I'm months late to make a criticism like this, but can I advise against using colours like yellow and orange for text when the text is going to be over a bright orange wooden table? In conjunction with the thin outlines on the text and how busy the table is, it makes it quite difficult to read. Had the text been at the top of the screen for the first part, there would be no prroblem. Besides this, thanks for the translations, of course.

It’s normal. To be called without honorifics is extremely rude actually. Only close friends can drop the honorifcs or add -kun -chan, or it has to be initiated by a senpai. Kouhai (usually) cannot break the honorific barrier. Nicknames given by fans are like the exception for example You-kyan, Kaji-kyun/kaji-kun, OnoD, HiroC. But when you talk to the person in the flesh you don’t run up to them and go KAJI-KYUUUUN because what is respectful is to call them Kaji-san (or if you’re closer, Kaji-kun).
Uh I have a vague impression of the video so I can’t really say whether it was a joke by him or not. I guess it depends who sent the letter lol, if it was a fan maybe Sugita let it slide and if its someone he knows from the industry then its probably a joke.
