The album was developed from the notion that everything in the universe leaves an indelible mark -- or a subtle trace -- on everything it encounters. Watch this video and discover it for yourself.

It angers me that talentless twerking pop stars are more popular and admired than someone as ridiculously skilled and talented as Anoushka.
It's so lovely how she is always smiling and down to earth. Musicians like her and her father aren't born every day.

Her music flows like a balanced short story cycle: begins with calming reveries, enters a tumultuous rage, and drops the mic in "Chasing Clouds". Never heard a collection of pieces in one go that made me feel so many emotions at once. Comparing her work with Ravi Shankar's is like comparing apples and oranges, and certainly an injustice to her genius.

Brilliant and if anyone's gonna say that she isn't like her father let me stop you there.. Cos she isn't trying to be her father... Full respect to her and her father for helping make the sitar such a globally loved instrument!
