May Allah protect us from the fitan of social media. Wallah its better to not use anyyy social media esp IG etc. Better to only use youtube to watch duroos and telegram for talabul ilm channels.
I don’t use any social media but still I’m not fully free from Fitnah let alone using it.🤦🏽♂️ I really don’t understand what people do on this social media. Why does someone make himself busy in watching other people’s life, why would people post there daily activities. What’s wrong if people don’t know what I’m doing, where I go, what I eat, what I drink and with whom I am. Why can’t we have private life.

I deleted twitter account alhamdulillah. Deleted a tiktok account (I barely used it but had an account) now waiting for the time period to pass for it to be deleted fully. And today I finally deleted the instagram account, alhamdulillah. There is another instagram account, I forgot its password but I will delete it soon إن شاء الله
There is only whatsapp/telegram & things like that now. May Allah put barakah in my time.

If every good person leaves social media then who will guide the people in social media? There are so many Ash’aris and Shias on the internet so if there aren’t Sunnis to refute them then how will the naive Sunni Muslims be able to defend what they believe in? We might make religious Muslims leave social media but we can’t stop the average Muslim from using it. May Allah bless you.

The people who have knowledge. 96% on social media are not people of knowledge so what can they call to? Only Ignorance. You can't give something which you don't posses.

Social media right now is the only way to fnd out whats happening in this razy world, isnt the time to no that the sins on social media are also outside of social media.

The is so much kufr in there, comment sections are full of people saying inappropriate things. Scholarly videos on UA-cam are more. What news is on social media? If it is something big it will reach you via your friends and family. The only news you won’t know is that of the celebrities & that’s a gain.

Tabdee' - to classify someone as an innovator
Takfeer - To classify someone as a disbeliever
Tafseeq - To classify someone as a fasiq (someone who cause corruption)
Such categorisation has conditions yet some people fall into categorising others without a second thought, and this is very dangerous.
