always brighten my day!
For the price and when favoring in time you are in the room aside from going to the parks, this is a nice place for a great deal. The shuttle service to the parks is quick too.
Literally watching this video as I’m staying here 😂😂 love the place btw 😛
I stayed at Surfside with 4 friends in November 2019. It was perfect for us. Cheap and the shuttle to the parks was super convenient. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel as we spend as much time at the parks as we could, but it was very comfortable.
Thank you Tim Jen and Jackson for a great informative video for future booking! All looks so good for the cost all you really need for a theme park stay! But everyone Tim spoke about the dockside, I kept hearing him say 'The Dark Side' and wondered if the Empire had gone into the Hotel business!! Thanks again Trackers , May the Desserts be with You!!🍪🍧💖
When we stayed in Greece a couple years ago all the hotels had that key for power thing... it made it very hot when we would leave during the day and the ac wouldn't run. 😊
Me and my family almost stayed there last year, it looks beautiful and fun!! Hope you guys are having a great staycation, excited to see what you guys will do at Universal, Jenn has to ride Hagrid's 😂❤️
Absolutely love endless summer- Surfside Inn & Suites!
Love ❤️❤️❤️the bed/sleep review towards the end😂😂😂
Tim with jen's voice at the end remind me of one of the Scooby Doo live action movies, when their "souls" went to the wrong body😂
I can’t wait until one day Jackson watches these videos back and realizes- all the treats and sweets came after he went to bed! 😂. Loved that you are showing budget friendly options in the theme park areas. Would love more of that around all the parks in the Orlando area.
Been away for awhile! Glad to be back! You all look great! Jackson Is getting big, bless his heart! Love your Tesla! Thanks! Stay safe!
Thank you for your advice. I just found you this week, I appreciate all the informative information. You’re amazing.
That is a power saving technique used in Australia and Europe so that when you leave, the lights go off with you!
I was laughing so much at the dubbed over voice of Jen! loved that :D
Now THIS is how a room/resort tour should be done! Awesome video! Thanks for the great info.
Yay my request for you guys to stay here happened, great job yall!
The room key thing kept out A/C on all night which was so nice compared to the motion sensor
I can see Jackson start climbing out of crib & pack n play.
My kid would of, he climbed out before he could walk.
Both my boys were able to climb out by their first birthday!
Wow I love that resort and the room! Very cozy!
Great video. Good too see surrounding hotels 🏨 their pricing what’s offered. Like Jenn mentioned, great on property offer of early entry into Universal. Hotel looks nice. So you really DON’T have to spend lots of money for a stay in this area. Glad you guys decided to do a video like this. Very informative!! Looking forward to seeing the rest of your stay ~
Jackson’s like, this is NOT the vacation accommodations I’m used to lol 😂
Ikr
24:40
Jen: You can't open it...
Jackson: I'M ABOUT TO RUIN YOUR WHOLE CAREER
So cute, love it! 😅
We always stay at endless summer surfside when we go and we love it. It’s so clean and inviting. The staff are so friendly and helpful as well.
Wow nice room! And that food looked really good!!! We will be staying here for sure! 👍👍👍
i came to this hotel in may and it was so much fun i definitely recommend it!
Yaaay we just stayed there in June, when we went to drop my daughter off for the Dcp program 😍
Hey Y'all! Have a good evening and thanks for making my day 😊❤
loved the last 2 minutes...what a hoot!
I love that Jenn went full snob. “It’s like a dorm”
It’s not snobbish when it’s true.
You get so much more bang for your buck at universal hotels.
So so true
They are less expensive, but I found the food to be lesser quality and the walls were so thin we could hear our neighbors just having a normal conversation- to the point where we could've joined in if we were so inclined. Disney is expensive (and getting more so every day) but still has better quality than the Universal hotels, IMO.
I really enjoyed this vlog. Thank you for sharing. I'll think about staying there on my trip to Universal in February.
Thank you for doing this video of a more affordable hotel. I'm staying at the Surfside in about two weeks and am so excited!
Wow such a steal of a deal. When you guys stayed at art of animation a few weeks ago I think you said it was over $500 a night for basically the same kind of suite. Universal has it together, will definitely stay there for our next trip. Thanks so much for another great video.
My parents made the same mistake lol paid $500 for a suite when we could have got this for way cheaper
Omg lol I love the future Tim pop up 😂😂😂
You guys are just Awesome. Period.❤️
Awesome review! ❤️
pier 8 kinda reminds me of pop century’s food thingie, except smaller. pop century’s food area and selections is a lot.
Ive heard if you take out the keycard 3 to 5 mins the power is turned off in the room.
Your videos really soothe my anxiety and I appreciate you so much for it. Especially while I'm at working, knowing my bosses are planning to fire me, but they don't know that I know. So I'm in a constant state of discomfort here and watching your videos really help.
27:36 is the hilarious, seeing Tim's face over Jen's 😆 I like this family vlog style too, It looks like you guys had lots of fun! 😄
Would love to see some off" Disney Property" hotel reviews! Close to parks.
Wyndham Bonnet Creek is nice, you can get great deals on priceline on it and technically comes with on-site perks (if they ever bring those back without a major upcharge)
I guess we will be doing this forever. Tim and Jen are always literally where I am but I never get to see you guys lo l. I'm at Dockside right now and I've been here for the past week and you guys were here and I missed you 😩
Lol, I found out rt after a stay at Sapphire Falls they were there the same night, one dayyyyyyy
Same here, we were at Dockside but in Tower 1. 🤷🏼♂️
Fun video, cute inexpensive room. The audio dubbing was funny🧡🌺
Thank you for sharing
GOD BLESS
Funny , we were just looking at this resort. Thank you for the video
The Key-power thing is so typical in Europe I thought it was the same everywhere.
I thought I had gone back to the beginning at one point because Tim said the same thing twice about Volcano Bay and the resort being built on Wet n Wild @15:10 and @21:50.
I'm glad you went to this resort as I was contemplating going here for a week at some point.
Where would you suggest to stay near Disney on a budget?
Thank you for the video 😄
Definitely will want to stay at that hotel... wow 😁
I loved @ the end when you guys were talking .no mouth moving 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
