Another very solid vinyl collection . love all AC / DC albums up to 1980 . Another Music ... is my favourite Buzzcocks album . Thanks for all those great videos this year ! , sse you in ' 24
Yeah, 1980 is the cut off point for me with AC/DC, I just can't get into Brian Johnson's voice. I don't have a favorite Buzzcocks album, I love them all! Thanks for your kind words, looking forward to reading your comments in '24. Have a Happy New Year!
Hey Michael I missed this video 😂 Great pickups love that Pussy Plays album I’ve never seen that Blodwyn Pig album but do have A Head Rings Out Powerage is awesome early AC/DC still need that one John Du Cann was a busy man! I just picked up Attack Final Daze which is great and also features Mr DuCann. Hanoi Rocks wow I remember having a cassette of one of their releases back in the eighties not sure which one 😂 Cool Buzzcocks album just listened to Singles Going Steady on the ride home from work yesterday great album! Still looking for that Blues Image album I have their first one which is more straight blues Take care Brian ☮️
I got turned on to the Pussy Plays album by Cosmic Brian, and yeah, it's a great album. I need to find A Head Rings Out. I've been getting into AC/DC lately, picking up their albums as I find them, but sticking to the Bon Scott era. John DuCann had an incredible career, I have an album by the Attack and he's on a couple of tracks, it's a compilation I got last year. I knew about Hanoi Rocks, but never had any of their albums, but after hearing the one I showed, I need to find some of their other LPs. I thought the Blues Image album I showed was their first one, so thanks for filling me in on that one. Now I need to find the first one. Thanks as always Brian for your comments and take care.
I do like the second Blodwyn Pig better than the first. I need some early AC/DC. It always sells out quickly at my local shop. Great Buzzocks album, but all Buzzcocks were great. Fantastic stack of albums again Michael.
I haven't heard A Head Rings Out, but I like the one I showed, so I'll be seeking out the other one. I'm really enjoying AC/DC, but I'm limiting myself to just the Bon Scott years. I've only just had the Buzzcocks Singles Going Steady LP, which I thought would be the only one I needed, but there is so many more great songs in their catalog. Thanks for commenting Steve, see you Sunday....
I found an original copy of that Buzzcocks LP in a small thrift shop in my old hometown of Ft Dodge Iowa! How does that album end up in a small antique shop in the middle of Bumf*ck Iowa?!?
Sometimes, you just luck out when digging for records. I found a Pretty Things album, a pressing from Holland no less, at a Goodwill for $3.50. Just a case of being in the right place at the right time.
Powerage is one of best AC/DC albums. I need to give that Manfred Mann album another listen. My parents bought that album in the 60’s. As a kid I only liked Do Wah Diddy Diddy. You got some records.
I'm starting to really get into AC/DC, I'd like to get more of their records from the Bon Scott era. Yes, definitely give Manfred Mann another listen, it's really good, almost a bluesy feel to it. Thanks for tuning in Rich.
Alot of people covered Parchman Farm, I like Blue Cheer's version, but I'll be looking out for Cactus, as I don't have any in my collection. Thanks for tuning in.
Hey Michael! Wow 2 Cosmic Vinyl shout Outs and 2 killer recommendations! Cant beat that! You may be able to find a copy of that Colosseum LP under a different name other than Valentine Suite I got mine last year It’s called The Grass is Greener! At least I know it has the same cover. Check it out! It’s def cheaper and only released in the US and Canada I think? If you dig Hanoi Rocks check out their LP Two Steps from the Move It’s so good! Soft Bulletin is a Flaming Lips masterpiece! Great vid Michael! Happy New Year Brother! ✨✌️👽✨
I like to give credit where credit is due, and you turned me on to a lot of great music! I'm aware of The Grass is Greener, but I've read that it has a different mix than the UK version, I'll have to listen to the US version. I took a chance on Hanoi Rocks, and I really like it, so I will be checking out their other LPs. Flaming Lips is great modern psych pop. Thanks for tuning in Brian, Hope you and your wife and family have a fantastic new year!
Hi Michael. I also prefer the Bon era of AC/DC. Powerage is their best album, imo. The Soft Bulletin is a great album - my intro to the Flaming Lips. December was good to you. Happy New Year! Cheers, Jeff
Hi Jeff, I've been getting into AC/DC lately, picking up their albums when I find them, and Powerage is my fave so far. Soft Bulletin is amazing, I need to get Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots. This was a good year for finding great albums. Thanks for tuning in and commenting, take care.
Love the fall I think that is one of the best British 60s pysch albums pussy pussy plays the original is well over a thousand my favourite fall album is dragnet and I, do like this nations saving grace a lot, crazy I love nearly all that stuff John du cann was also in hard stuff they made 2 albums bulletproof and bolex dementia and he was also in the five day week straw people who made one album that was on a budget label saga that is a great pysch concept album That was recorded in 1 day well worth listening to, that's the best buzzcocks album moving away from pulsebeat is some track I know what you mean about going steady because that is a best of, for some reason I've never listening to the blues image I should give them ago, I don't know that album of frank zappa but I know cocaine decisions which I like, a very enjoyable 22 mins a happy new year to you too
I been into the Fall since I first heard Live at the Witch Trials, This Nation's... is probably my favorite of theirs. I'll have to check out Dragnet. I was turned on to John Ducann by Cosmic Brian, amazing guitarist, great album, I need to get the Hard Stuff albums. I'm partial to Singles Going Steady, but the Buzzcocks have a lot of great songs in their catalog. The Zappa album is a bootleg of an FM broadcast from 1981. Thanks so much for your comments and a very Happy New Year to you as well.

Hi Ian, Cool you lived by the Slade boys, only albums I see by them is their more well known LPs like Sladest, but I'll keep an eye peeled for it. I have about 5 albums by the Fall, my favorite being This Nation's Saving Grace, but I've heard Dragnet and really like it, so that will probably be the next one I get. I'm slowly warming up to AC/DC, so Dirty Deeds will be on my list. Cool you saw the Flaming Lips, I've seen videos of their concerts, and yeah, I would say it was an event. Over here, it's the vinyl live albums flooding the market, which for me is a good thing! Thanks for tuning in Ian, hope you have a safe and happy new year.@@ianemery4355
