Another more common than most of us know , I'm in Melbourne and we get many in our outer northern suburbs , early morning like when Rod launched , anyway cheers mate , come n say gidday!!
I live in the middle of town. Have a cemetery and a bit of bush about ten houses up from me. My grass grows ok so they are on my front lawn early most mornings. And always getting Skippy shit on my boots
Sir, Your content, narration and camera work is so fantastic... I can taste and drool over every bite you take. Only a consumate artist can accomplish that. Yet you do it repeatedly with an ever changing approach to accomplishing that feat. Again, ULTIMATE KUDOS! You, Sir, are the MAN!
Great video.. fishing, filleting, cooking and a little bit of family is really nice to watch.. keep it up sir.. hope to watch a happy video with your fam enjoying the fish you catch..😊
Aye man love your videos been a fan for a long time! When I first started watching your videos I could not “fit” in a kayak. Over the last few years I got my shit together and lost 170lbs and I “fit” in one now and can kayak fish like I always dreamed I’m doing it on a mountain lake instead of the big blue but you were a big inspiration for me to get out on the water. I’ve fished all my life but I’m ready for a new journey. Keep up the good work much love from Northern California!
Excellent video as always , mate, but pleasese do a 3 day island trip soon im really miss them! Love your videos. I think ur brilliant since watching ur videos for all these years i now do a lot of adventures and did a camp last weekend but we had storms here in Wales but still enjoyed my self plenty of fish 🐟 keep them coming mate 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
Another great one mate , it’s true never say never there’s always a fish lurking around somewhere and hits when you least expect it, nice fish nice meal .👍🎣 Cheers Wombat 🐾🤗🍻
Hey Rod. Absolutely love the channel mate, have watched every video of yours I’m pretty sure. When are you coming up to South Africa, would be amazing to see you working your magic in our waters. All the best brother. Lots of love from SA!
Good day mate, what time is dinner at your place. Your misses must be so happy you have great abilities in the kitchen and catching great fish. I love your work. Nice family. Buy the way I like your boats. All the best mate from Moe town in Gippsland, Au.😂
Been watching your videos for a while. Noticed how clean your kayak setup has become when launching. Might be the kayak, might be experience, probably both. Good stuff mate.
Longtime lurker (and subscriber) of your videos. Just dropping into the comment and say I really enjoy seeing your adventures. Especially Speer fishing ones (I don’t know why but found it a whole new experience).
Wicked, Rod! Got a letter from the TV license people, telling me you cannot view live streams live, buddy or you will be in a lot more trouble than just a fine. Don't have a TV because one never switched it on. If you did you still wouldn't that's why because you make a choice. Shame really because your live streams live are some of the best out there and also the most damn entertaining even if you are using a Kindle device or simply one of your android phones per se. Jeez! Will just have to see the live stream catch and cooks once you upload them as recordings for us again to watch and playback and also not on a television despite choosing not to own one.Greets from UK.
We have this really short window here where blackfin tuna are in paddle range, think all the stars and moons have to align before you get one?? That dish looked awesome as well - have to try that out. Cheers man hope all is awesome -
Love the vid as usual Rod. Completely unrelated but I'd like to suggest getting some more merch designs going so you can become rich like the other youtubers and we can watch you fish around the world 😅
Glad to see someone other than me use celtic salt. On my 1st visit to a cardiologist, he asked me how much I used. I laughed and asked, "which one"? He is mexican and was incredulous as I described how different salts were suited for different foods. Celtic, blue Persian, Himalayan pink,Hawaiian red, black & pink, fluer de sel, black garlic, and my personal favorite-truffle salt on corn! It's like scratching the dog's tummy in just the right spot, and his leg goes nuts! Sorry, I will continue to have bread, steak & salt. At least I will die with a smile. 😊 Kale sucks!!
Wow, what I would do for a chance to fly out from Canada and do a catch and cook day with you. Everything you make looks so decadent and beyond delicious! Wow
I wish we had smellavision..lol. When are you gonna take the sailboat out again with the family? Wasn't sure if you still had it. It was cool seeing the kangaroos off to the side when you launching your kayak. Great video as always sir. Have a great weekend and looking forward to the next video.
Hey Big fan here! Your catch and cook videos are epic and have motivated me to start my own channel. It would be amazing if we could do a video in Yamba when you're in town next! Hope to hear from you soon, Rod 😁
You gotta get some good quality chilli crisp most people call it chilli crunch, it would be perfect for this dish. I like to make mine with several different chilis, shallots, and garlic.🌶️
yoooo why is there random jpeg of homer simpson at 23:29 for a split second? I had to put playback speed to 0.25 to be able to freeze frame it, just barely.... LMAO
For those of you, uncooked fish is a very delicious food... but for us Indonesians...we are not used to eating raw fish..🤭🙏 but whatever it is I really enjoy your videos...and I really like them
Hi there love the video. Can you provide us with a little information about the mini fridge in your trunk? I love fishing and i though that was a great idea
wish we were there ...tuna tartare....(maybe scrape a garlic clove on the toast ?)....Brilliant vlog Rod , did you put worcestershire sauce in there and not mention it ?...FYI its just called Wooster ,no shire no sauce anyway thanks for sharing ...tight lines
What determines the type of vessel you take to go fishing. I would always use the larger boat (Stabicraft is it?) . In addition, what became of the sailing boat you bought?
Hi Rod, great video again. Quick question please. Roughly how far behind your yak do you trip the livies please? I'm not sure whether to tell the movie and the bait further out or the other way around around
I gotta ask because I’ve always been genuinely curious, are kangaroos as dangerous to people and pets as they say they are? I’ve seen so many videos of kangaroos having other animals in head locks
Dude! Awesome videos I watch in MN,USA. Can I ask a random question? Yes! Cool. If you have ads on your channel,(before, during and after) Should I watch ads if I want to support the channel? Or can I skip ads? You are definitely living a good life. I just want to know how to help. 👍
As an American seeing the kangaroos when you launched was wild to me. 🤙🏽
Another more common than most of us know , I'm in Melbourne and we get many in our outer northern suburbs , early morning like when Rod launched , anyway cheers mate , come n say gidday!!
I was just getting ready to say the same thing!!
They are aussie squirrels

I live in the middle of town. Have a cemetery and a bit of bush about ten houses up from me. My grass grows ok so they are on my front lawn early most mornings. And always getting Skippy shit on my boots

SpeeR ? ;}
@@Light178-tc5eb lol! Yes totally not correct spelling. I live near a town called Speers Point - my tired brain reverted to that, instead of Spear 😁

Lol at Homer in the Ironworks... :D
Saturday is now complete ❤
Well done
Hi there love the video. Can you provide us with a little information about the mini fridge in your trunk? I love fishing and i though that was a great idea
Before being eaten, even if very fresh, sea fish should be put in the blast chiller to avoid Anisakis.
wish we were there ...tuna tartare....(maybe scrape a garlic clove on the toast ?)....Brilliant vlog Rod , did you put worcestershire sauce in there and not mention it ?...FYI its just called Wooster ,no shire no sauce anyway thanks for sharing ...tight lines
Ummm so Worcestershire is called Woo ster? Shire is silent?
you’re brave. i’d be too worried to slap the filleted fish on that bare filleting table hahaha
Is that woody? Haven’t been there in forever. Love that place.
Sometime, can you go over how the radar work? What is the relationship between what you see on the screen and where it is in the water? Thx
What determines the type of vessel you take to go fishing. I would always use the larger boat (Stabicraft is it?) .
In addition, what became of the sailing boat you bought?
Head to Evans Head plenty of Tuna and Mackerel up there only an hour away from there 🇦🇺👍
What type of braid do you use on your reels?
Hi Rod, great video again. Quick question please.
Roughly how far behind your yak do you trip the livies please? I'm not sure whether to tell the movie and the bait further out or the other way around around
Finally you poste a video ❤❤❤❤🎉
I gotta ask because I’ve always been genuinely curious, are kangaroos as dangerous to people and pets as they say they are? I’ve seen so many videos of kangaroos having other animals in head locks
They are more scared of you...but wild animals are unpredictable...always have your eye on them when close
Nice video
One lucky bird. Can you show us your fish tank? I have a couple. Aloha
Thumbnail is dope
a couple roos hanging by the launch
Dude! Awesome videos I watch in MN,USA. Can I ask a random question? Yes! Cool. If you have ads on your channel,(before, during and after) Should I watch ads if I want to support the channel? Or can I skip ads? You are definitely living a good life. I just want to know how to help. 👍
What kayak does he use?
Lol what was the simpsons insert at 23:28
Love the 'tuna tataki' mix idea, but why no soy / fish sauce..?
