What is your online jobs? I have an offline job and I will be retiring soon. I’m looking to do something online to supplement my retirement income not enough to live on after 30 years of service to the public school system. Shameful but it’s reality. Educators never make the pay. 😢
Hi Lynne, happy to hear of your soon to be retirement and think there are absolutely opportunities to continue doing what you love on the road while continuing to earn online. Jameson works in estimating and business operations for a drywall company and can do that from the road. I work in sales at a dental software company so also can do my job from the road. Those may be a little niche but depending on what you enjoy, there are all kinds of things you could do full time, part time, or even “when you want to time.” One thing that comes to mind is teaching online classes or even teach English through some of the platforms that exclusively work with English speakers to teach children English as a supplement to their first language. There are also so many support style roles you can do from your computer. I would get on LinkedIn, create a profile if you don’t have one already, and search for educational software companies that are hiring in customer service possibly? Or even training roles for those. Usually, companies like that value experience within a field over experience with software. Just a few ideas but hopping online and starting to search things your passionate about, finding companies doing something with those, then checking out their hiring page would be a good start as so many companies support online roles now!
