I understand your loyalty to Dame Julie Andrews, passed over for the film role. But that casting decision was not the fault of the late Audrey Hepburn. At age 12 in 1964 when my aunt took me to see My Fair Lady, I knew nothing of the controversy and loved the movie.

You mean the movie, Marnie Nixon sang in?! 😆 (I will watch it some day, because the book says they kept it fairly close to the broadway show.)

I grew up listening to the album soundtrack & while the film was wonderful not using Julie was a total betrayal.
Remember the film wasn't Audrey singing, either (so I presume the soundtrack album wasn't either, though it probably didn't credit Marnie).
