Actually, I think Then I Met You does contain polyethylene.
Polyethylene melts down when combined with glycol, creating PEG.
Then I Met You contains two versions of it: PEG-20 Triisostearate and PEG-8 Isostearate same as, say, Clean It Zero.

I started using the cosrx snail mucin essence many years ago based on her recommendations (still using it daily, it has been wonderful for my skin), and it’s good to see that even though Joan tries lots of more expensive products she ranks it as one of her favorites! I guess I don’t need to shop around looking for a better essence :)

Just for anyone who's wondering, I've tried out the Cosrx gel pads myself and as a person with combination skin, it didn't really do anything. And I agree with Joan in that it does fall off your face often, even after patting it down a few times. I didn't get any negative reactions from it and I do have slightly sensitive acne prone skin, but I didn't see any big difference in my skin after using it. Like you Joan, I was surprised too since I enjoy using Cosrx products but this one just didn't make the mark.

Please don't change the formulation of the Joanday cream. Of course you can never satisfy everyone, there will always be someone who says it doesn't work for them but I feel like this cream works for most people. I've been a Korean skincare fan for years, trying tens of products and honestly this is my favourite cream, both of them work perfectly for me and I have combination skin and sometimes sensitive. I can see most people feel the same so please don't feel like it is not good enough. I absolutely love it! If you and Neogen decide to reformulate it, I wish you would still make the first one available as well, or release the other one as a different product.
Hello Joan, Do you differentiate your skin care routine between seasons such as winter and summer? If so what do you use that is different? or any suggestions for each seasons?
It all depends on your skin type. Most people use more hydrating products and thicker creams in the colder seasons and lighter weight products in the warmer months.

Am I the only one whose skin doesn't like Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser and Drunk Elephant Beste™ No. 9 Jelly Cleanser? My skin feels so tight after Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser, and it is tight and sooooo red after using Drunk Elephant Beste™ No. 9 Jelly Cleanser. Btw I have combination skin with redness on cheeks and nose, so if there's any gentler cleanser than these two, please, recommend! Thanks :)

i heard that wearing vitamin c during the day can cause irritation on more sensitive skin. is the vitamin c concentrated on the neogen X joanday vita duo cream? just wondering, because i have sensitive skin.
Damn Loretta no, just wear sunscreen properly and reapply. but if you have sensitive skin, i wouldn't recommend the duo cream because it contains lavender oil, which can cause irritation.

Wow! I feel so strangely comforted that you didn’t like the CosRX gel patches. I tried these in store on my hand back in July and thought they were so cool and I have used exactly 4 of them - the rest of the tub is still sitting in my fridge. I wanted to love these so much and it just didn’t happen.

You should be setting your excess financial aid aside for future semesters or repayment. That money comes due eventually, whether as additional tuition charges for a later semester or when loan repayment starts. Best not to have blown it all on non-educational expenses.

Aww man I tried so hard to make the neogen micro essence work for me but it never did.. made my skin feel so dry😭😭😭 bu t I'm totally in love with Cosrx Good Morning cleanser! Its soo gentle and doesn't strip my skin😍 smells yucky though but that's fine it's just a cleanser I dont expect any fragrance free cleansers to smell amazing and as we all know fragrance in products isn't good so avoid that guys❤😂

hi Joan, how do u use the cosrx pha? it seems like leaving me tiny white bubbles, so i just put it on on my nose and chin area for 5mins, then wash it off. If i didnt do that, all the rest of my skincare afterwards have those white tiny bubbles...

I was so excited to try the Fresh Kombucha essence but then I read the inci and omg perfume so high up in the ingredient list 🤦🏼♀️ not for my skin 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
You should try oneoseven low pH chaga cleanser! The price is comparable to the cosrx low pH cleanser but is SO much more effective (especially if you have acne) and gentle/non-stripping!
