Ale is the reason me & millions of people are Juve fans, it really hurts my heart to see him so distant from the club. He will always be our Capitano.

Del Piero was still producing when he was played. He could have been there two more years without a hassle. On a side note the ESPN crew are still in awe of him and everyone's listening without interupting.

My favourite player of all time, ADP. Watched him from when I was a kid in the 90s. I was genuinely heartbroken when he left juve in the way he did, I would have loved it if he had stayed 2 more years then retired. Also I always wonder how many more goals he would have scored if he didn’t get that terrible injury in 98, he just came of the back of a season where he scored 32 goals! It was amazing.

Remember as a young Man City fan playing Juventus in the UEFA cup and I got there early with my Dad just to watch this guy warm up, took 3 of the best free kicks I’ve ever seen one after the other 🤣 , unreal player and lucky I got to see him play live ✌️

Gigi is a legend of the game. Personally the best goalkeeper I ever seen. However a bit sad cant see he regularly as he played in Serie B. He can choose money if he want to retire in Gulf or China but he still want to get involved. What a man.
I think Juve owe ADP a lot, if you want to win champions league you should invite him back. He should be the face of the club. Nedved is great, but Ale could bring extra touch to the club.
dealing with an ageing legend is never easy. i think his last season under conte, I don't think he was treated as well as he should have. I thought he could have played more especially as the likes of borriello and vucinic weren't better than an aging delpiero. i sense there was some disagreement between angelli and delpiero because he hasn't been back to the allianz stadium at all. i mean nedved and trezegeut have been given jobs by Juve. it was strange that delpiero was never given a role. delpiero is player most loved by juve fans. he has nothing to worry about. but hopefully angelli and delpiero can work it out.
The disagreement was not between Agnelli and ADP. Conte didn’t want to see the club’s icon on the team, he was afraid Del Piero would have more words in the locker room, the coach. Therefore, ADP was expelled.
@@olgak.7004 if that is the case. Then why hasnt delpiero not return to the club in an official capacity. Conte is long gone from juve. Perhaps it may have started with conte but angelli is the president and i suspect there was some falling out there. Anyway i hope the two can work. Cause no one embodies what it means to be 'Juvetino' like delpiero.
Alex is the greatest player to ever played in Juve, there clearly something wrong with juve, the way they want to "rebrand" the club, it's just no matching with Alex, as he is, the symbol of italian football, the symbol of juventus, now we can't even name a good italian players in juventus other then defenders.
Juve didnt want to sign del piero even the year before his last season, del piero forced the club to do so, by asking to play in the new stadium and an extension for at whatever salary juventus wanted. That s probably the reason he s not seen well, his too close to fans hearts

Ofc. It was weird how juve took away del piero but kept boriello and vucinic, del piero scored more per minute. Del Piero got to big for the club though and Conte wanted revenge since del piero took the captain armband from him when they played together.
Yeah... Del Piero saved Juventus that scudetto in 2012 thanks to his goal against Lazio (free-kick)..

Got to see Del Piero play near the end of his career with Juve in 2010 Europa league game against Man City. Was good just to see him play live after watching him on TV in the 90's and 00's.

Between 96 - 98 Del Peiro was the main man at Juve, the rest of the stars are the supporting cast. What a player he was before those injuries.

Plus his getting 3rd place in 97 was due to his exploits in cl where he was top assist maker especially in big KO games both in 97 and 98. He was clearly the best player at juve, even del piero siad it once that he was the best player he played with.

Alessandro Del Piero will always be my favorite Juve player, and it was painful to watch the way he was forced out. I have always thought that it was Antonio Conte who forced Alex out of Juve in the end despite the fact that they played together at Juve. But the fact that he danced around the subject of not going to a Juve game in Turin makes me wonder if it was was someone else - like maybe Andrea Agnelli (of course this idea could be a product of my distaste for most things that Agnelli has done over the last three seasons...).
In 2011, Agnelli wanted to force Del Piero out of the club citing that Del Piero was asking too much money. But, Del Piero publicly responded by saying that he would play for free for Juve. Since then Agnelli dislike Del Piero. BTW Del Piero deserves to be President of Juve.

Baggio and Del Piero are 2 of my favourite players 2 of the best to have played the game. ADP had so much skill and did so much much, off the way they treated him in his last season and still now.

ikr, well he has lived in Australia for a couple of years and moved to California for a while so it's understandable.
I watched a Japanese TV show back in 98 where his English is only limited to a few single words. It is impressive that he can pick up a new language in his 30s which is not easy.
I started to support Juve in 1993 when I was 4, the same year Del Piero signed for Juve. Imagine after 19 years all that you remember is Del Piero with black and white shirt every Sunday scoring goals and winning titles, and all of a sudden everything ends. Nineteen years is a very long timespan. I started to watch his games when I was a kid and then I found myself as a grown man crying like a baby the day he left Juve, I was literally drowning in my tears.
For my generation Alex represents more than a football player, he was part of our lives as our parents and friends. There will never ever be someone like him.

RE Del Piero not attending a game at Juventus Stadium yet, when he left Juve he wanted to stay but the Juventus president Agnelli disrespected him with the negotiations and didn’t appreciate all that he has done for the club, staying when they were relegated,. In the end the departure left a bitter taste but still his relationship with the Club itself and the fans can never be tarnished.

I think his real problem is with Agnelli.
For me Del Piero is the greatest Juve player ever and they treated him extremely poorly by pushing him out of the club. Legends like him should be allowed to stay at the club as long as they want. And the latter applies to Buffon also.
