Hi Puppet, thank you for sharing your initial experiences about this car, I am very interested in them. There are hardly any real user experience videos on the 007 on YT, so it's great to see them here. I wish the 007 would be available in Germany, but unfortunately eveything moves very slowly in Germany. According to the website, 001 and X will become available in Germany this year, no any specific dates. I live in the west of Germany, only 2.5 hours away from Nordschleife Nurburgring, I visit it a couple of times per year, just to watch and hear the high performance sport cars, only real life can give you the real experience. Looking forward to more videos on your 007. Have a great Sunday and xie xie ni 🙂
Hi Burning Puppet or Peter Griffin, what country are you in? Here in the states we don't sell Chinese cars except for the Polestar, I want a zeekr that doesn't cost an organ to get. This car looks awesome!!
Hi Puppet and thank you for your reviews on the 007. A few questions please, how irritating are the car's "beeping" warnings and more importantly can you turn them off (or mute them) permanantly, ie make your setting and not have to then reset it each and everytime you start the vehicle? Like you I like to actually drive and do not want any intrusive "lane assist" steering wheel corrections or constant beeping. Can you turn them off and make those settings permanant "default" settings? We have rough bitumin road surfaces on our highways here so intrusive road noise can be a problem at our open road speed limit of 100km. Have you noticed whether road noise at higher speeds is intrusive ie annoying? Thanks.
You can turn off the speed limit warning. I don’t think you can turn off the distance warning permanently, that comes when the car is too close to the things around it, I want to keep this warning myself.
@@RanLinlayrian Thanks Puppet, so you are saying that you can permanently turn the speed warning off? Plus would you mind answering my other questions - ie can the steering wheel "lane assist" be permanently turned off? and how bad is the road noise? thank you.
@@SM-km7oc I don’t think you can permanently turn off the land assistance feature. This comes not very often for me because every time when I switch lame I always use the blinker so it’s not a problem for me, but for drivers who like to ride on the the lines, I think it would be quite a headache, but I wouldn’t recommend such driving as well. As for the road noise, I think that’s acceptable it’s definitely on par with other cars in this class, but the wheel well is made of plastic so when there are gravels being spun and hitting the wheel well, there would definitely be some noise.
I would say it is much better than the BMW i3 since the BMW i3 is a traditional combustion engine platform, which is trying to adopt the battery and motor into its chassis
Bought a BYD Seal in Australia start of the year. I looked at this a while back and thought dam this looks incredible. Even on paper it seems like the cheapest Zeekr blows even the most expensive Seal away (other than 0-60 but then of course a better 007 would win there too). Alas, I have no idea when it goes international, if ever, and when they'd sell it here (though the X and 009 is coming end of year). Also no idea on price. But I'm curious, how can BYD in China justify there current prices in China when cars like the 007 exist? Not sure if I'm missing something...just the 007 looks incredible. Though I believe I heard the Seal wasn't that successful there.
You have no idea how competitive the Chinese EV market is, so you’re right, the BYD seal isn’t sold very well here in China. I think you should look into the recently launched Xiaomi SU7, which is a true competitor against Zeekr 007. However, the only reason I didn’t choose the SU7 is that it looks like a knockoff of Porsche Taycan and McLaren 720S. Personally, I prioritize original designs.
Now the temperature is around 5 degree Celsius, and the energy consumption is around 20 kilowatt hour per 100 kilometers, translating into around 500 kilometers of range. People in the southern regions report around 15 kilowatt hours per 100 kilometers. That’s about 600 kilometers of range.
@@RanLinlayrianthis is quite surprising, isn’t this the new model with new battery technology that should support 800+ km of range. I know this is the best scenario but from 800 to 500 is crazy 💀
@@mohammadalrashdan9407 it really depends on the model, the temperature, and the way you drive it, if it’s 20 degrees Celsius, and it’s the rear wheel drive model, and you don’t accelerate or brake often, and keep at 100 kph, the energy consumption can be as low as 12 kWh per 100 km, so the 100 kWh battery does give you over 800 km of range. However, mine is a four wheel drive version, and my driving is more spirited, and the temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius these days, so it comes at the cost of higher energy consumption.

Aah, the first very good hands on. Thanks a lot. How is the charging experience? I read that there is a Golden Battery from Zeekr in this cars, with very good charging speeds. Greetings from Germany.
I’ve installed a home charger so I haven’t gotten any chance to use the fast charge yet, and the battery I have chosen is not made by zeekr themselves, but I’ve upgraded to the 100 kWh battery made by CATL, which is 4C ready, meaning it can be charged at 4 times as its capacity, meaning the 100 kWh battery can take 400 kW charging input.
@@RanLinlayrian Yeah, I know the Zeekr001 using the Quilin Pack, and what I have heard, the 007 using the Golden Battery Pack, but 4C ist allready this, what is ridiculus awesome. All german carmakers are far behind this great charging speed.
