I wish they'd add more plant and animal content to the game. I'd love to spend hours searching for and documenting dozens of new plants, insects, birds, lizards etc. I go there to escape civilization, not recreate it.
I'd love that too. Games that reward exploration are some of my favorites! I know we might see some new animals soon but no word on any new plants.

Oh wow now THAT is creative! So you could carry massive amounts if that were the case. The only problem I could foresee is unloading them as the space is pretty cramped. But it's worth trying out!

also i may have a lil request regarding the shelves.
maybe a video of what can be stored on the shelves and what cannot and how much of of said items can be stored.
imagine all the critters that dont spoil until harvested for a massive meat storage like those peacock bass, arrowanas, piranhas, toucans, parrots, toads, stingrays, Mickeys etc

Yes, do come back. There's plenty of room in the jungle!
That wasn't a bug with the leaves. It's the same button to out them on the shelf as it is to drop them on the floor. It had the rack highlighted even though you weren't directly looking at it, similar to how you can build structures without looking at them directly.
You hit the nail right on the head! Shortly after this video dropped I presented it to one of the devs and they explained something they tweaked in the game that was causing this. So if you accidentally hit the wrong key and drop them all, if you are near an appropriate holder, it will just drop them in the holder.

No there isn't. We were actually talking about that in last Friday's Twitch livestream. You can make nails with them but can't use the nails for anything.

Yes. They added that change at the very end of beta.
Hi, is normal survival world the same as SOA world in tense of animals/plants? If no, what would you recommend to play?
They’re gonna have the same animals. The only way to change that is to change the difficulty settings. If you want to focus on building and survival, do one of the survival settings. Otherwise choose story mode. I recommend doing original story mode first, even though SOA is technically a prequel.

@@ToluenowyDorsz you’re welcome! I almost forgot, for a nice change of pace you can do the challenges. They are quick survival challenges that typically take 15-30 minutes.

The update is slated to come to console later this year. It’s part of the treehouse update.

41W 35S. You can only build in this area in survival mode. In story mode it's a friendly native village.

The reason it auto placed the leaves and big stone is because you were still close enough to the holder and it auto placed them back into the holder since the drop button and the insert button are the same
Yep it was explained to me just a little while ago, and I was never aware of it. One would think it should be tweeked a bit to make it less "aggressive" when you drop it so far away from the holder.
@UnkemptGamer yea I agree, I had the same problem since I have my holders so close together.
Wish this would happen in real live... throwing the clean laundry in my kids rooms and...tada... It's already in the drawer 😂🎉
@pamlange7289 haha that would be nice. Drop a dirty dish and boom it's goes straight into the dishwasher instead of into pieces.

No this update is currently PC only. There is a different company involved in Switch updates. forever-entertainment.com/ is the company's official website.
Do you know when this will come to ps5?
I don't know anything official but the Treehouse update should be here before end of 2023 and this update most likely in 2024.
The last xbox update was roughly 9 months behind the p.c update. So whatever has dropped, expect to add that amount of time. Better yet, when did you get your animal husbandry update? That one in particular took forever to get to xbox
