In the times of CD the feelings were more intense, information was harder to find, more expensive to acquire and the physical version of the album bring more sensations, of possess that rare object who was fabricated and came from the other side of the world; Not mentioning the album's booklet and the front image printed for u to hold in your hands and take a close look, navigating into the sensations the music would bring.
Sure. But have you seen the asking price for some of these cds online? $500-$600! I can feel this music just perfect. This music transpires the format (a dead one must add). Would love to be able to buy a online full HD version some day.
@@kickuprumpus Dead format or not, music had more weight when you had to exert effort to find it, when you could barely find info on an artist and when you could really only listen to one album at a time. Everything is so commodified and transient these days. There was a certain magic to buying an album or cd and popping it in for the first time.
This is so delicate and ethereal! It feels like floating like a feather in a surreal, pastel colored sky... Absolutely beautiful! Thanks so much for introducing me to this outstanding composer.
Sometimes I think that RPG creators were using these ambient albums as a source of inspiration for their soundtrack... Then I start thinking that perhaps the music was the inspiration of the whole game itself. Some of them must have gotten the atmosphere (and therefore, the sound of it) first, then tried to adapt it in an interactive, immersive and narrative form.
Check out James Ferraro's early work, he takes the opposite approach; he would create a collage first, and then base the sound of the album from the artwork. It's really innovative stuff, some of the most unique music I've ever heard
I think another factor is maybe the artistic approach is perhaps similar, both are music of course and both have the intention of calming the player while at the same time keeping them stimulated, without taking from the moment too heavily!
this has been my go to music for the last 10 days, since discovering it. this is beautiful, reminds me of child like films of magic....just takes me away to a different world..x
This album is amazingly imaginative - who would tell that jewels have also sounds... Each track is a true jewel. Love it all the way! Incidentally, I love pearls and Makiko Hirohashi made such a very good (sonorous) job of one.
Soothing and Scintillating in the same moment, I have been taken to places my untrained mind struggled to believe. Gardens of stress-less sounds and melodies chirping as the birds do in my dreams... A new sensational experience... Gratitude to the algoriddims and this channel!

Exquisite Music. Sometimes (since 2021) when I listen to this album i fell special not only because of the beautiful melodies but also because am part of a few number of people who enjoy this kind of music. Ps: Mitsuhiro Nagano (his contributions in this series are personally the most enchanting) and others are geniuses. 💜
Your content is so incredible, it's gut wrenching though that so much incredible music can be nigh impossible to find the moment you tube flags it! Thank you for putting this all up
Lying in my own embrace Happy to drown without sorrow Such comfort as your music plays A frown means a bad tomorrow Let the flowery pedals drift in the liquid breeze to the sound of my hand gliding through the waterfog A tribute to this day’s final release And at last I deserve to be at ease So drown out my sorrow

Perfect songs to read the subjective forms of the clouds and to follow with a tender eye the grooves of the stems of the trees; appreciate the complex writing of the nested branches, taste the colors of the decomposition of light into water droplets in a garden, and strongly feel the wet soil of ancestral forest to perceive the traces of animals from deep past 🌴

I own copies of all of the Biocic Music CDs. Was lucky enough to buy them all a while ago before they started grabbing the attention of other ambient music enthusiasts and became much harder to find.
