    Ginataang Bilo Bilo is a Filipino dessert made by cooking sweet potatoes, purple yam (ube), taro (gabi), saba banana, glutinous rice balls (bilo bilo or galapong balls), tapioca pearls (sago) in coconut milk and sugar. Others include langka or jackfruit, and some use condensed milk as sweetener. Other version also adds evaporated milk. Sometimes they call this dessert ginataang halo halo (mixed ingredients cooked in coconut milk)
    Ginataang Bilo Bilo Ingredients:
    300g purple yam (ube)
    200g sweet potato (kamote)
    150g taro (gabi)
    4 bananas (saba)
    1-1/3 cup glutinuous rice flour (galapong)
    1/2 cup water
    6 cups 2nd extraction coconut milk or water
    3 cups coconut milk
    1 cup white sugar
    For the sago:
    9 cups water
    1 cup small tapioca pearls (mini sago)
