Well you have slide the bottom a bit toward the headlights and I think it won’t be shaking
i think it moves because you installed the supports the other way around, the black ball jointed supports go on the hood, and the chromed bolts go on the engine bay

Sure you figured this out by now but I'm pretty the brackets go on the hood and the threaded balls attach on the fenders so the drilling wasn't necessary but real nice car, hood struts give it another point.

Ideas have to start with someone being creative and thinking outside of the box. If all people did was use other people's ideas, the world would become boring. You can do whatever you put your mind to.
Good modification idea buy i think fender is not strong too much for this modification. Your should attach these shock with frame(strong area near fender? Thanks
where u get just the brackets from universal i have the struts already can you put link amigo
All u gotta do is screw 2 blocks of foam to fill in the space screw them in the holes behind the shock holes
Nice clean work, but I would have painted the metal exposed by drilling the holes, this will help prevent rust. I would also consider going to a professional body shop and have them reinforce the area of the fenders where the struts are mounted to prevent it from flexing. In time, if left as is, it will weaken the metal and potentially cause structural issues.
The reason why you have that flex is because the fender is just thin
The fender is super thin on the Toyota Corolla 2015. I don't know what I could do to reinforce the fender. I tried installing the brackets with the struts and it still bends the fender.

If I could install the brackets underneath the fender bracket, the ball joints would not get caught in the hood while closing. I have to check it out some more. I installed it like yours and it did not close the hood fully.
Hey pretty sure brackets attach to the hood and threaded ball joints attach to fender. Just from other installs that's what I've seen.
@@ThomasH7 it came with these ball joints I connected with a nut on a wire. I thought it was going to work and learned the hard way.

Not sure how tool related you are but i feel like you couldve avoided drilling the second hole. The main hole you did you couldve found the thread pitch for the mount up top , buy a tap appropiate for it and thread it into the hole instead of having a lock nut behind it but thats just my two cents

Have you encounter any issues with the Hood-Struts when opening or closing, you did mention the fenders bend?
No, they are still working fine 👍
The fenders do bend. I tried installing mines and it just isn't work out right to close the hood fully. The brackets look like they go with the fenders but, it is still bending it because of the force from the hood coming down.
You think this would work for 2016 nissan versa?

Did you ever move the holes for the struts? Or has it been fine?
It works fine like that, it moves a little bit but it’s fine. I tried to flip the bottom brackets but the strut won’t fit. Cool thanks 👍
