This is such a cool idea, and what a feature in the garden! Will look even better once the rose clambers through it. Thanks for sharing, Bongo. Your projects are an inspiration.
love your work love your beard. keep up the good work. ive made some cool things since been diagnosed with PTSD and you make me know i can do it . so thank u
Wow and all done with a stick welder. For a lot of welding I use my everlast mig welder. Mig welding is much more productive I find. No knocking off the slag and changing electrodes when they are too short.
I've been looking for projects I can do with my everlast welder. I just wish I had access to as many horseshoes as you had. It looks like a fun project.
Go down to the local horse stables and have a word with the owner or yard manager, see if you can get the details of the farrier or if theyll start putting them aside for you. Ideally you want the scrap price of metal really low so you can get them for free. its not worth the time for them to take them to the scrap metal yard when its low. Happy hunting
Hi Bongo, addicted to your videos, I do similar but with mortgage and hence job time is slim... Where do you get horseshoes from? I am in horsey country or worcestershire but cant seem to lay my hands on any quantity. BikerPaul2003
Thanks mate, can appreciate how time is precious, the trick for you will be having a work area where you can crack on efficiently. Find your nearest stable and go there, have a word with the yard manager about what you want to do and ask nicely for any shoes, or if you can have the details of the farrier as they will have some. The best time to get them is when the price of scrap steel is low. Hope this helps.
That is fookin brilliant, but only 9 marks out of 10 as you didn't fry any bacon or drink any 12 year old whisky/whiskey. LOL. I reckon that IF you'd painted that with Hammerite you could've sold it for a lot of whisky and bacon?

Very original Bongo mate. Butters seemed impressed. Cheers Moose. 👍
Wicked bit of butters action and the welding was not to shabby also. I'm welding an iron guitar at the moment super cool

Id love a mig welder but of course its always pennies that are the issue. What projects are you getting up to yourself.

A lot of horses woke up confused as to the whereabouts of their shoes.
No horses were harmed in the making of this project. 🐴👞
