I purchased a 55" 120Hz screen for sim flying last year. Samsung Q80T, does a great job. I think this year's model is the Q90T. 120Hz produces a smoother more life like experience, as much as can be expected with today's technology.
I feel like I'd considered the 120Hz but it was such a significant amount more money I decided against it. My intent was to do three, 55" TV's for full 180 view but have yet to bite the bullet and spend the money.
@@ChaseAviation Yes, it is a little expensive at around $1,000 however if used enough it can save a lot of money flying the real aircraft. Thank you for your response, I enjoy your videos.
Yep, I get on there more often than I care to admit. I actually fly under my real tail number N817BK, usually in New England area since that's what's open and has high enough density ATC services. Such a great service.
Great video Brian - nice to see you!
Brigiottas on me if you ever make it over here John!
