There are a lot of choices out there and I think you best deal is that rare preowned boat that's like new and cheap but after leaving that fantasy behind in the world of boats with really nice cabins and features for under $150,000 the list gets short. There is the Glastron GS 259 which He has done a review but not the fit and finish although loaded its $117,000 and the cabin has 2 large berths very nice. the Antares 27 nice less money but again it is very sterile not a lot of wood its a solid running boat, then this Cutwater that has 4 different configurations but with the generator A/C its at the top end of $150,000. I like it a lot , I liked the Glastron also but im hearing issues so ??? take care!
For a look at the head and shower setup, here's a video on the 242 Sport Coupe's sister ship, the 242 Coupe: ua-cam.com/video/UgvbodE9xZM/v-deo.html Note that the sister model also has a small galley, which makes it nice as an overnighter or weekender.
Hi Brian, there are isinglass panels that enclose the entire cockpit. Alan Jones Here's a more extensive factory walkthrough that shows them www.cutwaterboats.com/models.aspx?itemid=2710&prodid=13660&pagetitle=C-24+Coupe
Brian Werner "You didn't explain what you do to enclose all those openings..." If you live in an area where the weather would make a fully enclosed cabin more comfortable, there's also the Cutwater 242 Coupe (as opposed to the 242 SPORT Coupe shown in this video).
Can you get it powered with a 300 Mercury 4.6 V8

Hey, it's early. I understand your post now SeikiBrian. Yes, if you live in places like the northwest, the non-Sport Coupe is probably your best bet.
