Where did you get the rack and what tubes are those? If I may ask.
You can get the tubes but themselves or order many different styles of racks from Great Lakes Mortar Racks. Look them up online….

What "speed" of fuse do you use for your finale's? I bought 2-3 seconds per foot but don't know if it'll be fast enough.
I used a mix of fuse the beginning of the rack is slow and the end I used the white fast fuse. 2-3 second per foot is a good pace. You will be suprised at how fast it goes.
@@PyroShenanigans Thank you! I bought a 50 shot rack and 2-3 seconds per foot is the fastest fuse I could find at the local shop. But I see all of the good vlogger's like yourself using "quick fuse". I want all 50 shots to go up almost simultaneously. Do you think 2-3 seconds per foot will give me that effect without delays? It's going to be our Finale.
@@patjoyceinsuranceagencyinc3278 no problem. I have a short of my 50 shot rack fused with all fast fuse down in my channel. It when up in a couple seconds. I thought it was too fast. Go check it out….

What is the silver tape?
It is aluminum duct tape. It works phenomenally for this application. Not only does it protect the fuse during the show but it contains the heat of the burning fuse. Makes everything go up for sure!👍🏾

I have the same rack. About half way done. Any reason you're fusing in a straight line instead using the fan shape
I decide to do something different. Because most of the rest of my cakes are straight up in the finale so I am looking for a different pattern for this rack.
Wow you must have an awful lot of stuff if you're starting now. Great preparation and tell me where do you store your shenanigans after you're done fusing them?
I do. The problem is my day job I will be out of town for a week in June and I have professional displays I have to shoot in June and for the 4th so I won’t have much time this month to get set up. I have a million things going on so the co tent is gonna start rolling big soon.

Hi this is my first time doing racks and I was wondering does it matter what type of tape to use
I find regular Masking tape works well. It’s sticky enough but not too sticky. Don’t use duct tape or gorilla tape. Nothing like that. Masking tape works very well.
@@PyroShenanigans looks like you used hvac foil tape to cover the tops. Do the shells blast right through that? How was cleanup?
@@markmartinez8000 it shoots right through it. Cleanup isn’t too bad because it shreds it in to very small pieces. It was only a single 50 shot rack so it wasn’t too bad. The cakes created more of a mess.

Do you trim down the green fuse especially towards the end of your rack?
I usually just twist it all together. It makes it so you have a really late burning fuse. It ensures that all 50 shells go up
