Hey, I have a rooster that needs a home and he likes to travel doesn't sleep much. Xtreambydesign with Passion. Brian and Cindy.😆😂🤣💞
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Bubba says he'll be right there to get him. Just pay no attention to the hatchet behind his back lol.
Lol, I'm building a G1 Optimus Prime cabover semi truck to haul my camper! You tube@ NF Project Shop.
Hoping to attend a HDT rally next year!
YAHOO!!!! You showed an Alfa....sry just so excited. Gave us a lot of ideas for our truck. We are gonna put tanks on ours, was planning that when we bought it. I want, hubby agreed (didn't have to twist his arm too very much)..at least 100 gals each...gray and fresh, cause I know its possible....Thank you for the fantastic video
We're so glad you enjoyed the video! Those extra tanks are an excellent idea.
Wow what a variety of bed builds. Thanks for interviewing them. 😎🕷
We enjoyed it. After all, who doesn't love to show off their truck.
Good job very informative looks like you were having fun
Thank you! We had a wonderful time.
So many great ideas for the bed builds. I’m hoping when we go full time to have a “garage” for the bed…but the ideas on what I want change constantly! Thanks for all of the rally videos! Safe travels!,
The garage is such a great idea, because it also gives you extra storage. With so many great ideas out there it can get tough to narrow them down.
It would have been nice to see the trucks all i saw was people.
Nice job on the video All the trucks look awesome
There were so many beautiful trucks there.
@@TipsyMarlinTravels Your rims turned out very nice and shiny makes a big difference
Thank you!
This is a perfect video with all the different bed builds. Exactly what we wanted to see. Great ideas for our build. Thanks
Thank you. We're so glad you enjoyed it.
Heck yeah! You scored an interview with Mr Wiener Guy! I squealed with excitement! LOL.
On a slightly serious note, GREAT video! Love that you got to showcase unique bed builds! Super glad you got to chat with Jim Stevens, too. Jim and Dawn were so good to us during our two days at the rally. And Jim gave us a ride in his truck!
Jim and Dawn are the best ❤️
They are such sweet people!
That's awesome that he took you out in his truck. The rally is full of so many great people. That's the main reason we enjoy it so much. We're so glad you were able to be there and be part of it. As for that wiener guy...he's a great guy too. I love how he just went with it 🤣🤣
I disagree the hot shot industry is booming now. By singing it yes it does make it not able to go back to full commerical. However it doesn't rule it out. Majority of the hdt trucks bought and converted are retired semi's so most likely they won't end up going back into full duty.
You are right - the hot shot business is on fire right now. Just the transporters rolling out of Elkhart, Indiana are out there in droves. And yes, the hot shot business does have more leeway with the DOT than full traditional commercial.
We just bought an HDT and thought we needed a DOT number is that the case or does it depend on your state? We are in Ohio
You only need DOT numbers if you're commercial. Otherwise it's either just a private truck or an RV, depending upon how it's titled and how your state handles HDTS. Congratulations on your purchase!!!
oh you crazy kids! So goo to see you over my coffee!
You trained your dog to pick cotton, now that is a trick I would like to see. Nothing against anyone else but your channel is one of 2 HDT I am subscribed to and the one I watch as soon as I can. I may be the only one but I would like to see more history or historical event type videos along with the scenery videos you do. Pick topics for a healthy life though, not highly political. Thanks for showing what goes on at the HDT rally, at least what you can show on youtube right 🤨😏🤣😃. I have 6 roosters in our chicken area, neighbor is using it for a small flock of chickens he bought, when one rooster crows if I yell shut up it will go after another rooster and they slap each other until a 3rd rooster starts yelling then 4 or 5 will be slapping each other, they don't draw blood so it is a few minutes of laughter. Stay safe and healthy.
Thank you SO MUCH for watching our channel. We can't even begin to tell you how much it means to us. Thank you for letting us know what you're interested in. It really helps us. As for those roosters - I'm cracking up just reading about them. You should video that and put it on UA-cam 🤣.
@@TipsyMarlinTravels About 6 years ago I had loaded things up on youtube, I drove a few thousand miles a year and went a bunch of neat places, but when I started getting trolls and even threatening comments when I deleted their comments I deleted the channel. Not worth my time when I had a grandparent, parent, kids and grandkids I was helping. Now I just enjoy others channels.
We have been so lucky in that regard. I swear we have the best viewers ever, but I know there are some really nasty trolls out there. We can understand why you decided to quit posting.
You guys are AWESOME, appreciate the videos, very nice meeting you two 👍
Awww thank you so much! Our only regret at the rally is that we didn't get more time just to hang out and socialize.
Great video, and rally. Really liked the Pete with the sliding 5th wheel.
That Pete was sweet! We're so happy he dropped by to show it off.
its yaw and pitch
Thank you for the Vid ! Safe travels!
Thank you.
Really enjoyed seeing the different bed builds, thanks!
We're glad you enjoyed the video!
Another great video. So cool that you did a daily video at the rally. :) Safe Travels. See you soon!
Thanks!! It was a lot of fun and the rally went way too fast.
CURIOUS TO HEAR ABOUT THIER FUEL ECONOMY.
Most of us get between 8 and 12 mpg, depending upon the engine and setup we're hauling.
That Temco bed build is really nice, and budget friendly.
23:00
Ya'l talking about 'pitch' (up and down) and yaw (side to side)
Your chief science officer will now go obtain more granulated arabacia extract (fancy scienc-y word for 'coffee')
I'll be in my bunk. (if you don't get the reference, we can't be friends!)
🤣🤣🤣
Yaaay!! Thanks for your video! I met Suite Travels Jim and Kellie.
Jim and Kellie are just awesome, sweet people! Glad you got to meet them.
Thanks guys...very good 👍..looking forward to seeing you at NHDT in Kansas in October...stay safe..J&A
Thank you guys! We missed seeing you there but can't wait until October. Safe travels and see you soon.

Thank you so much! We are glad we were able to share the rally with you.
when we got our heritage softail it opened up a whole new world of great people that love to ride and are just wonderful friends and now we have a travel trailer and are meeting another world of great people in the camping world we have dodge ram 2500 with a ramp mounted in the bed so we can haul the bike and camper. I'm still working for maybe two years.Love your videos and would love to meet you guys I am also a truck driver.
Oh that's awesome! We sold our Ultra Classic in 2017 before we hit the road. We just recently rented a Road King to explore the Black Hills. You're right about all the great people you meet along the way. Sounds like you have a great setup and we too hope we get to meet up with you one of these days. That's what makes all of this so much fun, the great people we get to know.
Perfect! What an education. Thanks!
I have enjoyed all of your videos. This video is on the top of your GREAT videos. I appreciate your hard work and time you invest in creating these videos. THX
Thank you so much! We have had a lot of fun making them, and even more fun getting to interact with great people.
Great job on the video Kat and very informative. There’s unlimited ideas and ways to build these beds. It was awesome to see and hear the owners describe their experience driving the HDT compared to their old TV. Keep up the great work.
Safe travels to your next adventure.
Thank you! We agree - the possibilities are unlimited. Other than maybe the RVH Lifestyles beds, every truck had something different or unique to it.
Thank you so much for showing the other rigs. I am hoping when I sell my sticks & bricks to get a HDT. Have a safe trip
We had fun doing it!
I just subscribe..I support people that lives their dreams to the maximum
Thank you so much and we're so happy to have you watching!
Great video lots of ideas. Looks like a lot of fun. Happy Father’s Day stay safe and God bless.
Thank you so much! Hope you had a wonderful Father's Day!
Great video. I've been looking forward to this 1. Very well done. Maybe next year we'll be able to make it to a rally.
Thank you! We're happy you enjoyed it. Hope to see you there next year!
This was a great video, lots of options that meet individuals needs. Thanks for posting. 👍👍🍻
We're glad you enjoyed it!
This video was over to soon! Thanks so much for taking the time to make the video. A video a day made me feel like I was there, great job!
Thank you! We're so glad you enjoyed it.
Loved seeing the trucks and how different they were. Thanks.
We're glad you enjoyed it!
I like the one who has it set up to put a 2 door Jeep on. I wonder the bed length he chose to do that? A 2 door is listed at 167 inches, don't know if that includes a spare tire or not, also high center clearance over the ET Hitch?
Best wishes all.
I'll send him a message and see what I can find out. Most people counter sink the hitch so not much sticks up above the bed. A high clearance vehicle should be able to straddle it without a problem.
@@TipsyMarlinTravels Thank you.
15:04 - "it's so simple, it's ridiculous!"
That's why it works
Country folk, all day long.
Proving simple is best 😉
@@TipsyMarlinTravels BINGO!
Great video!
thanks again
What is HTD?
It means heavy duty truck and refers to those of us who haul our fifth wheel rvs with semi trucks.
@@TipsyMarlinTravels
Got it, thanks.
Now days if a truck is more than 10 years old they won’t register a truck back to commercial truck. Happy to see these semi trucks finding a home in RV life.
Since when??? I have 3 trucks that work daily. The newest one is 25 years old.
@@scottberry5266 California mandates, there’s I believe 16 states follow California C.A.R.B. act. Trucks in the state of California that are over 10 yrs old can’t be registered inside the state
@@crabappleracer : I don’t think it’s 10 years anymore in Cali. I’ve got a friend who still running 2013 t660 kw’s. Idk. I’m going out to pickup a 1988,379 peterbilt next week in Fresno to do this exact thing.
@@scottberry5266 I drive company for the pass 25 yrs this August running local, ports and rails hubs in the state want everything hybrid or electric by 2035. Company I’m with is trying to renew there fleet with newer equipment before the mandate hits. Think it’s different for O/O but I’m not sure
@@crabappleracer : yeah idk. California is a different beast. The political environment has totally taken the fun out of it.
Great seeing all of you again. Hope to see you down the road. Safe travels.
Thank bud. Went to watch your channel and nice the only thing is your comments are turned off.
@@TipsyMarlinTravels somehow it's set to made for kids.
You should be able to turn that off in the settings.
👍👍
LOVE IT BE SAFE HAVE FUN
Thank you!
Lots of cool beds
Cool beds, cool trucks. There was a lot to drool over there lol.
We really want to thank you for taking the time to sit and chat.
You both are awesome people and you absolutely answered some questions that my wife Karie had.
Now she is all fired up about the RV lifestyle Full Time!!
We enjoyed it so much! We're glad we were able to answer some of your questions, and please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have more. Hope to see you again next year.
