As for Asaaj Ventress' new direction in life, you're actually missing a big chunk of Ventress' story. There were two four episode arcs planned for The Clones Wars that never got produced. Those eight episodes were adapted into the novel "Dark Disciple". One of her lines of dialogue as an offhand reference to that book.

I loved that we got an Emerie-centered episode. Its gloominess is by and large a reflection of what she goes through here, after finding out what their work there is really about. Also, an applause to Keisha Castle-Hughes' voice acting. Emerie is so emotionally flat and stunted she's _not_ an easy character to portray, but the shiver in her voice when she tells Nala Se there's nothing she can do is goosebump tier.

As far as I've understood it, Omega doesn't have a very high M count, but her blood apparently is a match for being a conduit for getting M Count(Force abilities) to carry over to clones of a person. Maybe sort of like copying a specific type of information from one hard drive to another, her blood is the "program" for making that possible. If I'm wrong about this, I'm happy to learn more and be corrected.
Hemlock explains it so fast in like a single sentence in that second episode.
This makes me wonder, was she purposely created by Nala Sa for this reason? If she did, it appears that is wasn't under the directive of the then Republic since no one part of the Empire knows about it except for Nala. As far as I understand, since Omega had no growth acceleration, that she began "growing", at a normal rate, I assume in a tube like all clones, sometime around/after The Phantom Menace events when Dooku posing as Dyfo Dias ordered the creation of The Clone Army, thus making her a couple-ish years older than 10 when we first meet her.

Love Ventress here she reminds me of how she is like Ahsoka coming to terms with what happened to her people and how to survive in a galaxy where her life is always in jeopardy.
Emree is a very interesting character in the season. I am fascinated by the journey she has and how much she seems lonely and feeling powerless.

I was at the ready, Jess, as I had the volume lowered for if you were likely to scream when we see Asajj Ventress again. And it ended up being even better, your small gasp, the dawning realization, and then just your beautiful joy at seeing Ventress again. And with new hair. (With any hair, let’s be fair, like you said.)

24:49 - Her question as to how many others Cad Bane had captured might be answered if she understood Eva's assigned number: SP-54. "SP" likely meaning "special project", or similar. Something the standard clones were not. Jax was SP-32, and Sami is SP-39. That implies there were at least 51 others at one time, making it kind of ominous as there's none but 4 here now, with the arrival of little Bayrn. Even worse, Eva might not have been the highest number of those captured. She and the other two might have been kept around only because they showed ongoing promise where others did not. So the number might be higher than 54.

Seeing Ventress again is a *very* big surprise if you're familiar with her story in Dark Disciple, and she was one of my absolute favourite characters from TCW so I really loved seeing her again. And yeah that second episode was very heavy and beautifully done, it takes a lot to break someone's conditioning from what they think is normal when faced with something that is clearly evil but treated as ordinary. Omega showing Emerie some compassion helped break down that conditioning and we can see it breaking further once she's introduced to the 'specimens'.

    • @madelinegarber7860

I wasn’t that surprised even being familiar with the book because I’d seen some theories on how she could’ve lived. But it was still wonderful to see her again. But yeah that second episode was great too. We’ve known for a while that Emerie had some compassion and wasn’t necessarily all cruel, but like you said it can be hard to break that conditioning and Omega’s kindneess and compassion towards her played a bigrole in thar.

Seeing Crosshair affected by Omega saying "I never gave up on you, did I?"...😭😭
"Stop smiling...it's unsettling", kind of sounded like Padme saying to Anakin "please don't look at me like that...it makes me feel uncomfortable". 😂😂
"How did she know we're watching?" 🤣🤣
    12:17..."there's always a bigger fish"
12:32 almost sounds like the same music when Qui-Gon said that too.
Hemlock is more willing to give promotions than real life "friendly" bosses. Hemlock is the best boss...
    Don't worry, I'm just kidding. 🤣🤣
"Pulled some intel out of her" makes me think that Cid wasn't willing to go along with the empire's questions but either was probed by a probe droid, or unwillingly gave the intel up.

If Ventress’ appearance is setting up a project about the Hidden Path, the Underground Railroad style organization that was helping force sensitive kids escape in Kenobi, I’m all for it. Best chance to finally see more of Quinlan Vos, one of my favorite Jedi and Ventress’ love interest (he was name dropped by Obi-Wan in the Kenobi show as someone participating in the Path's work).

The reaction I was hoping for with the re-appearance of a supposedly dead character!
Interestingly her saber is now Orange and she's clearly showing a more balanced approach to the force compared to her earlier Dark Side era, I'm wondering if she's walking a similar path that Baylon is in later years....
Interesting that Tarkin, of all people within the Empire, doesn't have a clue about Project Necromancer clearly shows how important this project is to Palpatine, as Tarkin is pretty much the oversight head of all the Empire's special projects and is well aware of projects like Stardust which were so hush hush they wiped out entire species to keep the project hidden!

Worse than a fiery pit? Hmm.
My answer: Indiana Jones - pick a villain death, any villain death. Devoured by a swarm of ants, flattened under a steamroller rock crushing machine, or debatably my favorite, being in a hopeless situation where you've got mere minutes left to live before dying in a fiery explosion, with no way to escape the situation or survive. Those are my three picks, and I'd have to put some serious thought into which I'd nominate for Hemlock, the prick.
Re: The Harbinger, I find it very surprising, but pleasantly so, that you mentioned liking/loving Wrecker multiple times during the episode. We've come a long way since you were somewhat annoyed with him in TCW and described him as "a bit much", am I right?
Also, what I find really funny about Identity Crisis is that I KNEW that it was going to focus on Emerie, my beloved - in my (friend's) Discord server, I made the prediction the moment I saw a list of episodes, and from the title I knew it was going to focus on her. I was right, and I was so delighted that I almost did a backflip.

M-Count is midiaclorian count, the number of special symbiotic microorganisms that are present in a force-sensitive individual. All living beings have an M-Count, but only those with a certain affinity for the force are force sensitive. Omega does not have a high enough affinity or M-Count to be force sensitive, but her blood is the unique catalyst needed to clone a high M-Count.

When are you going to continue with “Fallout”? Or have you lost interest in it? If you do continue, maybe you should do two episodes at a time because you seem to be watching too many different shows at one time and some of them you don’t get back to for a while.
