Hi, I've a question I hope you may be able to answer. Is the main table of the machine higher than both the table extensions. Even taking into account where levelling the table extensions as you would normally do in your set up doesn't help as the height difference is where the table extensions pivot right beside main table. And the pivot point doesn't move as it's part of the main bloc of the main table. This all means that when you run a board through the machine (regardless of how you adjust the table height of the table extensions) it bumps into the main table and has to bounce up so to speak before the rollers grab it. I have this issue with a new 733 and wondering if it's part of the design or a mistake in manufacture. Thanks.
@@Eldalion99999 because it quickly gets blocked as the reducer encourages chips to collect there. Then you have chips coming out the front of the machine and it’s mayhem 🤷🏼♂️

I have just bought a DW733 and when I switch on starts up almost like a bang but even more disconcerting a bright flash of light where the air vents are. After that the machine runs normal although it is quite loud. Has anyone else experienced this is this normal start up.
Rol Tol it’s smooth as your going to get. I’m happy with the results I get from mine. If your not trying to take that much off at once you don’t need the headlock. I have had no snipe at all.
I purchased the 733 when it first came out years ago, no longer available in the US. There is a Type 1 and Type 2, 2 being the later one although looks the same. Its good for the DIY home owner. Two blades that can be sharpen many times but not on the newer DeWalts with 3 disposable blades. Make sure to clean the rollers often. If it doesn't feed, the blades will dull very fast presuming same as other brands. I had to replace a few parts over the years, its pretty ease to disassemble and service, just take you time, UA-cam have various videos. Its good, although there might be better ones around near this price point.
Sorry to disagree but, I've had one of these for several years and used it pretty regularly - sometimes nearly for over an hour at a time and never had a problem with it.

Did the screws come with your planner for the dust extractor adaptor ? I dont seem to have any ? 🤔
I wouldn’t be using the port reducer unless you have a vac/extractor attached it it..
why

Nice machine but Don’t wear gloves operating it, they can catch on a splinter and get pulled in to the machine

can I ask from out of the box do you get any snipe at all thanks
How do you adjust the height of the thickness of the wood please. As you didn't show that in your video. Thank you
at the top of the plane there is a control knob, very easy to use

if you know I can process wood that its width is 2 cm ???
put a piece of wood under the thin wood you want to plan

Just above the on/off switch there is a little switch, anyone know what this for.
that is a breaker switch.

Normal for a brushed motor. Mine does the same.
Hello could you please tell if this headlock thing works for snipe - i mean this is not making any snipe ?
Rol Tol the headlock does work but often I forget to lock it. I get no snipe with my dw 733.

Did you try to take off way too much wood in one pass?
If you have a voice use it! I hate these instrumental only videos
