Preparation time - 30 minutes
Serving - 4
Ingredients:
All purpose flour ( maida) - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/4 cup (optional)
Curd - 1/3 cup
Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Cooking oil to fry
Coriander leaves
Ginger - 2 inch
Green chillies - 2
Coconut -2 tbsp (optional)
Onion -1/4 cup (optional)
Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
For Chutney recipe :
Green chillies- 2
Coconut - 4 inch
Garlic cloves - 5
Ginger - 2 inch
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - 1 cup

Goli baje is basically from Mangalore...In traditional recipe we add sugar too.

It is called Goli Baje, but the other name is not Mysore Bonda, but Mangalore Bonda..as it is from a place called Mangalore in Karnataka.

Mysore is heritage city and Mangalore is port temple City. Both are seperate districts heads. We Karnataka people are very proud of our beautiful cities including the traditional food. this is my fav..its just called mysore bonda..but its authentically a mangalore dish served with coconut chutney..its called goli baje cos of its round shape..
