The Japanese VAs are very dedicated to their jobs. Like they just seemed so invested in their roles. Most english VAs give off the “just here for the money” vibe.
Well in Japan their are enough animes and VA companies that there is enough work to go around. Enough you can make a living with many small projects. In the US its only what can be dubbed. Even with US cartoons the ralent pool is small if not they replace good VAs like daniel hayate with Hollywood actors.
VA english can become really good but will never beat or even get close to the lvl of profissionalism VA JP has. They are doing this for so long, plus the language is hyper-expressive and for last but not least they are real artist with the power of the voice.
Mr. Nemesis Japan gives proper respect for voice acting as an artform. Western countries don't have anywhere near that level of appreciation for that craft.

The Japanese VAs are very dedicated to their jobs. Like they just seemed so invested in their roles. Most english VAs give off the “just here for the money” vibe.
IDK what VAs you've been looking at, but most English VAs are just as dedicated to their roles, especially nowadays.
Well in Japan their are enough animes and VA companies that there is enough work to go around. Enough you can make a living with many small projects. In the US its only what can be dubbed. Even with US cartoons the ralent pool is small if not they replace good VAs like daniel hayate with Hollywood actors.

VA english can become really good but will never beat or even get close to the lvl of profissionalism VA JP has. They are doing this for so long, plus the language is hyper-expressive and for last but not least they are real artist with the power of the voice.
Mr. Nemesis Japan gives proper respect for voice acting as an artform. Western countries don't have anywhere near that level of appreciation for that craft.
