I appreciate Kostis and Alesia showing some love for Ireland's entry. It saddens me that so many other Eurovision analysts only seem to want to hurt the chances of 'Doomsday Blue' by disparaging the song and dismissing it outright. What saddens me even more is that they pretend they're being objective when really they just don't want the song to do well because they don't like it. This is the first time in over twenty years where I've felt that Ireland is sending an act of real quality. Bambie Thug is an intelligent, charismatic performer who creates music to fascinate and transport the listener. The cruel irony here is that, thematically, 'Doomsday Blue' is all about having your worth overlooked. I still hope there are enough voters out there who do recognise just how worthy this entry is.

I think Luxembourg will qualify but I honestly don't want it too 😅 but it has the story arc and it's closing the semi, plus it would be awkward if they don't qualify after their big 30 year return ❤

If a country sends a very good song, worthy to win, it doesn't matter if it has won two or three years ago. Then its not a country that wins but the singer so why not wanting a singer to win just because another one with the same nationality won few years ago? So Italy, Ukraine, Sweden, Netherlands, Israel or Portugal should send bad songs for a while just because some "experts" prefer other countries to win? Where is the respect for all work done by all the singers? These ESC experts sometimes are ridiculous
I think it's just that this year we don't have an obvious winner, we have like 4 potentional ones. If these artists came out with something extraordinary, never seen before and utterly amazing, commentators would definitely be wanting them to win and not thinking about previuous wins. But when you have so many good songs, it's okay to cheer for the ones that haven't won in a long time

I'm not 100% sure but I believe Austria, Cyprus and Germany's staging is being done by Black Skull Creative/Dan Shipton (who i think did Austria's last year is what i heard) along with Marvin Dietmann who has done other stagings at esc. Kaleen is married to Marvin Dietmann
