The NSX seems be having a ignition cut to help build boost quickly (raw fuel in the exhaust) built in to the maps . Send the files to Fuel teck and see what he thinks . I would look at the tps sweep looking for a small dead spot as well or try a new tps for a quick easy test. . The mr2 would make a killer 8.5 -9 bracket car while you cage a new chassis , give your tons of data , time to dial in the chassis suspension & learn how to really dial in all the new sensors to run and make money . Everyone knows how quick it is now but how consistent can you build it to go rounds in a bracket class or no time heads up 1/8th
You should fit fogs into the front so you dont need to use that cars headlamps in highspeed runs. Those things will totally f.ckup the cars aerodynamics if popped up.
They do have aftermarket solid lights for SW20s instead of the pop-ups. They were a thing during the AutoSalon SexSpec era but haven't seen a set in over a decade.
If you do plinth blocks for the case you wouldn't have to cut the floor to drop the case down. Also with the blocks when you're fitting the cage and then when you're ready to weld the top of the hoops. Pull the blocks out temporarily to drop a cage down. Plus it makes the amount in port on the floor lot stronger for the cage.

Get with CJRC and see if they are interested in a partnership. They are kinda local to you guys and build some nice cars.
They're a better choice than KSR, Probably get it done faster
There's programs available online that can help you put any cert cage into any car you just have to plug in some dimensions and it'll give you a full readout of all the tubes you need, lengths, bend angles, fishmouths, everything. You might want to talk to Garrett and see if Ty can help you do the cage, especially now that they have the new bender and notcher at the new shop.
Next you need to go after the 200mph first.
I really wish you guys would show more content working on things. Like you used to
I about flipped out when I saw ya'll rolling through kansas city with the nsx and the Odyssey this morning 8/6/21
I wonder if that fuel issue was because you were low on fuel and how fast you were slowing down could have sloshed all the fuel to the front of the tank and starved the pump
He did do 2 passes and like 5 take offs so you do have a point lol
@@danielaraujo44 that's what I was thinking all those failed launches on that little fuel tank probably did it
Good thing so many folks in the comments told you about Kevin Smith! You may not have known about him otherwise. Meanwhile, @Troy no longer from Pro Fab is still building cages.
Kyle walks into auto parts store “I need a alternator for a crv”
Worker “oh went bad?”
Kyle “ no I need to relocate my alternator on my turbo k swap Honda mini van”
On the NSX Check the VTC strainer on the intake side of the head. If it’s clogged you will get inconsistent cam angle.
On sum real shit tho if anybody should be sponsering Kyle its monster energy lmfao
for the van and going to cold places they do make electric car heaters jegs sells them i have the Auxiliary Heater 300 CFM
I'm in for a 20 part cage series.
However long it takes Kyle for that cage, just do it right. 👍 You already got the 7, so now you can take the time to do it properly. I think I can hear the hatch screaming in the background, "MAKE ME F'N AWD ALREADY!!" 🤣👍
Bout Time! Seriously never shoulda run it like that. Basically dodged a bullet. Kyle might live a while longer now! Glad to know that! Kevin at KSR or Profab can hook you right up.
ProFab Troy left and now works for CJRC. Troy is who built Mullet when they originally were going for a jet Engine.
@@d.w.103 Thanks for the info. I didn't realize that. I'm guessing Profab still has other fabricators still.
USUALLY for better cooling faster flow just pushes it to quick threw radiator.. better fans and good ducting and sealed fan shroud helps alot
I’m sure ksr will help with the cage!!
Alabama in the house! I met them at Montgonery motor Sportspark back in 08 I think. Their MR2 was amazing. Very cool and humble people. That’s what’s up
I say cut up the old cage and give away small pieces of the cage with a limited edition 7 second MR2 shirt.
This would be incredible
People will definitely super excited to do this. And by people I mean, me I am people.
Great 💡 idea...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠
So want one of the reflection posters already sold out , Kyle u gotta order some more and hand sign them , hell I will even get both but was wondering if Wyatt could sign a few as well thanks from knoxville tn
i know kyle and wyatt has the skills to make the cage, but at this level or speed, having ksr who has the experience would be the best decision for Kyle's safety. maybe after the mr2's cage then they can make a cage from scratch hopefully for the hatch when it also runs 7 in the future
no, stick to RWD, fwd and all wheel are shit
@@MrSupermugen ummm huh? i think u in a wrong comment dude hahaha im talkin about them building a cage
Dude never been so proud of someone I never met but mad respect for doing it right
The NSX seems be having a ignition cut to help build boost quickly (raw fuel in the exhaust) built in to the maps .
So happy for you Kyle! Keep kicking ass bro
Like everyone else is saying speak to KSR and let him do the cage, then we can watching kevins content 👌🏽
"Then we can watching Kevin's content"
What👀 how about trying to make some sense?
CHECK MAP AND THE TPS FOR DEAD SPOT IN THE SWEEP OF THE THROTTLEBODY AND OR VACUUM /PRESSUPE LEAKS AROUND THROTTLE BODY . AND ENGINE TEMP. SENSOR.
@@MafiaboysWorld then you would lose the pop ups, my way adding just fogs means he could still have popups when not doing 180mph+.
@@christianbuczko1481 Pop-ups are overrated anyway. 🤷
Get KSR to do the cage bro he is really good you seen the work …
